The food is delicious and fresh. I've been there few times love the breakfast bowl and the salads. I usually go with my girl friends, we always get something extra to share and try So Yummy! I'm giving three stars because our breakfast was good. But the service (non-existent) and drinks were so sub-par. We were seated inside even though we had a reservation for outside. They did not hand us menus so we assumed that the QR code on the table that says order here was expected. After we completed our order and paid, the server brought us menus and chastised us for using the QR code... weird but okay. That was the last we saw of her. We had to ask for water from the other server and no ketchup or hot sauce was brought with the fries and breakfast potatoes. They seem like they want to be French but Pomme de Terre literally means potato- so potato (PDT) Madison?! The indoor decor was beautiful. However, the atmosphere didn't feel the most welcoming. Even though this cafe came highly recommended, i was tempted to just walk out and not dine at all because of the poor service. Food was not any better than service. When we entered, we weren't seen/greeted by anyone as no workers were there, so went to the front desk (which was actually in the back of the cafe) to look at the menus. That's when someone came out asking if we wanted a table and we said we just wanted to look deeper that menu first to which she replied "Oh there's menu outside but okay..." like that was unnecessary remark especially since it was a really cold day. When we got seated, she was going to pour cold water for us but we asked if she had hot water and she just said "Hot water.? Okay well I can't put hot water in this cup..." like okay go get another cup then? that's what most waiters do, because hot and cold water cups are different obviously, and they don't remark it, it's weird. And then she was like "For both?? Okay..." and proceeds to pour cold water, it was so awkward and felt so judged/unwelcome. When we were looking at menus, she said "You don't order off qr" like there was no qr and we were never going to and never mentioned that?? I am beyond confused. It wasn't until the food came and we were paying she became more warm and welcoming attitude. Perhaps she thought we were odd out of towners or nonpaying customers but service was not acceptable. The food was alright, desserts were bad. smashburger was ok, nothing amazing or terrible. The macaroons were popular here and prices decent 1 for $3 or 3 for $6 but they were one of the worst macaroons I've ever had. Honey lavender was best flavor wise. Pistachio was meh hardly tasting flavor. crème brûlée should be illegal, it was NEON yellow and tasted like nothing(?) and yet terrible tasting. However all of them the shell consistency/texture was different for all was varying levels of hardness and crunch. None of which were the traditional soft yet light crunch fresh macaroon texture. All just like a cracker thick yet chewy. Soooo weird. Would NOT get the macaroons ever again. The cookie skillet had high hopes but the cookie was nothing but crispy , it was more like a soft cookie flavor fudge. Overall, very disappointing experience from the service to food I should've just left when I got the bad vibes but I wanted to try it out and now I have and never again. read more

Came in looking for breakfast and some good lattes and was not disappointed in the least. Well varied and stocked menu without being too overwhelming with options, good looking drink options as well, I look forward to trying some of those on our next stop in. Service was fast, the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Very cozy cafe atmosphere, fun eclectic decor abound, very welcoming. We ordered the breakfast bowl, strawberry crepes and lattes. All very good! Definitely interested in trying out more of their food in the very near future! read more

What a cute place! We stopped in after the farmers market and what a treat it was! Charming decor, good food (although somewhat lacking in flavor) and a nice ordering concept. I've heard good things about PDT Maison, so I decided to stop in for lunch. First off this eatery is just so cute. I was greeted by friendly staff as I walked in. I was also told that I had the option of either ordering at the counter or on my phone. It was rather easy as they had scannable bar codes at the table. This place definitely gave off Mediterranean French chique vibes. There's lots of options for lunch, from salads to sandwiches as well as appetizers, toasts, flatbread's and more. We had a salad Nicoise with a side of frites with lemon aioli as well as a nice fruit tea and a crevette toast that had lemon ricotta, garlic shrimp, tomatoes and prosciutto on it wow. The only downside here is that the tables are rather close together. This makes it hard to have conversation as it is rather loud. I could barely hear myself think as all I could hear was the loud chatter going on at the next table. I will definitely return and I will try for a table at the far end and see if it's any better. Since its inception, this has become our goto breakfast and lunch place. Brilliant menu prepared perfectly.

I mean it's a fairly adequate breakfast joint.. I mean there are so many in Saratoga.. but to call it a Maison/Poimme De Terre has a deceptive angle that it's actually French which it certainly is not... outside of a French onion soup. I guess it is a small space hence the Maison/Pomme De Terre but if you're coming here for French cuisine you arent getting that. Having said all this it's a much better addition to what was here prior.. far fewer hipsters and far fewer overcoiffed parents and bratty brood from Skidmore. However...its a deceptive lure hence the 3 stars...even the fleur-de-lis that's on the logo is deceptive... not French in the least. If you are from a true dining mecca (not this town) you'll know what I mean. read more

Out of towner here. Had some decent salads here, this is tucked away off the main strip. Don't go by the menus online, they change seasonally (def a good thing). But i had one disappointed chess child that was hoping for a Lobster Roll in February ;). I took my food to go, but it was crowded, and quaint is how i would categorize the vibe.... despite being busy its not loud compared to the restaurants on the strip. But that may be just what some are looking for. read more
