This location always sucks, I don't know why I keep trying. I've probably tried 5 times to eat here and everytime it sucks, from the quality to the timing of the drive thru, I'll just drive the distance if I ever want whataburger again. The manager "Taylor" obviously doesn't care either, she thinks it's funny to be bad at her job, no wonder the crew operates how it does. I was there for the very first time as I was passing through. I had the opportunity to interact with a few employees and manger(Halley), my wife and I had lunch. I'm a veteran and also a veteran of food service operations so I do have experience in this field. I joke with the employees to put them at ease before I get serious and asked what is good to eat and then I observe the cleanliness, operational of the establishment. 8:56 pm. Friday night. The line was long. The service was slow. They had both lanes opened, though. The quality was subpar. I won't be coming back. I ordered a Patty Melt with bacon and a small fry. There was an additional burger added and a dr. Pepper on the same ticket. We left, and I began to eat- the burger was bland, there wasn't much ghost pepper sauce, and the onions were scarce. To add insult to injury, not only was the burger not hot like I usually experience at other locations, when I called back for a refund, the manager for the night made us go to the B lane and pull around. We were, of course, STUCK in the lane as 3 cars were being served in front of us. We've waited almost ten minutes to leave already. I'm typing this review and waiting. Whenever she did bring the money out for the refund, it was or course only for the Patty Melt and small fry. The smaller burger was cold, so we just told her to throw it all in the trash. We kept the drink, but it'll be watered down by the time we get to another location. I understand the lobby may have just closed, but good management would've brought the refund out to the front and not made us waste our time in the line. As we got ready to place the order, someone told us that we'd have to wait until the software allowed them to take orders at 5 AM. It was 4:50 AM. They hire teens with bad attitudes. I ordered curbside because that location is really slow. I had 2 orders. I sat in curbside for 15 mins. I called and no one answered the phone. I went to the drivethru because I am disabled. I am at the window saying hello hello no answer so I pulled up. I waited for over 45 mins just to talk to someone. Many of them are hardworking,prompt,courteous and professional.Look at all the polite ,wonderful,sharp and hardworking teenage employees from down the street at Chick-fil-A. I don't know if a management problem or they simply do not pay enough to get quality young people to work for them. The service is is just awful. I would NOT recommend this location. The night manager who claims his name is "Bill" likes to argue with customers about incorrect orders! My husband and nephew ordered two #1s.
