Yo not bad .first time at whataburger food was good and place and service friendly and clean

Overall: My first time having Whataburger...! Just wasn't really my preference, especially at a pricepoint of about $11-13 per meal. I got the Patty Melt & Strawberry Shake, and I also tried their Raspberry Refresher. The drinks were pretty good (the shake was a little too sweet). I ate indoors but had to park across, as the parking situation + drive through seemed really congested. Service: Pretty quick when I came in to eat -- staff was very nice and walking around with the sauces as well. Ambience: Quirky, bright, and orange! Nice and clean inside. read more

Ok, I've been waiting about 3 months to finally be able to eat at this brand new Whataburger in Brentwood, TN. I noticed it when in town for a monthly visit, and only because Brentwood traffic made it impossible for me to get where I needed, so I had to drive out of my way to get there. And there it was. That WHATABURGER sign in the front yard, only to find that it wasn't open yet. So I waited. FINALLY the day came and I was able to visit. Yes, I could have visited the previous month, but the parking lot basically said "We're full. Try again later". I tend to wait until after the "A New Restaurant Has Opened" phase dies down so I don't need to battle a crowd. The very first thing I noticed: This Is A Small Whataburger. I think the kitchen-to-dining-room ratio is about 2 to 1. Seriously. 2/3 of the building is kitchen/storage, and the front 1/3 is dining room and restrooms. As I recall there are less than 10 tables in the dining area. There are two kiosks for ordering and a counter with two registers. I visited on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Monday was a bit busier, but I had no problems. On Monday I had the Jalapeño Cheese Burger meal and on Wednesday I had the Pico de Gallo burger. In both cases I was able to order at the counter (I despise fast food ordering kiosks) relatively quickly. Less than five minutes after entering I had my drink cup and waited for my food. The person who took my order was friendly and courteous and was able to answer any questions. For as short a time as this location has been open it's nice to see that the staff has the product information down. The kitchen is pretty well hidden away from customer view in this location. I'm pretty sure that's because of the way the existing building was when Whataburger took over. Less than 10 minutes after ordering my food arrived. It was hot and accurate. Whataburger's Spicy Ketchup is exactly what their fries need. The fries aren't remarkable, but the Spicy Ketchup gives it just what it needs. The (very small) dining room was relatively clean, but on both visits the trash bins were could have used some attention. On both visits I didn't see any urgency to clean up tables when they became unoccupied. I'm glad I'll be able to get Whataburger on my monthly visit to Brentwood. I'm sure that, once it gets on its feet, this Whataburger will be awesome. read more

Won't change your life but it's pretty good! This location is clean and friendly, could you ask for more?

The burger and fries were as expected. Customer service was decent and quick. They are a little out of the way from the interstate.

Last night we popped in after a concert. We placed our order on the kiosk for a burger, fries, onion rings, and a Dr Pepper shake. There were at least 4 employees working and they were mostly in the back room. The lobby was a little busy with people just waiting around and complaining about it taking so long. After nearly 30minutes, they called our order number. And upon inspection, we were missing the fries! Luckily, we hadn't left yet and we didn't have to wait more than a couple more minutes for them. First and most likely the last time I will eat at a Whataburger. The service was awful. The employees were slack-jawed mute zombies that only stepped up to help when I was about to walk out before ordering. The kiosks were about as useless as the employees since their touchscreens work about 25% of the time. And the food... The patty melt was good but too greasy. Fries good, Onion rings over-cooked and greasy and a regular cheeseburger was just regular. Don't bother here. read more

This is not the Whataburger experience from when we lived in TX. It would be difficult for the food to take any longer to come out. 20+ minutes for a burger every time we come here. Hopefully we see a management change and they figure things out. read more

Let's start with a good, the cheeseburgers were hot and fresh and some of the fries were hot and fresh. while other fries were not. The place was freezing on the inside, and according to the manager, they could not control this. It was done by corporate. I don't know where care, but it was uncomfortable to eat inside there. I ordered onion rings after my original order came and it took forever then they tried to charge me for ranch dressing so by the time I actually got the ranch dressing, The onion rings were gone. The Monterey burger is TERRIBLE !! Not as good as a BIG MAC and costs twice as much. Also it is NOT FAST FOOD since it takes 10 to 15 minutes to get from the drive thru. read more

Janina was an awesome server. Only 6 tables. Still the real deal and as good as the original in Corpus. Keep it up and hire more workers.

Fresh food, great flavors, nice team, clean and well played music, they ate open 24 hours. Personally, I loved it! The service was great, the food was delicious, tables were clean, definitely recommend!

Tiny store difficult to find & get in. Good for takeout only. Only a few tables for dine in. Poor location for the chain.

I'm consistently impressed how slow this location is. I can place a curbside order with a pick up of 4-7 min. Get to the location and still wait an extra 15 min before the order comes out. I don't understand how they're this bad. read more

Waited 30 minutes in the drive thru. The 8 cars behind me finally just drove away. Got home and found that several items I had paid for were not in the bag. Ridiculous experience which I will not repeat. If this is a franchise, then corporate should take it away. If a company store then management should be fired. They should call this place "What-a-Wait." I waited more than 35 min for my food. This was truly an embarrassment for all Whataburger restaurants. I could have gone to McDonald's to eat and thn Taco Bell for a second meal, then Jeni's ice cream for dessert in the time it took Whataburger to prepare my burger combo. I have been here twice. The first time the wait just to order was wayyyy to long during lunch hour. Tonight I came at 7:00 pm. It took forever to get my food. Heard a lady complain it was 35 min to get her food. The food was great. I won't wait this long again. There are too many choices to have such slow service. I hope they get it worked out. Only one star because the burgers were good like how whataburger usually is. This is the second time I went here, I really wanted to give it a chance that they had bad night or something. 20+minute wait BOTH times for the food both in person and in the drive thru. Mind you, this is with no one in front of me waiting for food and no line for drive thru. They forgot multiple items both times. The fries were really stale and cold. I've worked at a couple fast foods and restaurants, I understand the fries aren't always going to be super fresh but man this is like it had been sitting out for HOURS and not even kept warm in a heated tray/warmer. They only filled up the onion ring container about half full for a large, which I paid extra for a large so a waste of money. For a 15-20$ meal per person average this sucks. When inside the floor was nasty and oily? They seemed to have plenty of staff so understaffing doesn't seem to be the problem, it appears to be a management issue. Staff were friendly during interactions, I think that there just a huge huge need for competent/diligent managers and a bigger stress to make sure things are right the first time and if they aren't right then make it up to the customer. read more

absolutely terrible service and food. the drive through even at 2 pm today was a complete train wreck. the worst managed fast food restaurant I have ever seen. orders messed up, takes 30 minutes to get through the drive through and get even a simple order. will never go back. Whoever owns or manages this place obviously has never been in the fast food industry before. read more
