I was never a devotee of H2O burger ( don't care for jalapenoss on burgers) ,but I decided to take a chance. We came here on a busy Sunday night. Everywhere was packed with one Italian restaurant telling us it would be a 2.5 hour wait for a table. We decided to try Whataburger since we are visiting from out of town. The counter service greeted us immediately and was so friendly. We waited over 30 minutes for our order but had shakes and drinks while we waited and it was fine. The Dr Pepper shake is only for a limited time but it is so good! read more

Although generally I have 4 and 5 star experiences at this Whataburger and post those experiences of one of my favorite places. Friendly, clean, orders are filled quickly, and accurately. This was not the case today. TODAY 2 STARS. The young associate simply unaware to what happens to burgers left to sit. And NO ONE TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO CHECK ON THE ONLY VEHICLE SITTING IN CURBSIDE SPOT for 13 minutes before I went in. I ordered curbside online. Ready between 1:15pm and1:20pm. I arrived 8 minutes early. Checked in. The only vehicle in curbside. Not as busy as usual. 4 associates saw me throughout the time I was there. We made eye contact; orange shirts and white shirts alike. At 1:26 I went in to check on my order. The young associate hands me a burger from the warmer. Told her I didn't want a cold burger. Assured me it had only been a moment. Figured I could have miss identified the bag sitting around for10 minutes or more so I accepted it. Nothing like a SOGY BUN FLATER THAN A TORTILLA WITH ONE PILE OF WARM PICKELS 5 PIECES HIGH, (made a delightful mush of the bun from the juice) WILTED WARM LETTUCE, AND MUSTARD THAT HAD TIME TO SOAK IN. *Updated Review* I originally rated this location 5 stars because it was the first time I had issues there and it was resolved the best they could. It has been 2 months since my original review and things have gotten much worse. So the first time went through the drive through a couple minutes ago and ordered a #5 on Toast with creamy pepper. Unfortunately I didn't clarify I wanted everything else on the burger as well, so I came back to get it fixed. Super frustrating. The next time I went I ordered a patty melt and waited to eat it until I got home. I shouldn't have. The bread wasn't even toasted. What a disappointment. The next time I went the cashier didn't say anything about my rewards app and kept walking away when I tried to present my phone to scan. He then finally said he couldn't do it because he had already pushed the transaction through. Overly annoying especially because this was my 5th visit to a Whataburger and I was supposed to get my reward. Finally, today, I order my burger, pull up to the first window where the signs "pay at this window" are up. I wait probably about 5 minutes until a hand starts waving at me. I pull up, present my phone and the girl refuses to scan my phone because she says "she can't touch my phone"...after informing her I'm aware of that and she can just scan it she again repeats that she can't touch my phone...at this point I've had it. I asked to speak to the manager and she just blankly stares at me until I repeat "I'd like to speak to a manager" again, to which she responds with an eye roll and a window slam. The treatment like I'm stupid when you don't get the concept of YOU DONT HAVE TO TOUCH MY PHONE TO SCAN IT is so mind boggling it actually hurts my head - which even the manager apparently didn't get. On top of all that, I was nice afterwards, said thank you, told her to have a good day, to which I got yet another window slam in my face. The lack of service, the overall ineptitude etc. that is a repeated and seemingly permanent theme here is ridiculous. I have been understanding up to this point but the way I was treated today through the drive through is the main reason why I will NEVER come back. Avoid this location at ALL COSTS. read more

This is my WORST experience at a Whataburger I will never be back. We have been in the drive thru lane for 30 minutes.. cars in front and back cannot move. I called them and they said we will have to wait another 10 minutes. This is ridiculous I do not recommend this place to anyone. Wanted to update. Called their customer service line the lady I spoke to was great, she said she would have a manager call me. Three hours later I get a template email from a "manager" no explanation or anything just saying they will give me a free meal if I come back. What a joke. To whom it may concern, I would like to share my terrible experience at this Whataburger location. I went to this location to sit down and have a nice meal with friends. After finishing up, I drove back home. I then realized that I had left my phone at this establishment. I made a call to this location in order to inquire about the location of my phone. I was very polite over the phone when speaking to Diana C. about finding my phone. However, she decided to respond in a rude manner exclaiming "We found a phone, it's not yours, good bye!" while proceeding to hang up in my face. I then called back to give more details about the whereabouts of my phone, which was met with more rude responses once again, but then the phone was found in the exact location I continously described. After Diana realized that she had been mistaken, she was still very dismissive and proceeded to hang up again. I then made my way back to the location to go retrieve my phone and came face to face with Diana C. She was still being very rude to me and my friend when we were just trying to reclaim our property. She raised her voice, and then I responded in a heightened tone. Diana C told me she would call law enforcement because I was apparently "causing a disruption" and I responded by saying "go ahead and call them, I've done nothing wrong". After a delay, I finally received my phone back and went home. I do not believe that people like Diana C. should be working in food service with the poor level of decorum she showed towards me, a paying customer. I remained calm and composed all the way up until she started to act rudely and decide to call law enforcement over me simply reclaiming my property. This is egregious and I hope the Whataburger corporate office is able to remedy this terrible experience that was at the fault of one of its employees so that no one else has to deal with that. read more

