    Strawberry slush and pizza bites
    Maritess C.

My daughter was hungry and wanted a snack so we stopped by here. We got the pizza bites and a large strawberry slushy. Total was like $12 or so. Service was fast and got our food right away. Some of the pizza and hot dog bites were under a preheated lamp. Not too fresh when eating the pizza bites. The strawberry slush was good on a warm day. My daughter and I shared the slush and I had a couple of pieces of the pizza bites. Just descent. The inside was clean. No tables inside though. I thought that was strange. I would only come back if my daughter was hungry but I, personally would not.

    Really? A tip jar?

I visited the location tonight with the family and wasn't too pleased. We were so craving a famous Wetzel Pretzel! We were assisted by Algemar. We ordered 4 pretzels. He had a difficult time understanding what we wanted and he didn't explain too well the options. Also he didn't seem to excited that he had to cook more because there wasn't enough in the display case. Customer service is MORE than just taking an order. He was friendly though which I was happy to see. On a positive note, the store was clean and well lit. The food was good and on par with other Wetzel locations. I'll be back and give them another shot. I'm sure it'll be better.

Is $2.99 for a soft pretzel too much? I lived in Philly for eight years and soft pretzels were everywhere, even in-between the express and local lanes of the Roosevelt Boulevard. At Wawa convenience stores, you can get two such soft pretzels for $1.20, and they're fresh, soft and crisp. Wetzel's makes good pretzels, unlike someone's Aunt, at least, to me. Target's pretzels are more convenient, a bit larger, and a bit less expensive, I believe but I like Wetzel's Pretzels and will continue to get them. I was sitting at a table working on some video editing and the sample guy was out and kept reminding me, just by his presence, how much I wanted a pretzel. As soon as I packed up, I went into the store. It didn't take long and they took a pretzel, bathed it in some buttery liquid, applied salt, and heated it. The staff was friendly, and it didn't take long for the pretzel to be warm and soft, though not crispy really. They're not bad, but not Philly style.

The guy closed early (by thirty min) at 6:30pm on 1/29/23 (they close and are listed as 7:00 on sundays). I'm still hungry.

I wish that they would sell them fresh and hot. Being from the East Coast I know what a good pretzel is suppose to taste like. I tried cooking them in my little toaster oven and the first few times were not good at all. I followed the directions and cooked them at 400 degrees but I think that my oven got too hot and the crust was way too hard and the pretzel itself did not taste like a pretzel more like a bun. So I tried a few variations and finally had to cook them frozen at 350 degrees for 6 minutes on one side and then 4 minutes on the other side after flipping them. This worked great and brought me back to what an East Coast Pretzel was supposed to taste like. I liked the Philly pretzel way better than the NY style in that since it was thicker after cooking it produced a better and chewier texture for me. I was very disappointed in my first few attempts at reheating the pretzels but glad that I didn't give up on them.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience at BJ's!…read more My fiancé and I had one of the best dining experiences we've ever had at BJ's, and it was all thanks to Daisy C and Josh! Josh (who I believe is the manager) went above and beyond from the start. He gave us fantastic beer recommendations and even brought out several samples so we could find the perfect match. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made the experience feel personal and special. Daisy C was absolutely phenomenal. She checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, made sure everything was perfect, and truly made us feel taken care of. On top of that, she kindly offered to take our picture -- such a thoughtful touch that made our night even more memorable. We both ordered the steak, and it was hands down the best steak we've ever had. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable. Between the incredible food and the exceptional service from Daisy and Josh, this visit was nothing short of amazing. We'll definitely be coming back -- and recommending this location to everyone we know! Thank you for making our night so special!
