Went here last night right before 11pm to get chocolate milkshake and sides,cashier tells me we only have vanilla. WTH?? With that told me managers and employees are not doing their job. First thing is that this Whataburger is the only one I frequent and there is one not 5 minutes from my house in Heights! No matter what you order here it's always hot, fresh, and correct. Now you may have to wait a few minutes because they usually have a line of cars, but I'll wait if it means that I'm going to leave with a smile! I just ordered the New "Sweet & Spicy" burger meal, I've had it a few times. Let me just say that it was Amazing as it should be and it always is at the Killeen location. Enjoy y'all! read more

Absolute worst burger and fries. Don't even bother stopping at this place. Visiting family in Killeen and decided to run through drive up. Got home with our order, the fries were stale and burger a soggy mess. Only had a 5 min drive home too. A real disappointment as I had never been to a Whataburger before. This is a nightmare. I'm blocked in, in the drive thru. And I've been waiting for an insane amount of time.

I think all of my Whataburger reviews should be the same, because it's really the only chain I've been to where both the food and the employees are consistent. The employees are super friendly and don't mind that I hmm and haw over trying to decide if I want a Whataburger or a Whataburger junior with fries. As we ate in the dining room, we were asked not once but twice by the cashier if we needed any refills on our drinks. The food was hot and fresh. Great fast food option! read more

No option for 0 star, so to sum it up, waited at window 2, 3, and then the curb. Finally received our food, live less than a mile away and my burger and fries were already cold. I don't know why I choose to go here time and time again. They mess up my order every single time. And I always hope that the next time they will get it right and constantly disappoint. This last time, which was about 20 minutes ago, we went through the drive thru and I asked the lady at the speaker box to repeat my order, she repeated it back correctly, then the lady at the window repeated my order back to me wrong, I corrected her and she still sent me away with the wrong food. We got home and ate it because we were starving and too tired to get back in the car and drive all the way back. It's pointless. Has to be the slowest fast food restaurant in Killeen. Don't go there if you trying to get something quick. The whole crew looks tired and it's only 2300. Oh my gosh the drive was so slow I could have sat down somewhere and ate. Don't go here if your in a hurry.

This location takes a long time to serve drive thru patrons and rarely utilizes BOTH drive thru lanes. By the time I get my food I'm so tired of being in the parking lot that I don't even ask them to correct my order when they get it wrong. I decided to go inside one night because the drive thru line was ridiculous and I thought it may be quicker, but I was wrong. To top it off, the bathroom was a mess. I keep showing up hoping service improves because I don't want to drive to Cove for Whataburger, but it seems that's the least irritating option. read more

The place is clean and the food is great. The price is good for the size of the burgers. Out of the way sonic this place now has my heart! The spicy ketchup rocks wnd the jalapeño ranch is worth buying. They are fast and service is great. read more

