This location is located in Broadway in the Beach, which is composed of restaurants, bars, rides, souvenir shops and boutiques. Wet Willie's is steps away from Senor Frogs and Fat Tuesday's, a spring breaker's dream. I had never ate food at a Wet Willie's before but I was pleasantly surprised. The menu is not serving escargot but everything we had was delicious. I ordered the Drunken Chicken Sandwich which was delicious. The tender grilled chicken sandwich came drenched in a savory sauce with a slight kick. The fries served with it were crispy and fresh. My friends all devoured their lunch and left nothing but the plate. The daiquiris are always delicious. I ordered my signature daiquiri, The Pink Flamingo, Pina colada and Strawberry Daiquiri mixed. My drink even had a heart right in the middle of my frozen libation. Our waiter was cute and very friendly. I had no complaints. I wish we got to come back to this location at night to see the vibe at night, we just had so many other places to check out. Wet Willie's at Boardwalk at the Beach is my favorite place to go in Myrtle Beach. This was the second time my husband and I went. The first time we stayed at the La Quinta, and walked so we were able to hang out and "enjoy" ourselves a little more. When you get here it will look empty. Don't be afraid! Just walk right in, seat yourself on the back patio. It' a little hidden gem with TVs, couches to lounge around, and trees for shade. It was fantastic. Please do yourself a favor and order the bacon cheese fries. They are SOOO GOOOD. I promise you won't be dissapointed. Although this is a frozen drinks restaurant you can order a Jack and Coke, something my husband appreciated because it wasn't so sweet. You can also order one of their famous "finger shots" which is just how it sounds to add to your frozen drinks. My favorite drink to order is Call A Cab because it is not too sweet and you can add a shot. You really only need one, but when you're enjoying yourself and your hotel is within walking distance, why stop at 1? read more

Welp, as far as tourist traps go - this one is my favorite. I walked in knowing they were waiting for a sucker like me and walked out happily buzzed with no complaints. This is not a new idea, but they do it well here: a daiquiri extravaganza like adult froyo machines all lined up against the wall. There's catchy, pithy names for them all and you can mix them, drink them solo, or create your own little adventure. The wait staff were helpful, entertaining, and fun to talk to and we enjoyed the food as well. The teriyaki wings were great, perfectly sized for a portion and helped soak up some of the liquid danger I imbibed. I highly recommend anything blue or red, because you know blue and red anything always tastes like a safe bet. She got the Willie Philly, really good with the tator tots. However, $13.25 for nachos is a bit extreme, especially when the bottom of the bowl was a LEGIT puddle of grease. I mean, the ground beef was very well seasoned, but i couldn't possibly finish eating the dish on account of the grease. The waiter seemed astounded by the "excessive grease" - his words, but nothing was taken off the bill or even half price or anything. So that's annoying. This was our other go to bar besides Fat Tuesday, and they're pretty much right across from each other which is dangerous lol. We were also here pretty much every night. And for the same obvious reasons, good strong drinks. The Call A Cab was my fave, and I think a hit with most people I'm guessing. Bartenders and staff were pretty friendly. There's a nice spacious outside patio in the back, where you can just relax drink and even eat. There's also a t.v. back there, but I have to warn, come sun down you might see a few flying water bugs which really creeped me out and we ended up leaving after a couple actually flew onto my boyfriend. It was hilarious and I was in tears, but every time we came back after I was super paranoid lmaoooo. Still can't wait to come back though! read more

I'm a guy who wears a baseball cap a lot, especially on vacation. So when my wife and I (and my brother and his wife) tried to go check this place out I was disappointed. I was told (as was my brother who was also wearing his cap) that they had a "dress code" and that we'd need to remove our caps while inside. The last time I was told that was at my grandmother's house for dinner, and I guarantee she wasn't serving drinks.
