I wanted nothing more than to run in and run right back out. the small inside was something rancid and mil-dew-y. nope. no thanks. I came in only for a drink. I'm glad that's all I was getting here. I didn't like that the staff preferred that you place your order on the kiosks. that wasn't helping in making any kind of meaningful connection with your customer. whatever. I got our drinks but it Took a while. I asked for a few straws as well. nope. those weren't stocked. I asked for straws from someone that eventually came up to the register only to tell ppl to order at the kiosk but she kinda looked me up and down and said, with a pathetic attitude, that they didn't have any up in front... suggesting that meant that there just weren't any. I'm good. you can keep your attitude. I can see why you're mad, lady. your store isn't doing well and folks are upset. I'll b e going and not ever returning. read more

Half ass place. It's my First time i came to the new location thought I'd give it a go. I was ready to eat specially after a long day at work. I Got home only to find out they didn't put my onions rings in my bag. I rather leave a bad review instead of going back and have to deal with the employees. Wasted my time and money. Early am food wasn't bad. The employees not knowing who's on drive thru was horrible as they were all asking and answering same time which made for ordering fun (not really). There was an older Heavy set Hispanic man whose orange shirt was basically black and orange it looked super unhygienic and not clean or professional. The girl at the window who was digging at her long fake Halloween nails cleaning underneath them while waiting on food to be bagged was also not a great sign. Disappointing. I walked in for breakfast on a Saturday. There were kiosks. I used those to order, but it did take a while for my food to come out. Something like 15 minutes. Yes, faster than a dine in restaurant, but still too slow for fast food. Needs to be cut in half that time...There were no straws, but since no one really works up front, I had to wait a bit to ask someone for it. The place was clean, so I'll give them that. I read the reviews on the drive thru confusion, so I don't think I'll ever be able to use that. Although I didn't drive thru, I have to minus stars for a function that I cannot use. I was super excited to have a location near me, however, the excitement was short-lived. There was five cars total in front of me at the drive thru making me car number six. It was a 13 minute wait. I expected to have amazing hot fresh food after 13 minutes and it was not. The overall experience was very disappointing. I've always gone out of my way to go to the location off Thunderbird and 29th Dr. and I've always consistently received amazing service and fresh food at that location. read more

My whole order was wrong, never asked me how many chicken tenders I wanted never asked me if I wanted anything else just thought I was done, was impatient I asked for three burgers no tomatoes no onions and no pickles I was given just bread and the patty no lettuce my drink had a hole at the bottom my burger isn't even the right burger I asked for a number one I got jalapeño instead the fries weren't warm this whole experience was 1 out of 10 and don't get me started on watching every single employee standing around not doing any work not cook not cleaning and seeing employees leaning against counters this was supposed to be a new building this doesn't meet expectations this location needs to do better read more

What. A. Bummer!! Was looking forward to eating here as we don't have this in CA. Rolled up to the drive thru, really excited! Every thing looked good and had a hard time choosing. I ordered 2 whataburger single patty combos- 1 large one medium. And a kids meal! Here where everything went to chaos! There are 2 drive thru lines- at every other drive thru they merge into one to pay and pick up food so we merged into the line at the window. To our surprise a really rude lady stuck here head out the window to scold us for being there and said we needed to go to the other line and someone would walk out to us and take our money and then bring our food! We informed this lady that we had no idea and it was our first time here and no instructions were given- being that this is a very unusual practice maybe that should be instituted! So off we go feeling embarrassed! Then the whole order was wrong my iced tea that I was looking forward to was lemonade!!! The fries were only half filled!! Burgers were fine but dry if you ask me! The kids meal was complete wrong as well!! What a disaster!!!!! All the whataburgers we visited in the Texas area are all very well run-Phoenix location can use some training for them! read more

The food is ok, they missed a few items with my meals. Took 35 min to get my order. I been to this location twice and both of the times haven't had a good experience. The restaurant looks nice and clean on the inside since it's a new building. read more

If you are going to have two drive thru lines then you better get people out here to man them like Chick-fil-A or In-and-Out. Two lanes merge into one and this is the second time I have to come to this location and waited in the drive thru for more than 25 minutes. That being said, my food was decent. read more

Horrible, I know it's new but when you have the manager in blue who was not very friendly or give you napkins or hot Ketchup, or mustard, it all starts on top and works its way down, hopefully they get it together w/o that manager read more

Drive thru is the major problem. 25 min wait for a couple burgers ‍. Be better about that. Burgers are good don't ruin it with the wait.

