Another one of my go to spot for Vietnamese coffee. This one is located on Jamboree so saves me a trip driving all the way to Westminster for authentic Vietnamese coffee. This place is pretty good. I got their Dulce VTM latte which was Vietnamese coffee infused with milk, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon. Quite a nice combo. I also got their iced spiced honey oat latte which was infused with a blend of honey, chili-infused honey, and cinnamon. Their cinnamon is light in flavor so it wasn't too overpowering to me. There's also an option to add jelly or chia seeds but for an additional cost. I do add the double sea salt foam for that extra kick so that I can enjoy this with friends while walking around the Market Place. Overall good visit. Took awhile to get my drink and one of the order was incorrect so the staff remade my drink. Overall good place to get Vietnamese coffee. read more

I dont often indulge in sweetened coffee drinks but if you're going to do it, this is the place. So many options you'll have plenty to choose from The hot honey on avo toast with bacon combined all my favorite sweet/savory things. Drinks and food are both done equally well. Why there's not one of these on every corner instead of Starbucks is a mystery. read more

By far, one of my favorite coffee places to date. I love their Vietnamese cold brew because it's honestly one that has a really strong coffee taste but it's also sweet. I don't feel like the condensed milk overpowers the flavor of the coffee like it does in a lot of other places that I've had a drink like this before. I do also appreciate that they have options for decaf versions. They're always pretty busy when we get there, but they move relatively quickly. read more

This time I got a large Americano with "a bit of cream and sugar". I tasted it and then asked for one extra packet of sugar. Perfect! Although next time I might also get an extra shot added. This is the approach to take so that you have more control over your beverage, because their regular coffee is already heavily sugared and creamed out. Definitely was tricky trying to find where the shop was, but I ultimately parked at the google parking garage then walked over! It's across from the Equinox and we get parking validation! I got the Iced VTM Latte Einspanner and my boyfriend got the VTM Coffee. Definitely changed my perspective on Einspanners and now I love it even more! The price is hefty here but the drink was deliciously made T-T I also got the Ultimate Sausage Bagel and WOW was it worth it. The portion for the price was a lot, but it did fill me up. Service was amazing. The lovely girl took her time while I was stumpped with the options they had. With multiple locations, it's worth trying! read more

This blk dot coffee shop is located in the middle of Google center. You have to park in the parking structure but they give you validation! Service/Ambiance: It's a cute, clean coffee shop. There's a few small tables but not really ideal for studying. The girl who helped me out was very friendly, and accommodated me when I wanted more sweetness in my matcha einspanner. Drink/Food Consensus: We ordered the VTM einspanner and the uji matcha einspanner. Both drinks were great. The matcha could have been stronger and it needed sugar. I got some vanilla syrup in it and it was good. My boyfriend really loved the vietnamese coffee einspanner. We both really loved the ultimate brekkie bowl. It was very refreshing and the seasoning on the potatoes and tomatoes was perfect. All the elements of the bowl worked well together. It was definitely overpriced at $14 but honestly in Irvine, I'm not that surprised. I would get it again. Overall, we would come back! read more

I can't really overstate how bummed I was when the Blk Dot on Von Karman closed -it was so much closer and easier to get to from my house!! I really wish they would reopen that location. But luckily, I'm still able to order my VTM from this location. I branched out and tried their Peppermint VTM this time. Chefs kiss. Truly, so delicious and such a fun, seasonal twist on a classic favorite. I came to this location on Saturday noon and was it was quiet. The coffee shop was hidddn but next to Hilton hotel where I was attending a conference. The coffee shop was super clean and super cute. This is such a nice hidden gem! It's tucked away next to the Google building, so you can't see it from the main street. You have to park in the Google parking structure and get validated at BLK Dot. They give you an hour for free, but there was a really nice worker here who gave me an additional hour of validation because I stayed past the one hour. I always get a regular size hot LVTM ($5.45), and it is good here. Been stopping by at this place everytime I am in town since 2019. Their VTM and LVTM were always on point. This morning I got both hot and cold while in town and what a disappointment. Not sure if this is hit and miss now with their baristas. Both drinks tasted like water down coffee from any random coffee shop. read more

This location is super close to my workplace so I find myself stopping by pretty frequently in the mornings. I always ordered either the iced or hot thai tea latte depending on what I'm feeling. I usually like the drink, but there have been times where it tasted really watered down. I also like to order the ultimate breakfast bowl. The potatoes in it are stale sometimes, but I still like it overall! Definitely pricier in regards to the portion sizes--i was surprised when I saw their large-sized cup, it's a lot smaller than what I'm used to and the breakfast bowl is almost $14. New to the area so this was one of the first coffee shops I've tried that wasn't a Starbucks, and I'm so happy I did. It was a bit confusing to find since it's on the Google center campus. Park in the Google parking and make sure to ask the barista for validation (for 1 hour). I got an iced hazelnut latte with oat milk and it was delicious. The ice was small rather than big ice cubes, which made the drink more enjoyable for me (ice does make a difference!). I would definitely come back. Was in Irvine for some vegetable picking and needed a good cup of coffee before heading over, so after looking at some reviews, I decided to see Blk Dot Coffee. Before I get into the cappuccino, I understand I am from Los Angeles where the coffee is superior to Orange County, and I took that into consideration. My partner and I both got cappuccinos, one with whole milk and the other with oat milk, and they were both quite terrible to put it frankly. The beans were extremely burnt, more burnt than Starbucks. Also, the milk was over-foamed as shown by the photo below. It was so bad that my partner could not even finish her drink, and sided to go with no coffee. The beans were bitter, and lacked any type of roasting quality. The service was sub-par. Additionally, the ambiance was good for getting work done. However, you are better spending your money at a local Starbucks, where there is just as much seating, and the coffee is sadly, better. read more

I wanted to try a new coffee spot and had never had Vietnamese coffee so I thought I'd give it a try. I stopped in early morning before going into work. I got the Light Vietnamese Coffee (hot) because it had a non-dairy option. They were able to do it with Oat Milk for me. It tasted amazing!!! The flavor was bold but also balanced with a bit of sweetness. Vietnamese coffee is veryyyy strong. I was not prepared to be so wired!
