Pistachio cream cold brew, vanilla honey latte & almond croissant
    Talia M.

Got a honey vanilla latte, vanilla cold brew with pistachio cold foam and an almond croissant. The honey vanilla latte wasn't that great. The cold brew was extremely bitter and sour, the cold foam was not good and didn't taste like pistachios. As someone who loves pistachio coffee I was let down. We decided to throw our drinks away. The baristas were kinda rude- to give them the benefit of the doubt it was getting busy but it just kinda killed the vibe for me. The croissant was pretty good though. Maybe it was an off day for them but overall I don't think I'd come back, I was pretty disappointed and felt I wasted $20.

Clean and cozy coffee shop with many drink options! Customer service was great! We ordered: Honey Vanilla Latte, and a Caramel Macchiato. Both were really good! I can't wait to go back to try their different flavors like the graham cracker latte!

    Matcha latte w/ oatmilk

We were strolling by and someone opened the door we were enticed by the delicious smell of coffee. That caught our attention lol the shop is a little bit small inside few tables and windows seats. They do have seasonal drinks! I got just a regular matcha latte with oatmilk and a little bit of sweetner. Id say its at comparison with starbucks mactha lattes. It was pretty decent . They do have other flavored matchas as well

What a cute cafe! I got the Hawaiian mocha and a churro croissant. So good! What I really liked about this place is the selection of drinks and pastries. I really wanted to order the chocolate covered strawberry matcha with rose foam (Valentine's Day special) but then I got overwhelmed with all the choices glancing at the regular menu. Next thing you know it's my turn to order and I quickly blurted out Hawaiian mocha with coconut milk and whip cream. I'd never seen a churro croissant in all my years being a Mexican and it did not disappoint! Service was top notch, you're not at Starbucks where they charge you for a smile haha

It's a cute little cafe with a relaxing atmosphere. Love all the unique flavor options they have. Service was quick. I got a butter pecan flavored ice cream frappatini with whipped cream. I really liked the consistency of the whipped cream. The drinks, with no modifications, are VERY sweet. Would definitely try again but with adjusted sweetness.

Blueberry Muffin Matcha Latte & Graham Cracker Latte

blueberry muffin latte: 9/10 great blueberry taste with a hint of muffin. it's not too sweet and i can still taste the matcha. i drank it so quickly because it was so good. graham cracker latte: 7/10 not too bad. it tastes more like a vanilla latter, there's no taste of graham cracker but it's still good. overall, service was friendly and quick and i would come back again!

I brought my sisters to Javatini's and they fell in love with it! We are now regulars hahaha! I especially love how they have different flavored syrups! Also, the staff are nice and the vibe is awesome :)

    The Owner & my beans!!

QUALITY CUP of coffee Love a shop that donates to causes like NFL. I got the gift certificate that resulted in finding this little gem of a coffee shop. Their secret is high quality filtered water for a fresh grinded brewed cup of Joe. But the real deal is their bags of fresh roasted espresso beans both caffeinated & caffeinated free, a rare find! I went home with a score of morning brew.

I went with the recommendation of another yelper, Cindy O, and got their signature "fifth avenue bagel", which was a open-faced lox bagel sandwich with cream cheese, capers, and thinly sliced onion on a salt bagel. The sandwich isn't trendy like the insta-famous bagel spots. I respect that this is made to maximize flavor, rather than for maximizing social media clicks. All of the flavor components are tucked under the cover of a generous portion of lox. At the trendy bagel spots, all of the ingredients top the lox; however, at those places, the ingredients rain off the sandwich when you take your first bite. The salt bagel is a nice touch on this open-faced sandwich because it seasons each bite liberally. The bagel is freshly toasted and warm, which contrasts with the cold toppings. There is a jolt of mild lemony flavor, you get creaminess from the cream cheese, and you get a really nice amount of lox. I did ask for extra onions, which are thinly sliced with a mandolin. The only thing that could have made it better is if they added something herby like dill. Overall, I really like that I can get a good lox bagel here and I'll be back.

