    Truffle Cheese Fries

It's been years since I've been to a Eureka (in Berkeley) but I decided to check out their happy hour after checking out the Ariana grande pop up. The fish and shrimp tacos ($4 each), brussel sprouts ($7), and truffle fries ($4) were all delicious and prepared quickly!! No notes! Portions for the brussel sprouts and truffle fries were great. Lots of seating, including at the bar with many TVs.

Wow, it's been such a long time since I've been to Eureka. I was downtown a little early for an event. So I popped in to Eureka to kill some time. Just grabbed a cocktail real quick. The cocktail was called Wild Child. A little vodka, watermelon, and a spicy rim. Wicked good. The watermelon flavor was refreshing, and with that habanero spice rim really complimented the sweet. Bravo. Delicious!

Overall: 3.4/5 We came back on two separate occasions (dine in and take out), and the food wasn't as good as the first time we dined here. Farmers' Market Cocktail ($15.50): Our waitress recommended this gingerbread cocktail, but it fell short of expectations. The gingerbread flavor was barely detectable, though they did serve it with an ice cube shaped like a gingerbread man. Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger ($23) + Beer Battered Onion Rings ($3): A medium rare beef patty with bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onions, horseradish mustard aioli, and roasted tomatoes. Unfortunately, the patty was dry and lacked juiciness, and the bone marrow shiitake butter flavor didn't come through. The burger as a whole was surprisingly bland. I'm not even convinced the tomatoes and grilled onions made it in, as it tasted like a bare bones, basic burger. The onion rings were decent and crispy. Double Smash Burger ($20.75) + Sweet Potato Fries ($3): Garlic dijonnaise, red onions, dill pickles, and American Swiss cheese. This was an improvement over the Wagyu Bone Marrow Burger, with noticeably more flavor, though I wished it came with lettuce and tomatoes. The sweet potato fries would have benefited from being air fried, as they would taste better crisped. Lettuce Wrap ($18.25): You can choose between chicken or tofu, and we went with chicken. The gochujang based sauce gave it a great flavor that we really enjoyed. That said, some of the lettuce had blackened edges and one piece had a bug on it. They really need to wash and inspect the lettuce more thoroughly. Crispy Glazed Brussels Sprouts ($12): The orange chili glaze and chimichurri created an amazing flavor profile. However, the Brussels sprouts were anything but crispy despite being air fried, which is probably because they were extremely oily. Purple Haze ($6): An interesting and enjoyable drink.

Great place - every dish was very well prepared - but the best part of the meal was the cheese cake! WOW that was amazing! Service was good and provided good recommendations - a must try while in town.

Green goddess burger with veggie patty

My friends and I came here late on a Sunday night after watching the bats at Congress Bridge. It is not a far walk and it looked pretty popular compared to other restaurants we had passed while exploring the city. The hostess greeted us warmly and we were quickly seated. Our server was lots of fun and patient with us as we took our time determining drinks and meals. We started with their nachos appetizer to split, which was really good. The chips were evenly covered with toppings, and it was just enough to get us through until our meals. My friend and I split their special burger that day, which was a green goddess burger and swapped the regular patty for a veggie patty. It was great! The veggie patty reminded me a lot of falafel, which is one of my favorite foods, and it went really well with their green goddess dressing and other toppings. We also both got their sweet potato fries as a side. They come with a spicy aoli that went very well with them. The rest of the group got the same burger, the Bone Marrow, which was a mix of regular beef and waygu. Everyone said it was probably one of the best burgers they've ever had in their lives! The vibes of this place were great, the staff was great, and the food was the greatest part of all. When we come back to Austin, this place will for use be on our list to stop at again!

I loved the "hoppy hour" yes you read correct! The happy hour has some really amazing drinks cocktail features & light bites. The dry rub wings with a side of buffalo & blue cheese dressing over ranch was perfection!. The truffle fries are great! The Ceasar salad is a great side. I really like the shrimp tacos. The grilled fish taco needed some seasoning or salt or pepper. I squeezed some limes on top & that did the trick for the fish. My server was great! The only con was the street parking & lack there of. You may have to park & walk. Hence why the happy hour deals & available street parking near!

