Went to this WHATABURGER location on FM 1382 in Cedar Hill, Tx. The wait in the drive thru was ridiculously too long. When we get home I unwrap my burger and its smashed flat and the bun is burnt. I pulled up to the order box and heard a "What you want?" In a very monotone voice". I stated my order and got back a "What?" Stated back very rudely. I'm sure I said it loud and clear so I restated it. I kept getting cut off by the speaker but I'm sure it was just voice delay. The wait in the drive through was 25 -ish minutes. I believe she went by Miss Rose, but I have never been more impressed by a manager in the service industry more than I was by her As someone who previously worked at CFA, the customer service kings in my opinion, I could tell that it was busy (leaning towards hectic) in the kitchen But she ran register and food delivery so smoothly, AND maintained her composure so well in the process, that I couldn't resist writing a review in appreciation of her service The food took a little bit longer than I had hoped (really my fault for having a complicated order), but I really didn't mind just listening to her share her lovely attitude through her leadership If it was forced due to a busy environment, she definitely fooled me! Worse whataburger EVER! 11 mins in the drive through WITH tandem lines. Staff seems unbothered.

The service is super slow, and I had to repeat my order 3x - twice at the intercom and again at the window. I didn't repeat the order so that they could find it, but so that they could cook it. The fries were stale and small (they gave me a small/charged for a large) and my #1 with cheese/ketchup was all but thrown in my car. I had to ask for a straw. Good food... When ever I'm away from Texas this is the first place I stop on my way back into town. Other states try to imitate the yummyness but nothing compares to a what-a-burger with onions, Jalapeño, cheese and bacon. Idk where the buns come from but I crave them some time ;) The breakfast is really good too. I always get to Bacon taquitos and I love the salsa. They have cinnamon roll that I grab for breakfast or after late night drinking :) 24/7 drive thru hours makes this a great after the club spot! read more

Forget about the sitdown restaurants because this place has the best biscuits and gravy you've ever feasted upon. There is actually bits of sausage in the gravy! Who could ask for anything more? I am not crazy about their hamburgers because the patties are a little thin for my taste but they taste okay. But I am a breakfast fanatic and when I tell you the breakfast is good I'm not pulling your tail. The cokes are always good and bubbly and a bad coke will ruin my night real quick. This is easily one of the worst Whataburger's I have ever been. I went 3-4 times since I moved her back in December to give them chance after chance yet after the last time I refuse to go here anymore. Which I have NEVER done. The food is fine usually but the costumer service is absolutely atrocious every single time. What is it with Texans and Whataburger? The last time we tried Whataburger was in the early 1980's. We couldn't remember why we never went back. So, this time...bacon cheeseburger to go ordered without pickles or onions. Got home and, surprise, the burger was stone cold, the bacon was limp, and it was complete with pickles and onions. I'm writing this review as I sit trapped in the drive thru lane. I made the mistake of going to the outside lane #2. Lane 1 is moving a little more, but not much. There is NOTHING fast about this process. I will NEVER go through this drive through again. The lines at Chick-fil-A are usually long, but they move you through. Not at this Whataburger. I started the stopwatch on my phone out of curiosity. I'm at 18 minutes and there are still two cars in front of me. I really like Whataburger, but this is not fast food. I love Whataburger. If I don't want anything in particular to eat, Whataburger will do me no wrong. But this particular location is THE WORST I have ever been to. Even if there's no line, the food still takes forever. I can barely understand their staff (English speaking, no language barrier just "ghetto" accent) just rude and terrible. I just went through the drive thru here and it went very fast. It was mostly young teenagers working and admittedly I assumed it wasn't going to go well. My order did end up being wrong but when I went back through to have it fixed the young lady apologized many times and then returned with my correct order plus extra fries and an apple pie!
