The service was fine and the establishment was clean and orderly, but the food was a different story. We had the wings, Caesar salad & soup and the Philly cheesesteak. Buffalo wings tasted like strong taco seasoning and were extremely disappointing, served with no greens and nearly $15 for 8 wings :,( .... The Caesar salad was basically covered in Mayo and tasted nothing like a Caesar salad should, could barely eat the few bites I did and I will eat almost anything. Gross. The minestrone...how is it possible for a soups to taste like couch medicine? I used the Yelp wait-list feature this year on my second visit and reduced the one-hour wait to nothing! Thank you yelp! Everything was just as good as I remembered it. This time I was able to get a spot in their indoor/outdoor patio space. The social fries were still addictive and delicious. Last year I had a tasty salad, this time the mahi blackened fish tacos were not to disappoint. My husband tried the steak. It was a touch overcooked, but still tasted OK. Their cocktails are amazing. They use their own crafted syrups and herbs to enhance the drinks. Their beer menu also has a good selection of brews. Hands down my favorite restaurant in the Standale/Walker area. Fair priced, excellent service, and they always have fantastic seasonal specials weekly. I recommend the tomato goat cheese soup, any of their salads and the spinach dip! Delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Most food is excellent. I've been here multiple times. I would not recommend the meatloaf, as it is very weird! I ordered baby back ribs once and I could barely get them off the bone. Visited this place after work on St. Patrick's day for a few drinks. We ended up getting a bunch of their apps to share for the table. Everything we had was fantastic. They had a reuben egg roll special and it was really good. The Mac and cheese egg rolls are everything everyone says they are. I really loved their social fries too. I wish all French fries were that good. They were perfectly crispy for a thicker cut fry and the season was delicious. I skipped the st Patricks day drinks and just had an old fashioned but it was really good. It had long road nocino in it and which was a nice touch. My husband got a spicy chicken sandwich as a meal. He said it wasn't anything to rave about like the apps but that is was good. We will definitely go back so we can try more things off the menu. read more

During my most visit, I ordered the Mac Daddy Burger with some fries. It was incredible! Very flavorful and definitely satisfied the craving I had been having for a burger. We ended the meal with a Chocolate Chip Cookie and Social Brownie, which were both equally delicious! Definitely recommend the food and service of this place! The only downside is no reservations. While they have a wait list you can join (online and in person), if you have a party of 5+, you won't be able to join without seeing the host. Kinda inconvenient but can understand has they have limited larger tables. Place is also busy which fantastic for them! Not so much for my starving stomach :) read more

Nice spot that is close to home! We ordered takeout once this year and also dined in once before the craziness of the pandemic started. All of the food was enjoyable, especially the lobster Mac. Some of the items seem a bit overpriced, but overall not too bad. I thought the drinks were just okay, but I'm not a huge cocktail person. One critique I have was that the service was a little subpar. They may have been having a busy day, so it's understandable. The waitress told me and my friend that since they were busy, we would need to limit ourselves to only 90 minutes at our table. This seemed like just a weird comment to make, and came off kind of awkward and unnecessary... overall, though, I would return, especially since it's so close to home. read more

I went here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and I don't think I could have picked a better place to go. We started off with a couple drinks; a beer and the caramel apple mule which is my new favorite drink. For the appetizer we agreed on the beer cheese dip and it did not disappoint, especially the bread that is served along with it. For the main course we had the chicken & waffles and beef stroganoff. Both items were saturated in flavor and were very good sized portions. I took more than half of my stroganoff home because of how much food was served. The chicken & waffles were definitely on the sweeter side but very tasty nonetheless. I highly recommend this restaurant despite it being a little crowded and noisy. It has a great atmosphere, amazing food and drinks that includes a weekly specials menu, and the service was on par with other restaurants I've been to. read more

Had a wonderful experience for our first visit to Westside Social. Joined the waitlist via yelp which is a great feature and I wish more places used it. The place was on slam, but we only really had to wait 20 min or so because of the feature. Our server, Jake, was great! He kind of snuck up on us though... seemed quiet, polite, etc and when we ordered or drinks, I asked for a diet and he was quick to respond with, "what rum?" It made us laugh, but I also then up-ordered to a drink. He was very attentive, gave great (honest/real) feedback regarding our questions about the menu, we actually changed our app order to the bacon Mac egg rolls on his suggestion and do not regret it. We shared an entree- the chicken roulade- which was fantastic! Jake was quick, witty, attentive... he truly interacted with us and seemed to care about making our experience something other than ordinary. This was our second time dining out since restaurants reopened. We used Yelp Waitlist to get a jump on the crowd and had a pretty short wait time. My husband ordered the burrito and really, really enjoyed it. He said it was the perfect level of spiciness and he was only able to eat about 60% of it, so he asked for a side of the red sauce to help it stay juicy upon reheating in the microwave. My salmon putanesca was perfectly sized for my appetite. I loved the combination of flaky salmon with the briny kalamata olives and tomatoes that had just burst. In my opinion these three things are made for each other! The couscous with sauteed zucchini and squash brought balance to the plate. I would definitely order my meal again, as would my husband.
