I have updated this post from 2 stars to 4 stars. 1) I did take my whole order back, and got it prepared correctly. 2) the patty melt is NOT made with American cheese, like the female stated. 3) the do-over was DELISH!!! Jakiya the cashier that helped us place our order was extremely rude! She never smiled never welcome us to whataburger she made our ordering experience horrible. The manager I believe brought us our food he was really nice! The food was ok the temperature could have been hotter but over all ok for 2 to dine for $20 just wish the cashier would actually act like she want to be there if not quite don't make everyone that's happy to be at whataburger miserable like you! read more

Oh, Whataburger. I love this location. My friends and I went here a whole lot during high school. We'd sit in the back corner booth (on the drive-thru side) and fight over who had to sit with their arm against the wall (it has a spiky texture to it that scrapes your elbows and severely impedes fry dipping ability). We'd slam our #1's (or,if we were lucky, the A-1 Thick & Hearty aka The Best Burger In Existence). This location is consistent every time. Perfectly cooked burgers, nice crispy fries (never limp or cold) and quick service no matter when you come. They have the servers bring you your food, and they also bring a tray or ketchup, napkins, straws and mints that you can pick from as well. What more could you want? So next time you head on over there, slip into that corner booth (after your friend, so that he gets the spiky side) and enjoy the best Whata-B in Houston. PS - To settle the argument - In-N-Out, while delicious, cannot keep up with Whata-B and the A-1T&H. Sorry if the truth hurts. read more

So I need some carbs and trans fat right, i want a mean burger, where else to go but whataburger. You know how you dont know what u want and tell the employee on the intercom give u a min. Pretty good if you must get fast food. David introduced me to this "fancy ketchup" .....my conclusion is that it tastes just like regular ketchup, it just comes in its own dipping trey. I guess that's what makes it fancy...huh. read more

Please read all the way through. Original post stems from a bad experience at Wendy's. This review speaks volumes of this Whataburger location. First time at the local WENDYS. Arrived at 12:30 am after a long night at the hospital... You know we're right near the med center after all. Pulled up to the drive through, sat and waited for about two minutes perusing my options on the menu and then *click* the lights go out...pull forward to the pick up window and make eye contact with an employee at which point I smile and nod. No acknowledgment. Finally after another 2 minutes of my awkward stare, her supervisor sees me out of the corner of her eye and opens the window. I ask, "are you guys still open?" Her response... "actually we're trying to close..." At which point I respond with oh okay, should I just go to Whataburger? Well yeah if you don't mind..." Point of the story is I ended up going to Whataburger down the street (9955 Main St Houston, TX) and it was delicious, fast, and welcoming. Told the woman at the pick up window briefly what happened and I received a warm "welcome to texas!". Will never go to that Wendy's again but recommend this WHATABURGER. read more

Service is usually good/okay. Unfortunately I just used their drive thru and I saw one on the male workers put his hands in his pants and keep them there, while walking around the drive thru window area. I never saw him was his hands. I think that's gross and unsanitary. read more

Consistent terrible service. Just now is a perfect example. After only telling one part of my order, I was cut off by the employee with the total, and when I said there was more to my order, she took an annoyed tone THEN, after telling her the rest of my order, she tells me to hold on So I sit there for a minute, until she finally comes on the intercom in the same annoyed tone and tells me I can pull forward, as if I was an idiot for just sitting there Didn't even look at me when I got to the window, and to top it off, I had asked for no onions and it almost seems like they put extra onions. read more

I gotta have a Whataburger whenever I am in a place that has them, I had the #1 Whataburger meal, I asked the gal running the register if the burger came with Mayo, she said "no" so I said "that's good" I'll have that ...I ended up with Mayo.....go figure. Horrible service through drive-thru after 2am. Females are rude as ever. They have you waiting forever to take your order then get mad when you ask questions or take longer! Not to mention the food wasn't fresh and they forgot the condiments that I asked for twice! No sympathy for the long wait or for messing up your order! Its Whataburger what's not to love. Food is great. Staff friend. But those restrooms are horribly!!!!!

My cousin and I loved our meal. My bacon and cheddar burger was so good and juicy. I didn't say no onions but they were big enough to take off. My cousin forgot to tell me about the onions, but that was okay. I enjoyed the selection of food and desserts. The combos are about the same as going to a McDonald's or a Jack In The Box but I feel I got more food for the the price. The burger sizes are bigger too. I got an apple pie and a sugar cookie, and the cookie was soft and delishes. The apple pie was tasty as well, but if it were a bit fuller it would of been better. Overall though we loved the food. My cousin ate half her burger so fast...lol The fries were fresh and very hot loved that. We came around 8pm or so. Kind of a late dinner, and it was great the quality of the meal did the not suffer with the late time frame. It was still fresh, hot, and good. read more

I have been to several Whataburger's, and they are at the top of my favorite fast food list. We stopped at this location late at night after leaving the rodeo. Employees were cleaning as we ate, and the employees that I had contact with were nice. My food was good and up to whataburger's standard. Good visit, I would eat there again! read more

came to Houston for Beyoncè/Jay-Z ONTRll tour. everyone bragged on how good these burgers was, so i decided to try it. inside was clean, bathroom was very clean as well. Service was Excellent. now on to those "oh so good burgers" !! that's a NEGATIVE. i got the cheese burger wit bacon. Bread was hard as ever and burger was just as basic as could be. i didn't enjoy that burger AT ALL !! fries were fresh but very basic as well. i MOST DEF won't ever be back here, yuck !! can't believe someone compared this place to Shake shack or In and Out.
