On 9/7/25 at 2:35pm, I visited Sonic and was not given the advertised Snappy Hour price of $1 between 2-5pm. The associate insisted the price was $1.99 until 3pm, and when I suggested verifying, she was dismissive and rude. This was disappointing since Snappy Hour is the reason I visit Sonic. I will not return to this location, but I recommend staff receive better training on promotions and customer service, as customers should be treated with respect. read more

Always takes forever to get your order, especially at night. For example, my brother and I did an online order for two medium cherry slushies, probably around 11 pm. After waiting 30 minutes, we called the store and told them we had checked in and been waiting. The worker apologized and said he'd bring them right out. He did, and they were half melted. Probably made way before they were brought to us, just sitting out until we called. 30 minutes for two slushies....its like this every time and it makes me wonder what the hold up is read more

This Sonic has horrible customer service, especially at night. The employees take forever to respond on the intercom and rush you through your order and hang up without saying anything. No confirmation of whether they are bringing the orders out or anything. They just expect you to sit there and wait as they magically show up on their own time. The attitudes of the employees here is awful and truly makes this place unpleasant to visit. Can't say I recommend going to this location it's not worth the frustration. Go somewhere else that has quality service because this location is not up to part and quite frankly needs a remedial training on customer service skills and overall better management. read more

Pretty disappointed in my experiences here. I would say their service is not comparable to other Sonics. And it's consistently the same. There are several Sonics in the area, so go to a different one. I ordered through the app (if your not, your doing it wrong). Checked in immediately when I got there. It said it was on it way to be delivered and 10 minutes later nothing. The screen was ready for a new customer so I called in and asked about my order that had never been delivered. They apologized and 5 minutes later I finally got my order, which was just a sweet tea. Drove off to find out it was unsweet tea which tasted TERRIBLE! I was irritated it took so long but if I had been told they were short staffed or something I would've understood. Then to get a very easy order wrong brought me to this review. Tried to go to drive through and sat there for 5 minutes and nobody asked to take order so we pulled up to window and sat behind a car another 5 minutes and never saw any movement near the window so we pulled into a stall and pushed button and waited 5 minutes and no response so I tried to walk in and she told me go back to my car or go through drive thru and I told her o tried twice. The same car was still sitting at the drive through window and think it was a kid that worked there. We tried one more stall and left after no response for another 5 minutes. There were multiple hairs in my Mozzarella sticks, as well as a weird piece of plastic baked into it. Gross. Our burger orders were wrong, no onions and pickles requested on both and both came with onions and pickles. They have this weird new system where you have to order on your phone, which is slow and inconvenient. Signage was missing and it was confusing. Overall gross and inconvenient. read more

I wanna hear about 130 and there was only a few cars there, so I figured I'd be able to get in and out pretty quickly. Press the button to talk to the people and give my order and waited a few minutes and nothing happened. I looked at the screen, and it says that press the button to order and so I pressed it again about five minutes later still nothing happened wasn't very many cars there but one of the guys was gone in and out a few times delivering orders. I was kind of on a tight schedule so I had to leave. I called him on my way out and asked him if they were open or if they were taking orders, and Sergio told me that they were open and taking orders, and I asked why nobody took my orders, and he told me That the stall that I was at was not working. I asked him if he could put a out of order sign on it so people don't waste 10 minutes waiting for order in install that is incapable of taking your order. Please tell me that they are not allowed to mark or put any signs on any of The kiosk at all. I asked him if anybody was ever planning on stopping by and telling me that the store wasn't working and he said no because they were working on getting it working at the time. I don't see how that is relevant if you're working on something to take care of a customer, but it's not working go ahead and tell the customer to move stalls. Also, I don't buy them. He's not allowed to put an out of order sign on any of the kiosk because she knows all the time is sonic, I don't want to see that sonic is right at 25% and it seems about right. I've rarely felt the urge to leave a review on a restaurant... but good grief, this was awful. The only reason I would give it one star is the carhop gentleman was very nice and polite. The food was AWFUL. For some reason they decided to take the mayo and tomato off my sandwich but left on this nasty soggy grey lettuce. My son's cheese sandwich was burnt an even dark brown on both sides. Unfortunately I only saw all this after we had reached our hotel. At least the chicken poppers came out okay. This location is terrible. Moved from west Frisco and went to Sonic on Main & 423 almost every week for 5yrs. The Frisco street & Eldorado location tells me every visit they can't understand me- the speaker is broke. I select a different bay every time. However when I called back and ordered a sonic blast no hearing problems. They also don't honor Tuesday 1/2 price burger night. I've had to tell them and they challenge me. I will be trying the Preston rd Sonic as the kids running the Frisco St & Eldorado location are rude and don't want to honor discounts. I blame this on the owner read more

Carhops are great! We ordered through the app and picked up snacks and drinks, waited less than 5 min. Left and realized they forgot an item in our order (the one thing we happened to go specifically to Sonic for that day but whatever). Went back through the drive through to let them know. Was told "yeah we're actually out of those", ??? When asked if we can get a refund we were told "there's a phone number on the receipt, there's nothing we can do about it." Only number there is the store number :) We asked if we could get something else from the menu instead, and person literally ignored us and stopped talking. Granted it's been a while since I've been to Sonic, but I remember the quality being so much better. Maybe they've found a new supplier for their food, just wasn't fresh tasting? Chicken Strips were elementary school cafeteria level, and even the Sonic Blasts and milkshakes tasted like it had artificial sweetener.
