This location needs some serious help. I placed an order online and it said it would be ready in 10-12 minutes. Great, that's exactly how far I am from Whataburger. When I pulled in and walked up to the counter, there was absolutely no one manning the cash register. After waiting several minutes I was asked if I've been helped yet. I mentioned an online order and several minutes later, got my drink. I waited a total of 15 minutes inside the store for an order that should have been ready by the time I arrived. What exactly is going on the last 27 minutes? Don't come here unless you have an abundance of time and even then it's probably not worth waiting this long for a burger as there are many other options nearby that won't take nearly as long to get your order. Imagine if I ordered at the counter or the drive through? I would be there for an eternity! This is more like slow food. A restaurant would serve up my food way quicker than them. read more

I really enjoy wataburger. I especially like like that's isn't open 24/7 ! But this location is the worst place I have ever been to. The the drive through wait is literally 48 minutes with just a few cars in line. I couldn't help but wait cause I was getting food for my girl who works nights at the Home Depot. I came here last night and ordered my food . The guy told me to go to lane B . 30 minutes into me waiting for my food he knocks on my window and says "aye this lane closed" . I've been waiting for 30 minutes and you decide to tell me that now? He takes my payment and bring back my card with a drink. I wait for another 30 minutes before I decide to go in and ask for a refund and then they finally gave me my food. Whoever the manager was on duty looked unhygienic like he hasn't showered in days. The workers were moving so slow and had loud music playing from headphones. Then the manager wanted to charge me extra for sauce that I already paid for that they forgot to put in the bag. To the GENERAL MANAGER.... Boy this Whataburger SUCKS! BAD....... First visit ever I got what looked like food cooked well. But didn't get my condiments that I asked for when handed a cardboard box ( no bag ? Wtf? I like my car interior.....!!!! The fact that it was already starting to sweat.. was maddening I was already assuming they prob weren't inside , But it's not my responsibility to HAVE to check. When I clearly asked 2 times , and at the window as he was giving me the food " I have Ketchup & BBQ?" His reply "Yes Ma'am..... " BULLSHIT. So tonight I go to recover my meal and I'll be God Damned.... This nasty pile of crap is pure proof this location has MAJOR ISSUES!! I've never had worse fries they are DISGUSTING! And this 1/2 raw 1/2 burned to a crisp then some mass never should have been packed up. And is that 2 1/2 tenders or a Frisco 3 count ??? The "toast" although burnt and wadded into the corner under the fries and rings both in the box ( bad idea) too much heat and extra steam.. was chewy I ate it. Tried the other items with 1 of my 6 ketchups and 3 bbq sauces! Tried being the key word.. YUCK. How about I bring it for your breakfast in a couple hours?? I'm not even asking for another redo. I WILL stop by for my cash though, and I can promise I'll NEVER eat there again. And you should probably reschedule your truck to not show up after 1am on a Saturday morning.... Complete and utter trash. Waited 30 minutes for saltless fries and the wrong burger. My bad for not checking it before driving off but I needed to get out of there. My kids had gotten restless in the back and we needed to roll. Ordered no pickles, no mustard, add BBQ, side jalapeno ranch. Got a burger with pickles, mustard, and jalapeños.... And no BBQ. This location at DNT is awful. It started at ordering. One person started taking my order. Then no one answered for a few minuets and then another voice repeats my order and doesn't mention the dry/plain part (again this is for my teenager daughter who loves plain and dry burgers). I then say: and plain and dry. I go to the second line to wait. The young gentleman arrives to take my payment and brings the drink. I say: can I have regular ketchup please? He replies: sure ma'am. After a few minutes he brings me back the food and of course doesn't bring the ketchup. Ugh! At this point I want to leave because I'm in a rush like most days. I decide to wait a few more minutes for the ketchup. I see him come out thinking he is bringing the packets of the stupid ketchup. Nope. He forgot and went to another car. So I leave. I don't care. We have ketchup at home. I arrive home and give the food to my daughter. Seconds later she screams: Did you order it plain and dry??? I reply: YES!!! If I could give less than one star, I would. Pulled up in main drive thru with one car ahead of me at the order box. They took orders from 5 cars in the second lane that came up after me before taking order of the guy ahead of me. When they finally took my order, they were already delivering food out to the second lane of cars that arrived after me. 25 minutes in line before I got my order and then half of it was wrong, including the drinks. I have been eating a Whataburger for 50 years.The last 10 years the burgers have been cold and the meat looks and taste like it's been cooked the night before. I don't know what type of burger I'm going to get per location.I know when I go to In and Out I will get a hot hamburger. Nobody can't beat whataburger when it's been fresh off grill. This place has often gotten my order wrong. For a place with a reputation of making custom burgers, you'd think they can nail that down. Today was the last straw. I had to repeat my order three times. When I got the receipt it was clear that Anavel L still didn't get it right. The burger wasn't what I ordered, the fries were cold, and the sweet tea turned out to be Coke. You screwed me over for the last time. I will never eat at ANY WhataLoadOfCrap again. Any store with declining business should blame it on this one. For the record, I did immediately call the manager. Steve Villarreal said he wasn't aware of a woman working the drive-thru, and said to just swing by sometime to get a replacement. I'm sorry, but that sounds like bad management and doesn't make things right. I drove away with an order that's completely wrong, and will go uneaten.
