I don't like doing reviews. Especially on fast food. But EVERY SINGLE TIME I come to this location, they mess something up from my order. They charge you for what you order and give you something different. Been here three times the last few weeks but the fist time I got a honey butter chicken biscuit instead of a SEC biscuit, second time I ordered ranch and didn't get it, this time I ordered a large meal, got the large drink but not the fry. Every single other time I've been here they mess it up too. Don't put the toast for the chicken strips, don't include your hashbrown, give you one less chicken strip or put very few mushrooms on the mushroom burger. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't understand. And living out here where McDonalds and whataburger are the closest food options. I already don't like McDonald's. So whataburger is always the go to. Sloooowest drive thru in the world. Even if you are only getting a drink it takes at least 5-10 minutes of sitting at the window. There used to be a young guy with glasses at the drive thru window that kept things moving a little quicker but I haven't seen him a while. One star is generous. I have received rotten iced tea 3 times in a row the last visits and my visit tonight was enough that I had to review the place. This is the closest whataburger to my house so I come here on occasion when seeking whataburger food. Unfortunately this whataburger is not the same as the others. The food never tastes the same as the others and they are so slow bringing the food out. What prompts me to finally write a review is tonight I waited for a very long time for fast food and they did bring the food out but then I waited an additional amount of time for my drinks. I am actually a big fan of Whataburger - I have been for years. But I have been fighting them. Whataburger Corporate says that a Bacon Cheese Whataburger has three slices (or six strips) of bacon. This place on DB Wood never gives me all the bacon unless I ask for it "on the side." I get maybe 4 or 5 strips of paper thin short strips of bacon. When I take it back and complain, they remake it with no backlash, but why can't it be made right in the first place? I can only imagine that this place saves money by shorting every customer who orders bacon. Except that are losing money every time people like me demand that I get what I paid for. I had a brilliant idea today. From now on, I am bringing my own bacon and just ordering a Cheese Whataburger. No more over priced, paper thin, limp bacon. This is the most inaccurate Whataburger we've ever visited. We have learned that before driving off to check every burger and order to make sure burgers were made correctly and that each meal has every item it is supposed to have. I give them 3 stars because once they botched the order and it was before we became experienced with this location and didn't realize the problems until we got all the way home. We called and spoke to the manager who was polite and apologetic. He told us he would replace our order at no charge on our next visit - because we didn't want to drive back up there that same day. The next visit, they replaced the order free of charge just as promised. The other time, we checked the order and one of the kids meals didn't come with a cookie, while the other did. I went in with my receipt and they apologized and gave us 2 cookies. I will be happy to update my review if their accuracy improves because the food is decent for fast food. read more

I like the food at Whataburger. It is never actually "fast food", but usually reasonable. The food is a little more expensive than most comparable restaurants. I don't mind because when it is done right, it is good. Today I went through the drive thru and his time it wasn't too bad time wise. Unfortunately, most of the food was incomplete. We had 2 orders of fries that was only half full. The same went for 2 orders of onion rings. This used to be a very clean and well run Whataburger restaurant and favorite gathering place for many. Now however it has really gone downhill!..in terms of cleanliness and food prep/quality. Went there for breakfast this morning....the lady that took my order was friendly and nice. The food arrived timely. The tortilla on the breakfast taco was crisp instead of soft like it had been left out for a while. All this was minor until I walked in to the men's restroom! It was atrocious! The urinal was "out of order" with a paper sign taped to it. The urinal was full and overrunning with urine. The floor was wet with "everything", but they did have a cone warning of a wet floor...really!! I went in to the stall hoping I could use it and it was filthy as well. The entrance doors and glass are dirty and smudged and the parking lot is littered with whataburger bags, straws, plastic forks and spoons. If you like a clean well run restaurant with good food this is NOT the place for you!! read more

On Sunday December 15, 2019 @12:50 PM, I drove through the drive through and ordered 3 combo meals and 3 pies for dessert. When I got home, and we finished eating our burgers, I realized that the pies had not made it into my bag. I attempted to call to see about getting a refund on my card, but was unable to get anyone to answer. I then waited and called back around 4:00 PM, and spoke with a gentleman who was unable to find the order even though I was reading it directly from the receipt. Finally a young woman got on the phone and was able to find the order, however she said that I would need to stop by for a refund since that drawer had already been counted. I had already been given this option by the young man I spoke with, however, this option would probably have cost me as much in gas as the refund would have been, not to mention the time it would have taken. Nothing against the people I spoke with, but Wataburger needs a better way of processing a refund. I will be patronizing other businesses in the future, they can keep the couple of dollars it cost for the pies. read more

The WORST Whataburger in Texas. Run/managed very badly. You're guarenteed to wait 20 minutes to get your food. We noticed that 50% of the time the order was wrong. Not sure why it doesn't just close down. Came here on a Sunday evening around dinner time to retrieve a large meal to bring back to my family. Put in a very complicated order and waited an understandable amount of time for our drinks to come at which point we gave our very polite and helpful server, Langston our credit card, we waited an understandable amount of time when wonderful Langston returned with our card and shortly thereafter; our food. We checked our bags and everything was correct except for one minor error. Our apple pie was missing. NO BIG DEAL. I went back in there and asked for it and helpfully and very respectfully Langston grabbed one and gave it to me. Langston did a great job but unfortunately his manager started chastising him in front of everybody and it made me really sad. I just want to make it very clear that Langston is an excellent server and he does not deserve to be condemned so harshly for such a minor mistake during such a busy time. Thank you. read more

Went there this evening for supper. Ate inside. Wife said, "I only want lettuce, pickles and mayo on my burger. She hates mustard. Went to get drinks. Root Beer was out. Took a long time to tell someone because there was a line of people complaining about messed up or slow orders. Got a Coke and sat down. There was hardly anyone in the place. Meal was delivered to us 15 minutes later. Both burgers had mustard on them. Both burgers were cold. Mine was so cold the cheese wasn't melted, it looked as if they got the cheese out of the fridge and slapped it on the burger! Fries were cold.