Food with a Attitude!! The food is horrible and the costumer service is worse! Came to this location to pick up breakfast for the family and was treated like I was asking for free food. Linda T. the cashier greeted me with a dirty look and a wachuwant?! Then when I finally received my order and asked for ketchup she rolled her old eyes at me so hard I though she was having seizure. Not sure if she's having bad day or bad life but keep that mess at home or find job where you don't have interactions with other humans. I hate this particular store. Don't get me wrong, I still love Whataburger and no matter how hard this store tries my patience, I will not old it against the chain itself. Reasons I hate this store: 1) The service is always rude 2) The food always takes an obscenely long time to get to you 3) Their soda tends to be flat 4) Their parking lot is tiny 5) Their bathrooms are disgusting So why do I keep coming back? Location, location, location. It is just so conveniently located near the hospital that I trick myself into thinking that a quick pit stop won't slow me down. And yet, I'm inevitably held back longer than anticipated and I end up late to my next destination. I cannot count how many times I've been late to class or work because I just wanted a quick snack. After today's 12 minute wait (yep, I timed it) for a chicken biscuit, I think I'm done giving them second chances. read more

I am so glad to see this location has been reviewed. It just proved that I'm not completely crazy in having disdain for this particular Whataburger. The thing I don't understand is, why is it so hard to follow directions? All I want is a hamburger. Not a cheeseburger. Not a bacon cheeseburger. And not whatever special combo burger you're hawking this month. JUST A HAMBURGER! No matter how many ways I phrase it, this Whataburger never seems to get it right. I mean, even when ordering the combo that doesn't COME with cheese, they still manage to add it on - the average joe would be pleased to be getting an infusion of cheese for free, but I am not amused. Is it against the law in Texas to not have cheese on your hamburger????? You wouldn't believe the number of places I have problems.... Anyway, no matter what time of day I go here, lunch, early dinner, overnight, they always get something wrong. Overnight, when I usually get a hankering for beef, the food never seems to be hot. Oh wait, I lied - the only thing hot in the bag is the evil cheese that has melted all over my sandwich. And it takes forever, even when there's no line! Its extremely frustrating - I have to save up patience for months before I can attempt to come back here and order because I know every time I going to be annoyed when I leave. Things are turning around or I was just lucky. Line was backed up to the road and was in and out of the drive thru in less than 15-20 minutes. Order taking was smooth, at the window went flawless. The Manager James is extremely inattentive and, for lack of better words, an idiot. When I was ordering for four people he stopped me to ask me why I was ordering so much food and then told me I ordered enough when I pondered whether I should add a few things. He then took my money and proceeded to somehow lose my order. After waiting about a half an hour for my number to be called I asked about it. I've been coming to this whataburger for upwards of a year now, but the last interaction just left a bad taste in my mouth. Ordered a double meat whataburger with extra cheese, plain and dry. They forget the plain and dry part and put everything on it. Fine, people make mistakes and I'm not upset by this at all. What I am upset by is what happened when I went back to fix my order. I stood in line for 30 minutes (not whataburger's fault!) However, when I get to the cashier, I tell him about his mistake and do you know what he does? Whataburger takes my burger back and literally picks the lettuce, tomatoes, onions off of my original burger and hands it back to me. I'm now sitting with a STONE COLD BURGER that's been traveling with me for the 5 minute car trip to my apartment + 5 minute car trip back + 30 minute wait in line with extra cheese that's not melted onto the patty. This is absolutely unacceptable. How difficult is it to make me a new burger? read more

Live right down the road and go here all the time because it's close to the house. But they seem to mess my order up literally every time I go except first thing in the morning when they have the A team working. But if you go in the afternoon the got the full idiot team working. Always a good choice. We chose this location as reviews indicated dine in options were available. Our food didn't take long, and it was great. I've added a couple menu pictures, although the app provides the wide range of options and prices. They also offer a rewards program through the app and I got a free burger just for signing up. The server, Makayla, was top notch! She was hard at work multitasking, taking orders, and delivering them curbside. Another cool option enables ordering via app. Glad we paid this place a visit. It took 45 minutes to receive food from the drive-thru. We were asked to pull to the front and wait for our food. One of the workers walked out and quit as I was waiting for the food. We eventually had to go inside with the receipt to get our order. The food was hot when we got it, so the kitchen could be the problem. I hope this issues gets fixed soon! read more

I've gone to this what a burger a couple of times, giving it the benefit of the doubt, but honestly, every single time I've bought from here, I've gotten sick afterwards, they have an older lady in the night crew who seems to have bad attitude, I got my food and ate it, about an hour and a half later I started getting sick, it creeped up on me and I've been feeling sick since then, their food is okay but served it not as hot as one would expect, I'm not going back to this place as this stomachache I've got hass been going since last night.