8Jan2019, Today I spent 30 minutes in the drive thru line, This is unacceptable! And there is no way out because they direct some vehicles into the right hand lane to wait for food. Yes 30 minutes wait to order, pay for and wait again. As I was waiting for my order, the guy in front of me received his order, started to leave then pulled into a parking space. He jumped out of his truck with his order in hand and went inside. It wasn't hard to understand why he was going inside. I thought I feel for the guy... Well, he checked his order before he left the parking lot and that was smart. I got my order and drove off, while waiting at the light to cross over to go toward Walmart, I checked my order, and darn if they didn't screw up my order too. I always order a #1 with no cheese, dry, with the vegetables on the side, ( because I hate wet bread). When I get home I then put the sandwich together. Today I found that they did not give me a hamburger bun. Was I ever pissed, 30 mins in line and they didn't even get the order right. I had to turn around and go back to get the bun. When I walked to the counter, the manager ( a young Asian looking girl) asked me what was the problem and I told her.... she immediately said she was sorry and went to get a bun. When she gave me the bun she again said she was sorry. Yes you should be sorry, because your people are screwed up. Two out of three orders that I place thru the drive thru are messed. This was the first time, you forgot to include a bun. Usually, the screw-up is a Dr. Pepper in place of a coke, or a small fry in place of a medium fry. I have learned to taste the drink while waiting for the rest of the order, and I have learned to make sure I get the correct size fries. I always get a drink with little ice, today they gave me half a cup of ice. As I said, I have never been missing the bun. What I don't understand is why the lettuce, has to be covered in water, don't you have a way to eliminate the water? At home, I use a special container that spins the water free from the lettuce. I am really tired of wasting my time when I go thru your drive in. I have never encountered any problems from any other Whataburger. Its always this place! And it happens 2 out of 3 visits just from me. I wonder how many orders you screw up on a daily basis. You need to hire people that care, and can do the job correctly. Right now as it stands, it should never take 30 minutes to get a sandwich and fries at any burger place. But to waste another 10 minutes of my time to get the order corrected is unacceptable. I very rarely have an issue at this location, but if I do, they handle it with no problem and they handle it with a good attitude. Sometimes I have to wait a little longer for my food, but I don't mind waiting for hot and fresh food. read more

First time at Whataburger. I love that they have someone bring your food to you with all the condiments you need; however, they don't stop back again so be sure to get all the ketchup your heart desires. Burger was good. Wasn't greasy but the patty was very flat. They make up for it by having a larger patty. Their fries were good. Shoestring type. My favorite part was our "server." We got the wrong food and she was so apologetic since she knew it was our first time there. No need for her to worry as it happens everywhere but it was nice to see someone care about service. read more

This is the worst one I've been to. Awful service. The food is good but they act like the ketchup is their personal property.

My first time at Whataburger was my LAST time at Whataburger. You will laugh/and or be bewildered if you read this in its entirety. It IS worth the read. The food was ok, standard fast-food, nothing special either way. What killed it for me was the service. I pull up in the drive through and see this ginormous menu with the theme of "make it your way". So I choose a single patty, with bbq sauce, fried onions, pickles, and mustard. My (now ex-)wife chooses the most expensive thing on the menu.. some fancy chicken sandwich meal. So we pull up to the speaker and I order the fancy chicken thing with a root beer. Then I state that I want a single patty with bbq sauce, fried onions, pickles, and mustard. I am then informed that "Sir, that comes with ketchup, pickles, and mustard." I am a little confused, but I'm not generally a complainer, so I say "ok, whatever." I'm hungry and I'll eat it. Then she asks "Do you want the meal with that?" "No, just the sandwich." I reply. So she then says "Ok, I have the chicken meal with root beer, and what did you want to drink for the second meal?" Um... well.. there wasn't a second meal, but meh, whatever. "I guess root beer." So she marches on, "Ok, I have a fancy chicken meal with root beer and a single patty with a root beer and... um... you didn't want the meal with that sandwich did you?" "no.. not really." I reply. So FINALLY she repeats our order correctly, or at least, what I'm allowed to order. I am told that my total is $11.42, and to pay at the first window. So, I drive around and pull out a twenty and two ones. If you aren't terminally stupid, you would figure that I'm looking for either a ten, or two fives, and some change back. Unfortunately, as we have already witnessed, this woman does not fit into the category of people with working brains., She looks at me and says "Your total is $11.42." I then hand her the twenty and the two ones. This is the point where I swore off Whataburger FOREVER. The moron looks at my money. Then, she looks at the register. She looks at the money. She looks at me. (at this point in time... I'm worried.) She looks BACK at the money. She looks back at the register, and then turns to face me and exclaims: "What chew give me so much money for!? Your total $11.42! What chew give me so much money for?!?!" In puzzled exasperation, I held out my hand so she could return my two ones to me. Then, she was able to press the "twenty dollar bill" button on her cash register. I then got, three more ones, a five, and some change. I felt very, VERY lucky that the amount was correct.