Yesterday I ordered two breakfast sandwiches for breakfast and a separate deli sandwich for my son's lunch. Instead, the deli sandwich was replaced with another breakfast sandwich -- which was actually the less expensive item. My son has autism and is extremely limited with foods he will eat, so this wasn't a minor inconvenience. He ended up without the lunch he was expecting because he will often refuse unfamiliar foods altogether. What upset me even more was the response when I called the next day to explain the issue. Instead of asking questions (the woman gave me a statement TWICE expecting an explanation--please understand the difference between a question and a statement) apologizing, or trying to help resolve the problem, the employee repeatedly responded with: "So you had a breakfast sandwich and it wasn't the right one." It felt dismissive and uninterested, as though the situation was being minimized instead of addressed professionally. I understand mistakes happen in restaurants. (I work in 2 restaurants- one in Seal Beach and one in Long Beach) What matters is how customers are treated afterward. A simple apology, clarification, or attempt to make it right would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the customer.  service I experienced made the situation much worse. It was a $10 dollar loss but a lifetime of a returning customer. I never write reviews- this was absolutely necessary on principle alone. Also- your sourdough bagel was undercooked and disgusting on my Desi.

Besides, for the next (insert the duration of your cruise here) days you'll be eating at the buffet a least once a day. No need to start Buffeting it up before you step foot on the Lido deck. That's what brought us to 5th Ave Bagelry. Located less than 1/2 mile from our hotel, it was an easy walk down the surprisingly un-busy streets of Long Beach, CA at 9:00 on a Thursday morning. 5th Ave Bagelry has A LOT of varieties of bagels. To put a number to it, about 25 different varieties of bagels, all made fresh on site daily. Add to that, 8 different flavours of cream cheese and you've got nearly endless bagel-and-cream-cheese options. To be fair, you're not limited to bagel & cream cheese. They also offer breakfast bagel sandwiches and non-breakfast bagel sandwiches and a few specialty items. Even though it was 9:00 in the morning I was tempted to try a pizza bagel but I resisted. The siren song of a jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese wins out every time. (This is a proven statistic. Just ask me.) They also offer an endless variety of coffees in just about every possible fashion (latte, espresso, iced, iced blended). Smoothies, juices, and soft drinks round out a very impressive selection of offerings. The staff at 5th Ave Bagelry appeared to be very focused. While they weren't swamped when we visited, they did have a steady influx of customers. It's an order-at-the-counter-and-we'll-call-your-number-when-it's-ready arrangement which seems to work well for them. All food is delivered in a paper bag. Our food delivery was about 10 minutes and everything was hot and accurate. My iced vanilla latte was exactly the go-juice I needed to jump start embarkation day. My jalapeño bagel with jalapeño cream cheese? Chef's kiss. I love jalapeño bagels that present a little spicy heat. The jalapeño cream cheese managed to round out my "Jim loves spicy food for breakfast" life choices. During our roughly 1/2 hour there I didn't see anyone come out from behind the counter to tidy up the dining room, which was needed. I'm assuming they had a pretty intense breakfast rush and just hadn't fully recovered yet, as one of the two trash bins was full. In a perfect world I'd be able to visit enough to try all of the bagels, but home isn't in Long Beach.

We wanted to try the simpler stuff on the menu. We got the just egg and sausage in a plain bagel and just egg and cheese and sausage on a Jalapeño bagel. I can't remember the last time we paid around $20 for a breakfast meal for two. They were both tasty but needed salt hot sauce and ketchup to be added. The best part is they have all this out for you to grab. Once we added it, it was so good. The portion size for the price is incredible. No way did I think I would pay 6.99 for a big bagel, a large piece of egg and 2 pieces of sausage. It was such a great price. Now I am so excited to come and try others. But the prices do jump nearly double, but I think it will be worth it. Check out the menu pics I added to see the prices. It's hard to hear inside. We sat inside to eat since it was very clean and well maintained. They brought us our bagels but I think that was because we forgot to get up from being called. Again it was hard to hear but when the food came out it was all worth it! The jalapeño bagel did not shine as much. It tasted like a plain bagel with no spice even from the bits of jalapeños. This made me wonder if their sweet bagels are different. They recommend the Asiago bagel so maybe I'll try that for the next savory option. Honestly I don't know when they make the bagels but we came around 11am, try coming earlier and maybe the bagels will be fresher. By noon the line picked up, but it never got as busy as other stores around. I'm excited to come back and try the omelet sandwiches and other bagels!

My husband politely clarified that he was looking for liquid sugar since granulated sugar doesn't dissolve well in cold coffee. If they don't offer liquid sugar, that's completely fine, a simple "Sorry, we don't carry it" would have answered the question.
