Okay so I actually like Wetzel's in general. There are 3 to choose from in the Camarillo Outlets. This review is for the one in the center section in between PacSun and Aldo. The other 2 locations were out of the mozzarella pretzels. This one had them. To be fair, we caught them about 15 minutes before closing.... so maybe that contributed something to the dissatisfaction. While the cheese was melty, the pretzels themselves did not taste overly fresh. The clerk recommended eating them with the pizza sauce. We had a 30% off coupon and a free dip reward and so glad we used them. I would have been even more disappointed had I paid full price. The pizza sauce, although a bit too sweet for my liking, was needed because the sticks themselves aren't very flavorful. It's deceiving because they have a very nice crumb coat on them which made me think I'd be tasting parmesean or garlic. I just tasted bread crumb. Like I said, the cheese wasn't hard, it was soft and melty. Not hot melty, just soft pully. If that gives you any kind of visual, haha. For the price of $9.99 I don't think their worth it. Even at the 30% off I don't think their worth it. Maybe if you get them hot fresh out of the oven it's a different story. Does hot and fresh help flavor? I don't know. But sadly that wasn't the case tonight. I know getting a hot fresh pretzel is yummy, so maybe that the trick for these too. I'll still come here for pretzels and pretzel bites, but unfortunately I think I'll skip these.

I love getting my son pretzels here. The pretzels are fresh and I think they have 3 locations in the Camarillo outlets.

I forgot that we got to try some delicious cinnamon bits handed out in the samples. We even saw how they were making those mouthwatering pretzels. The pretzels were so good and the lemonade was the best.

Pretzels are normally fresh due to the steady flow of customers. Camarillo outlet had a lot of guest visiting and those shoppers need a snack to keep them fueled for shopping. I have tried the pretzel dog bites and the regular salted pretzel. I always get the cheese dip.

I went in here because they trapped me with the wonderful pretzel smell. As you walk by you try to resist the temptation as you just had a big lunch. First round I win. Second round, you have support. Yes you have other people outside saying mmmm pretzels. Point for you my friend as I tell my husband let's share one. Unfortunately I was let down a path of lies and disappointment. The strawberry lemonade icee was so sour and was all icee. I had to wait for it to melt on my drive home to drink it. The pretzel bites were delicious, not too sweet, but some of them were not sweet at all. It appears some of them also needed a second round of coating. With this I say you've twisted my arm. You did not wow me but you are a solid franchise. Since you have put me in a bind I give you 3 stars as I am neutral. Will probably return, but only if you trap me once more.

Someone please find Auntie Anne because Mr. Wetzel needs help. Lesson learned, don't go towards the end of the day. You will be limited to whatever is remaining in the case because the staff is no longer baking fresh items. Beware, I chose a CHEESE MELTDOWN pretzel. There was nothing cheesy or melty about it. Bought it on my way home, only to realize it was STALE, HARD, AND DRY! It was on the verge of being a thick cracker. If I were to guess, that pretzel was probably in that warm display case all day drying out. Is no one routinely checking the rotation of product to ensure freshness?? I called the store the next day and the "manager" (or someone claiming to be such) welcomed me back at anytime to get a free replacement pretzel. Sounds good, right? Well, I showed up within 30 minutes of that call. Upon arrival, no one would speak up and acknowledge that they spoke with me. I literally stood there making my case again, holding up the line, amidst the employees shooting questioning glances at each other, because the staff felt like I was trying to swindle them out of a damn pretzel. That is 5 minutes of my life I will never get back, plus the 5 minutes I'm taking to write this review while shaking my head since I can't believe I'm ranting about a pretzel. Ultimately, they did give me a free PEPPERONI TWIST pretzel -- and go figure, it was better than the last culprit, but still stale! Ugh, I give up. Location is at the Camarillo Outlets, in the Nike section, between Samsonite and Vitamin World. There is a second Wetzel's in another section of the Outlets, so hopefully that one's better.

JALAPENO CHEDDAR CHEESE DIP It's a bit spicy and delicious. I get the mini pretzel bits, and two dips. It's quite filling for one person...actually, it's really filling for one person. I had to share it with my cousin, and we were still stuffed after. PIZZA PRETZEL So filling. I just had a bite. The pepperoni is good, but just too much for me. CINNAMON PRETZEL Quite good. I like the cinnamon a lot.

The pizza was surprisingly very good. I tried the Hawaiian pizza, which was flavorful, and the bread itself was delicious. Overall, it's a nice spot if you're looking for a place to grab a drink and enjoy a casual bite to eat.

The beer was pretty good, I had a couple of different varieties and they were all very tasty. The letdown was the pizza, I was kind of expecting close to the quality of Fluid State but nope, not even in the same league. It was actually bad, the crust kinda reminded me of when the kids were little and we took them to Chuck E Cheese. Regardless, the beer was good and even though it was packed Saturday night, we didn't have any issues finding a table.

I tried their spicy chicken wrap which comes with chips and their honey mole pizza. Both were so good! Honestly their pizza is some of the best pizza I've had and that's not common for bar pizza. The layout is one of the best parts of the place. It's incredibly open with plenty of seating inside, and the outdoor patio with live music is a huge plus. It never felt cramped, even when it started getting busy, and it's getting harder to find places that are designed this well for hanging out. What surprised me most was the wine list. I expected maybe a couple of basic options, but they actually have a solid selection featuring some well-respected Santa Barbara producers. It wasn't just the standard Cabernet, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc either. There was enough variety that I had no problem finding something I genuinely enjoyed. Ordering through the QR code at the table was easy, and our drinks came out surprisingly fast, even during a busy rush. The system seemed to work really well. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back. The crowd isn't exactly my personal vibe, but that's completely subjective and didn't take away from the experience. If you're a wine drinker who's hesitant about going to a brewery, don't write this place off. There's a good chance you'll be pleasantly surprised too.

Slices of white bread, Cole slaw, sliced onions and pickles. A trio of BBQ sauces and then a side of cowboy beans and tallow tater tots. And plenty of it, we had a filling lunch and had enough to take home for dinner all from a shared entree. If you want delicious local BBQ and a variety of craft beers this is your place. The girl made them after grabbing a "new" bag of Parmesan and tried to ring me up. The cheese looked discolored- blue and gray. I asked her about it and she tried to convince me that it was fine and that the bag said the Parmesan was "aged." I told her there was no way that it was fine. She then proceeded to try to bring me evidence it was fine by showing me the "fresh" bag of cheese. The Parmesan was BLACK in some areas. It was riddled with mold!! She still was CONVINCED this was normal. I then saw the expiration date and asked if she checked it, to which she seemed very confused. I told her it expired in November 2023!! She then offered to throw the bites away for me like she was doing ME a favor. She kept her gloves on that had handled my moldy bites and then went and touched the fridge and touched other products looking for more cheese. She pulled out another bag and looked at it, shaking her head. She said they had no Parmesan on hand. I am baffled that they have ingredients on hand that were so expired! Are they not checking their product regularly!? What if I believed her and ate it!? I would be SO SICK!
