Had to give into the hype of this new burger place that came to Atlanta. If I had taken a bite from this burger with my eyes closed I would think I was eating a Burger King whopper. Taste was very similar and also looks. Fries were similar to McDonald's. Coke was very sweet as if it had extra syrup. If you want a whopper with McDonald's fries then this is you place. I hope it's just start up pains but my first experience at Whataburger in Kennesaw, Ga was awful. It was 3pm in the afternoon, only 3 cars in the drive thru so I thought it was a good time to check it out. I ordered a #1 burger, sandwich only. Had been stalling because of the long drive from our house but totally worth it. Everything I love about whataburger in Texas here in Georgia. Order was made perfectly and fresh, not much of a line at all (but it's 4 on a weekday). What a disappointment! This store just opened on woodruff Rd in Greenville, SC . Lines were insane, must be really good right? WRONG! . We didn't want to wait in the drive through line so we parked and went in. You can only order through a kiosk, not one person to help the kiosk challenged people. Waited 45 minutes for the order to come out only to get home with it to find out they messed up the order.$30 FOR 2 whataburgers with onion rings. , the one burger i added on fried onions (showed on the receipt) . You can drive to the store, buy meat, vegetables, flour, water, egg, vegetables, hit up Home Depot for a grill, drive home, bake buns, unpack and set up the grill, and grill the burgers faster than a single order is filled here if there is more than one person in line. read more

Nothing special! Just like any typical fast food place. I was assuming it was the best burger on the planet the way the media hyped it up. The fries taste like McDonald's fries. The burger looked similar to a Whopper, just larger. The only difference is the fact that they use mustard on burgers instead of ketchup. They used chopped onions on the burger similar to the Varsity onions. And the "spicy" ketchup wasn't that spicy. It was just meh for me. But to each its own. read more

Not as good as back home. My fries were cold . Not even warm. I ordered three burgers and they all came in separate bags and were also cold. Nothing was cooked fresh. Horrible mistake! They are doing assembly line cooking already. I was sooooo excited but now soooo disappointed. I don't mind waiting while you cook. I don't eat McDonald's so why take on their prep model. Yuck. It's a burger, and an average burger at that. I had the jalapeño cheese burger which had a nice kick but not a lot else. Not a fan of the big chopped lettuce. I guess you can customize things but when you're already paying $6 for an average burger do you want to keep adding more money? And the fries they delivered to use were cold, so they were not good. Whataburger?-- more like what-the-f*** burger. I did not receive what I asked for. I did not get cheese on my burger when I asked for it, and the sweet tea was rotten. The line is way too long for customers to be this dissatisfied. The wait was 1.5 hours. I would be okay with the wait if I got what I asked for and if my drink was not rotten. We live in the south. Fresh sweet tea should be a given. My fries went cold before I got home. The fries go cold faster than McDonald's fries. I hate bacon, and for some reason, they gave me a bacon burger when I never asked for that or ever mentioned bacon. These burgers are almost equivalent to McDonald's burgers in terms of how compressed and flat their overall presentation is. Very mediocre fast-food (slow-food if you ask me). It's overhyped due to it being a new location. Don't worry if you have FOMO. You are not missing out on anything special. It is not worth the gas, wait or money. read more

And I'm glad I did my family and loved the white chocolate raspberry shake it's only available at what a burger for a limited time the fries were excellent we did have some problems like missing an order of fries and salad dressing but other than that. So this place is wall to wall packed on the weekends. The parking lot is small and difficult to find a space. Inside people circle and are always looking for tables while their companion is in line to order. The food was ok, with all the customizations they offer you would expect them to get it right, wrong. They messed up 2 out of the 3 burgers we ordered and actually added a fouth burger we didn't order. After waiting so long we just made the best of it and moved on. Don't get you hopes up for the location, all hype and they do deliver on anything besides hot fries. read more

Waited about 20 minutes in drive thru and had to look up food items on the menu using our phones but we ended up getting the sweet and spicy burger meal, a cobb salad, Whatachick'n® Strips 2 Piece Kid's Meal, a chocolate chip cookie, Dr. Pepper Shake, sweet tea, and lemonade. All for about $30. THE FOOD IS GREAT! After biting into that sweet and spicy burger...my oh my! Very delicious! The salad was on point, tried a bite of the chicken strips and they were juicy, and the cookie reminded me of Jimmy Johns' cookies (FIRE)! We will be back! Why did it take 5 mins to get one medium coke? We got our food quickly but had to wait for one drink? Why couldn't they give our food and drink at the same time like all other fast food restaurants? The car behind us got their food and drinks at the same time and was ready to leave but since we were waiting on our drink and we were blocking them in they had to wait too. One car said they could not wait any longer for their drinks and took off! When we asked about our drink the young lady said " I don't handle drinks" so basically she's saying that it's not her job which was the WRONG answer. Employees need to be retrained on how to provide customer service and work as one team. HORRIBLE idea to have separate food and drink runners. Maybe If the employees would spend less time chatting and cuttin up at work things would flow more smoothly. Also those taking orders need to pay attention or learn their colors. My vehicle was brown and my receipt said silver. Not even close. Also, their honey butter chicken biscuit is a joke they give you a nugget rather than a tender. We got home and unwrapped our biscuits and as one can see from the picture top pic of the nugget size chicken should not have even been used. CONSISTENCY PEOPLE!! January 16th the dine in is suppose to open?? Lord help us all. Last night 12/8 I took a passenger to Whataburger for her 1st time and I've never had such a bad experience. All I ordered was 2 large shakes, chocolate and strawberry but I got chocolate and vanilla, so that was wrong. She ordered triple burger with cheese, lettuce and tomato. No pickles! Well she got her burger with pickle and no lettuce or tomatoes. Plus a large vanilla shake. We waited over 20 minutes for just our shakes after she had got her wrong food. Then to top it off one of the employees was being so darn rude. After they make you wait you could see her saying to the other employees things that I was upset because I had to wait for my shakes. I had opened my car door and was just about to confront this rude girl but the manager came out and said miss you can't do that, instead of being on the customers side. I'm old but believe me I'll defend myself. So it was the worse ever! read more

Always good food, always quality service. You may not be familiar with this particular burger establishment as they're coming in from Texas. Great food at a reasonable price. They're training is obviously a high priority. The morale of their employees is much higher than a lot of the other area places. All of their stores are new, so they are very clean. read more