Amazing! This location is similar to one near I grew up! Same feel, same food and great staff! Food is consistent from the original location we came from and the staff here is just as great!!! Thank you Eureka! for everything and being where we wanna eat! The food is hands down always fantastic =D

Eureka! - Downtown Austin Austin is known for BBQ, but sometimes you pivot... and sometimes that pivot turns into one of the most satisfying meals of the trip. Eureka! absolutely delivered. I kept it simple: Caesar salad, dry rub wings, fries, and a bold 12% stout. The kind of order that sounds casual but hits like comfort food perfection. The wings were crispy with just the right smoky-spice kick, the fries disappeared embarrassingly fast, and the stout was smooth, rich, and strong enough to make you slow down and savor it. And then dessert showed up and stole the whole show. Bourbon barrel cake with ice cream. Warm, buttery, slightly boozy, with that cold ice cream melting into every bite... one of those "okay this is dangerous" desserts you keep eating long after you're full. Easily the MVP of the night. Great vibe, relaxed energy, solid service, and food that punches way above "bar food" expectations. Not BBQ, but honestly? Didn't miss it for a second.

Burger wasn't bad, just took way too long for it. I think the order is forgotten. Ordered sweet potato fries but didn't come, still the regular fries and not too fresh. I ended up box it away and ate it at my hotel room. The good thing is. I was hungry after one hour wait.

I may have eaten my dates fig burger. I do not eat beef, but I tried it and I just couldn't stop. The mix of creamy goat cheese, tart and sweet fig and ... a few moments later it was GONE. I felt bad, but he wouldn't let me order another, because I wanted to eat another one but I was already full. The bourbon barrel dessert is killer and you NEED to get the garlic aioli on everything!!! Especially the house signature fries. The vibe is chill and I would comeback every night if I could.

Excellent food and service! My husband and I stopped in on a holiday, and we found a great bar with outstanding food. We tried the dorito crusted shishito peppers with Parmesan, which came with a delightful dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious; we ordered on a whim and could've gone for another order easily. We each had a burger; my husband had the BBQ bacon burger with truffle cheese fries. I had the fig burger with honey-cinnamon sweet potato fries. Both were just fantastic. The drink menu is ample and delicious. You are just about guaranteed to find something you like! Also worth calling out that bartender was super friendly and full of suggestions. The bar area was clean, comfortable, cool and inviting. We very much enjoyed our visit and will be back!

Eureka! is nicely located in downtown ATX near many of the hotels. They are open late, which was the main draw for us to stop in. There is ample seating and great options for bigger groups. Service was quick and kind. I loved that all salads/bowls could be made into wraps!!! The mediterranean salad as a wrap was a HIT and the fries were nicely flavored. I definitely recommend this place if you are in downtown.

    Is there gluten free options?

The burgers can be wrapped in lettuce wraps, if that helps at all!

this place is a bit more elevated on menu and prices than the other places around, however it is also a more elevated quality and the prices are not super terrible. but don`t expect cheap eats here.

So we thought we would make a whole night of it. Tiffany did make reservations for us for 7pm and even though this is a bar hopping neighborhood, even at 7pm it was pretty busy. Streets were full of people. Anthem had a vibe. I felt the energy as soon as I waked in. The cozy booths with the U shaped seating with plush green velvet fabric. Wait staff wore Hawaiian shirts. Sitting up behind me on a ledge was the Easter Island statue. Insert (Night At The Museum) here, dumb dumb give me gum gum. Anthem was our first stop tonight. Just drinks and a dinner. I ordered the Peach Fuzzy drink. Not too sweet, refreshing, peachy, and beautiful garnish of a flower. I ordered the Yummy Fries which looked like a salad. Gorgeous presentation. Fries were actually waffle sweet potatoes. Pickled ginger, sesame seeds, furikake, aïoli and a few other wonderful ingredients. Could not get over how beautiful everything looked. Presentation outstanding. Service delightful. Had a wonderful time at Anthem. We both did use the ladies rooms before leaving. I ordered a petite filet and I have attached the picture below. They served me a New York strip ( obviously) and tried to pass it off as a filet. I have never had a filet come cut like this and you can tell by the meat this was a strip not a fillet. They said all of their filets come pre sliced like this. So that must mean they are passing off New York strips as a filet. Which is not only unethical but so disappointing. Don't have a filet on the menu if you're going to do this. Most people probably can't tell the difference but we could, easily. Managers were nice, but would not own that this was not the right cut of meat and insisted it was in fact a filet. Yall be the judge by the photo below. The "mushrooms" on the plate were also charred to an unrecognizable point. The only other steak we ordered at medium well was served medium rare. We also ordered biscuits that never came but we were not charged for them. I will say they did comp my steak and my husbands and gave me some dessert on the house, which we sincerely appreciated. This 6-year-old, who eats bread on the daily, took one bite and wouldn't eat any more. We even get gluten-free bread regularly, and he eats it. The bread was fine, but don't expect flavor. By some miracle, they even made butter tasteless. I considered calling the Vatican to see if this was some holy, divine miracle, but my wife suggested maybe the main course would be better. We settled on the pesto pasta with chicken added for an additional fee. The pasta was good. Great texture, good flavor, and the combination of ingredients was good, but it's nothing original. It's pesto pasta. It's a classic. I appreciate the pomegranate seeds on the guacamole because it's original, it's clever, and it's different. We also ordered a special soda drink for our son, and it had a small black bug on top. I had them take it back and replace it. I kind of expected a "Listen, we apologize for the bug. Here's half off dinner," or something, but nothing. Service was fine, and it's a decent atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to sit and talk it's a great place, but if you want food or a drink go somewhere else.

