There is a nice seating area near the entrance so we hung out in the big armchairs. The lassi was good; it could have been blended more as most lassi concoctions that I've had are very creamy with just the right amount of yogurt tang....this one was "ice-chunky". But it was still tasty. As promised, the meals were ready to go in about 25 minutes. They traveled well and were still hot when we got home. I really enjoyed the channa appetizer; lots of different flavor layers throughout with just a subtle hint of spice. I tasted the chicken tikka masala; well spiced cubed chicken over basmati rice (same rice that I had with my chicken bowl). Some of the chicken pieces were really big and the portion was definitely generous. My sliced chicken was also really good - different flavor profile from the tikka. Since the salad is served in the same container, it gets pretty warm....but it saves having a separate to-go box for a small salad. They also have an entire rolled ice cream selection - plus chai-inspired hot drinks and other desserts available. I wanted to try the naan and asked if we could order a side of it. Unfortunately, they still considered it "lunch" time and couldn't sell me a piece or two of naan. I found that a little weird, but I chalk it up to being a fairly new business. The Quiche Lorraine were 2 slices of quiche which were very dense with pieces of ham in a rich cheese & egg blend in a flaky crust, a bit of a saltier flavor. The Mac & Cheese had firm cavatappi macaroni smothered in a rich cheese sauce. I finished much of the food ordered, but I needed a small box for the extra slice of quiche, which I enjoyed for breakfast the next day. The fish basket was a good portion of hand breaded and deep fried crisp piece of cod, hand cut golden fries (lightly salted), tartar sauce and a small cup of slaw. And, yet. On a recent trip to the Glens Falls area I ordered the same breakfast sandwich from Spot Coffee three mornings in a row. All the mornings I was in the area in fact. It was called Mike's breakfast sandwich. And, look. I don't know who Mike is--but his taste in breakfast sandwich toppings? Top notch. I got mine on a plain bagel and it comes with egg, provolone, and cream cheese. It's almost poetic in its simplicity. And, sheer perfection. They also have coffee, of course, which I very much enjoyed as well. Each morning I got one of their specialty lattes. One morning I got their spiced cookie latte and the other two mornings I got their frosty mint mocha. Both were fabulous and I was able to sub almond milk, which was great. I ordered delivery and they packaged everything beautifully and it arrived still quite warm. Thank you Spot Coffee for making this girl's winter work travel just a skosh more warm and welcoming.
