This review is for the kiosk located outside of Macy's in the lower level of the Palm Desert Town Center Mall. I'm being specific, as there's another location upstairs next to the Cold Stone Creamery. Picked up a couple of cold drinks (regular Lemonade, Frozen Lemonade slush, and a Blue Raspberry slush) and a Pretzel with Cheese dip. Hello, I went to the mall and had a simple question about the promotion where you buy something from Wetzel pretzel and you get a free pretzel that I asked the worker. The worker asked their manager or co worker that was cutting the bread and that man was very rude to me and her ( the worker). He was talking to me with attitude for asking a question about the promotion. I told him I went downstairs and scanned the points from the other wetzel pretzel location and he was talking to me very rudely. I told him it was fine and that i was going to just buy something else and the girl worker rang me up for a pizza bites and she told me the total. Thats when he was rude to her because he was explaining the promotion to her and after a few seconds he rudely told her "so are you going to give him his pretzels or what?" And she was like yes and he rudely replied "dont give him the free pretzel for not scanning the points." She was just trying to do her job and he was just very rude to her and to me and I dont like that. I dont like that he was rude to her and i would like someone to make sure he is fit to work there. read more

I was a victim of reverse racism. Period. The reviews in response are completely false and made up. First of all there is no door to the establishment that right there shows false witness. I stand by what happened that day. I have worked in hospitality for several years and you cannot accuse someone of giving you a " fake bill" unless you have proof. They had no device to check its authenticity. They had no marker to check authenticity. You cannot simply accuse somebody of something without solid eyes. I gave Steve USA legal tender le·gal ten·der /lēl tendr/ noun coins or banknotes that must be accepted if offered in payment of a debt. Steve C may be an otherwise pleasant person but he was nothing of the sort the day I was served. He refused to give me my change due. The situation was escalated with no resolve until I told my husband the situation. We we not hostile towards either employee that day but I did DEMAND my change due. You are not a police officer or a prosecutor therefore you have no right to withhold change due. also you had no means of proving that the bill was " fake" had the bill been FAKE obviously I wouldn't raise an issue. I would have returned to Bank of America where I withdrew the money literally on the way to the mall. That transaction also can be proved and provided in a court of law. There should and will be a withdrawal noted by my banking establishment that shows I withdrew money from the bank less than an hour prior to my purchase. I have already contacted corporate regarding this incident and now I take further offense to being called a " drug addict " if the people that claim they witnessed this incident had really seen what happened they wouldn't have mentioned anything about a door as there is no door to this establishment. No food establishment in the mall has a door in the food court number one, number two this is a pop up location sitting in the middle of the mall with no walls windows or doors. I have taken screenshots of these false accusations. I also noticed that my review was deleted. This establishment is shady at best. Steve C it's not about all the times you were pleasant, it's about the day and time you were completely wrong and out of line. read more

So disappointed. I absolutely love love love Wetzel's pretzels! And I get a craving for it about once a month and I find the nearest location and go. I'm so sad to find that this location isn't very good. The service was alright, a little slow because they were training a new employee. Which is fine and understandable. What was not okay? The quality of food. The pretzels were cold and overcooked. Almost as if they had been sitting there cooking all day and should have been removed from the warmers. Very bland tasting pretzels. And each pretzel bite had black burnt crap on the bottom... Yuck! To add insult to injury, the cheese dip tasted like mustard or something. I'm not sure how the heck you mess that up since they buy it in the saucer pre-packaged... Maybe they didn't store the cheese sauce properly and it spoiled? It was terrible. This was the first time I wasn't able to eat my Wetzel's pretzel bites and cheese sauce. Even the coke was watered down soda. I threw it all away. So bummed. I'm hoping the other nearby Wetzel's pretzels locations are better. read more

I don't know his name but he refused my order, was extremely rude and did nothing to help me at all. This location is always the worst. Love their pretzels. The first time I ordered from Uber eats wetzels missed my order and runied my pretzels. So the second time after placing an order through Uber eats I called the store to tell them the order to make sure they got it correct... They still didn't. The fact that management doesn't respond to these reviews tells you all you need to know about how much they care about their customers. read more

Let me start off by saying this was my first time at a Wetzel's pretzels and I was really excited to try a pizza pretzel. The girl and guy who were working didn't even acknowledge me while I waited for someone to take care of me. The man was working on restocking and the girl was filling up her water bottle or something. Finally the girl turns around and walks away. She never said hello or even smiled (no smiles the whole experience) she went back to drinking her water. While I stood there feeling uncomfortable. She comes back and bluntly asks "what do you want" honestly I was shocked by the level of service. It seems like she hates her job. At one point an older man who looked to be the manager came out of the back he looked miserable too. I came in excited and left feeling down. My food was prepared right away and it was really good but I can't help but feel like corporate needs to know about this. read more

I think the pretzels are really good but the help? Well, not so. I had this girl today that had no clue what she was doing. When I asked her questions about the different pretzels she had no answers for me. So, I just went ahead and ordered the Wetzel's Bits. Then I ask for a cup of water (Which they have given me before) and she said "Only bottle water." So, I bought it. Then, eight bucks later ,she gives me the Wetzel's Bits bag and practically throws it at me and five bits fall all over the counter and floor. I moved quickly away because those bits are covered in butter. She did apologize, which i thought was the right thing to do. I said "Aren't you going to replace the five bits that fell all over?" She said. "Oh. Okay." And I said 'Well, I did pay for them." So, she puts fresh ones back into the bag and again rushes so I grabbed the bag quickly so it wouldn't fall over again. Then I asked "Where's my bottled water?" and again she said "Oh. Okay." So, she rushes and gets the water and AGAIN throws the bottle at me and it rolls on the counter! I finally said to her "ARE YOU OKAY?" I mean what is up with that? She looked puzzled. I think they better train your employee better to be respectful, courteous, and to stop rushing. It wasn't busy at all so there was no need to rush and throw these things at me. I was disappointed with their help but enjoyed my pretzel bits just like I always do. read more