The first thing that stood out was the beautiful ambiance. The restaurant offers both stunning indoor and outdoor seating, making it perfect for any occasion. Since we planned to bring our dog, we called ahead to confirm outdoor seating availability. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly guided to the outdoor patio. Before we even had a chance to ask, the staff brought a bowl of water for our dog, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Another touch that made the evening special was that the staff acknowledged our son's birthday upon arrival and presented him with a birthday card signed by team members. It was a simple but incredibly sweet gesture that made him feel celebrated. For drinks, my husband ordered the Swedish Fish Punch, while I enjoyed the Family Business German Pilsner. For appetizers, we shared the Burrata and a salad that is no longer on the menu. The salad featured cashew butter and was absolutely delicious. Both appetizers were beautifully prepared, flavorful, and generously portioned for the three of us. For the main course, we decided to share two dishes. I wanted to try a vegetarian option, and our server was extremely helpful, offering several menu items that could be modified. I chose the Mafaldine pasta, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. It was rich, flavorful, and unlike any pasta dish I've had before. Every bite was outstanding. My son ordered the salmon, which was equally delicious and perfectly cooked. Both dishes were satisfying and filling. Since we wanted to save room for dessert, sharing the entrees turned out to be the perfect decision. We ordered the Pistachio Crème Brûlée and Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the restaurant also surprised our son with a complimentary birthday cake complete with a candle. All three desserts were exceptional and a perfect ending to the meal. Eberly is definitely a high-end dining destination and an excellent choice for special occasions, celebrations, or gatherings with family and friends. The indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful and spacious, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and every dish felt carefully crafted with unique flavors and attention to detail. What impressed me most was that every aspect of the experience--from the hospitality to the food and special touches--felt intentional and genuine. We left feeling celebrated, well-fed, and already looking forward to our next visit.

The turkey avocado sandwich (my husband enjoyed it) and the hot chicken sandwich was so good ( a little spicy but very well seasoned! My 9 yr old daughter had the chicken fingers kids meal (not pictured). She enjoyed it but the portions for the kids meal are a bit small so keep that in mind. All in all, we will definitely be back to try new items!

With a point system to accrue benefits over time, and at each visit, and impressive happy hour specials for both food and drinks, it's hard not to visit more than once. Every member of service either greeted us, or supported our needs with a smile. Calvin, especially, made sure every step of our experience from walking in through ordering was special. While we didn't indulge in the beverages, we enjoyed the $10 burger special which also came with fries! We paired this with a side of a $6 Caesar Salad (really tasty and thrown together with thinly sliced cabbage, roasted chickpeas, and popcorn chicken). Next time, I'd really love to try the truffle mac and cheese (which was also on HH). We weren't aware of the upcharge for swapping out the slice of American for Cheddar (+$1.50), which would've been nice to know ahead of time, since we both got burgers and wondered about the swap...but lesson learned. Also, BIG lesson learned...the parking validation is for only two hours! We were having such a lovely time at Dish Society, but exceeded the 2 hrs (by an extra hour) and got charged a significant amount for parking. Next time, we will certainly park on the street. We tried reasoning with the parking attendant and they wanted no business in understanding we were patrons of the restaurant. It was certainly an unexpected shock, and didn't leave the best final touch of our evening (specifically in that parking garage). It's unfortunate that we got penalized for enjoying our time at dinner.
