Came here one morning for a quick breakfast for my kids and hubby. Worst idea ever. Ordered jalapeño biscuit, pancakes and a breakfast with eggs and sausage and biscuit. Got to the window and the kid said "it will take a couple minutes for the pancakes, can you please MOVE and wait" I said "ok" Waited 4 minutes, that turned to 6, that turned to 8, finally at 10minutes I got out of the car and went inside. Half the crew was not doing anything. No one could come out and say it would be longer?? The girl in charge gave me the worst attitude when I asked how much longer. She said "I don't know," really?? That's your answer? The kid came around the corner with my food. By that time I didn't even want to continue a conversation with her. I grabbed my food and left. Even if you have no other options I am not sure why you would subject yourself to Whataburger. Unless you absolutely must have a burger fix I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pretty much the only circumstance I would eat here would be late at night after 2AM when nothing else good is open in North Austin for burgers. read more

First time I went to one downtown I waited 25 minutes in the drive through. They forgot the meat on my burger... I was pretty upset but I decided to give them a second try. This time it took about 10 minutes and my burger was cold. I wouldn't even go back if it was free. read more

I've been coming to this location for YEARS and thus became pretty familiar with some of the faces at this location. But the one who takes the cake is the young man named Jose. Always polite, always quick, and always humble. Last time I came here, I used the drive thru. And I was extremely surprised to see him out there running orders like the rest of his team, not many in leadership positions would, ESPECIALLY in this heat. I find all Whataburgers to be hit or miss. I grew up in Texas and I just don't get the obsession with the food here. If it's hot and fresh, it's pretty tasty but when you come at 3 am and you don't have the freshest food of your life, I get it. However, I came here at 7 pm and got the worst, soggiest, grossest food I've had from a Whataburger in a long time. These fries were so old that I could barely chew them. I asked for extra lettuce and got literally 10 pieces on my burger. I ask for toasted and it was practically burned. I gave them 1 star for the lovely girl that took our order. She was very polite. As for the food, it gets NO stars. Unfortunately my husband loves Whataburger (he would eat a shoe if I covered it in the spicy ketchup) and this one is the closest to where I live but ugh. One of the best locations I've been to. Consistently friendly and fast service, and the food is always incredible. Always juicy burgers, warm, soft buns, never made a mistake in the order, crispy, hot fries, just hit the nail on every head. This is fast food that, if you weren't told, you wouldn't believe was fast food. Their burgers are better quality than many sit down restaurants I've been to. A+++ for this location too. read more

It's 7:42 p.m. on Dec 27 I came to get food to eat at home went thru drive thru did my order when I get to the I ask them to repeat it they repeat it n it all has good till I get the order and check it all wrong I ask for extra cheese on my patty melt n to be cut in half to my surprise no extra no cut in half my wide order a whataburger jr with onion with no onions or lettuce on the burger it came with everything.. another store made some mistakes on my order, i spoke to the manager on that location who offered to give me a free burger for the inconvenience. couple days later instead of going back to that store, i went to the closest store to me, this Whataburger. i explained the situation and the manager at this location ( Emily ) not only gave me a free burger but acted professionally and did it with a smile. this will be the only Whataburger that gets my business from now on. read more

Is there a zero star option???? So so many times my orders have either been incorrect, cold, or overcooked to a point of breaking a tooth. Well tonight was no different. I've been trying to avoid this location bc of these issues however I'm a musician and am usually out late working so when it's the only thing close by thats open tonight I sucked it up and hoped for the best. Big Mistake! My order was sent home with me incorrect with onions I asked to be removed from a burger due to an allergy and guess what.....LOADED with onions...then NO sauce on the burger at all..not how that was supposed to be. Then my fries were cold and stiff, our taquito were all kinds of made incorrectly. So I made a phone call. I explained my disappointment with the manager, his name was William, and demanded my money back. My words were : "i WILL get my money back" his response was: " you can call back on Monday and speak to the GM, THAT'S what will happen". That kind of attitude regardless of the situation when you are in a management position is INTOLERABLE! I WILL go to corporate, believe that. William, if start looking for a new job, because if I was your boss and heard the way you just spoke to me your shift would have ended ON THE SPOT! This Whataburger has absolutely great service and friendly staff at every corner. I'm not a big fast food fan, but have found myself here on a number of occasions and been warmly greeted and well taken care of by the staff here. Everything is clean. Food is fast and fresh. Staff has a strong ability to provide quality customer service like you are at a top-end restaurant. If I'm in gear for a Whataburger stop, I'll drive out of my way to go here. read more

This also happens to be one of the 24 hour ones and are pretty quick at getting people on their way late in the evening.