I went with my roommate late, after he got off from work. It was 11:00p.m., and we were warmly welcomed in immediately on our entry to the restaurant! After I ordered my meal, Rihanna asked whether I wanted my order to go or to eat in. I asked in reply whether we could eat in their dining room and she cheerfully told me that even their dining room is open 24 hours a day (and not just the drive-through), which was a pleasant surprise! Our meals took a sec to get to us, as you know that Whataburger is fast food made slow, and that is NOT a bad thing! Rihanna brought them to us, each in turn, and our meals were piping hot and delicious, and even though I didn't plow through my French fries, they stayed hot through my entire meal! We both like to dip our fries in mustard, and to our asking, she brought each of us a small container of mustard just for that, and never without a smile! She was personable and friendly and seemed to take it as her responsibility that our meals were just right! Ask for her and see whether I am telling you the truth! Dinner absolutely HIT the SPOT! AND Rihanna and the other staff were a large and pleasant part of that! As we left after our meals, a couple of people on the staff bafe us goodnight, almost as though we were leaving a friend's home after dinner at their house! Worst whataburger I have ever been to. It's 2am I ordered a number 2 meal I get to the window it takes 20 minutes to get my meal. On top of that they ring me up for a meal which is what i asked for, so when I asked where my drink was they said I didn't order it. So I politely asked where my drink was because I thought I asked for meal well the kid at the window decided to close the window and not care at all. I was polite towards the employee and never was rude or defensive so the fact that he still didn't care about his customer makes me want to tell the public don't come here it's not worth it! read more

"Whataburger Whatabummer" Last night I decided to go to the new Whataburger that recently opened near me. Restaurant 1571 at 3301 W. Peoria Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85029. I pulled into the drive thru around 9:35 PM, I was happy to see that there were only 2 cars ahead of me. I got to the drive thru menu and placed my order at 9:45 PM. They have 2 drive thru lanes, one near the drive thru pick up window and the other to the right of the lane closest to the drive thru window. Whatwasteoftime, after about 35 minutes of waiting for my order and watching the car that ordered after me get their food in the drive thru lane closest to the drive thru pick up window, one of the staff came out and brought me my order. The order they brought out to me only had half of the order, so I had to yell out my window that my order was missing half the items I ordered. Before the staff gave me my order, he repeated what my order was and gave me the items. I told the staff Whatapart of my order that was repeated several times when the order was made did they not get correct??? The staff apologized and went back in to get the other half of my order that was missing. I finally got all of my items and left the drive thru at 10:20 PM. I get home to find that one of the burgers had onions "on top" of the bun and no onions were clearly requested for that burger. Also the buns on both burgers were in poor condition as the buns were falling apart as we were eating the burgers. Whatabadexperience, I Whatahad a better time going to the Mcdonalds 2 stores down if I Whataknown it was going to take almost 40 minutes for them to get my order wrong and the items in my order were cold and not fresh. But I can only think of what Whatabeen. I think I will stick to the Whataburgers that are not near me because this new Whataburger is not what the average customer Whatawants, Whatabummer. read more

Tried this new location that has been open for only about 2 months. Not real happy with food or service. Ate inside but they fixed it to go. I ordered Biscuits and Gravy and there is a big difference in how they prepare it for Inside and To Go. Gravy had no sausage in it. Restaurant doesn't seem to be well organized or well run. Being new shouldn't be a problem because they all moved from a previous closed location at I-17 and T-Bird. I recommend the Whataburger at 43rd Ave and Bell Rd. Looked forward to the opening of Waterburger close to my house. Remembering back when there was one at 43Rd Ave & Dunlap. Waited for a few days after it opened to get running smooth. Went today 3/19/25. Pulled into drive-through on the inside lane behind a car there before me. The outside drive-through was empty. Then watched as 5 cars pulled into that lane and ordered food, got there food and I have yet move to the ordering screen. The car in front of me then pulled all the way up to the window, and I was asked to wait for a moment. That car was given their food and left, meaning my lane was now open right up to the window. Server came back and asked if I was ready to order. The other lane all 5 cars had ordered and was waiting for food, I gave my order. Server asked for my name, I said angry customer. Pull to window and paid. Now all cars in other lane have gone. A different server asked what was my order's name. Said other person has left and he was starting shift. He was polite, seen i had my drink, got the remainder of my order and apologized for the delay. I starting to think driving 10 more miles to get my next whataburger is the way to go. read more
