What a total let down. From Ohio we do not have these. We waited for over an hour after we ordered online. One person was sleeping in the lobby. There was a grimy feel to tables and just in general. My burger was large and the toppings were fine, I tried my bun grilled on both sides, but man it was DRY. Fries were okay but SO salty. Maybe that's why the large drink was as big as my head. I went to this store today to find it renovated with a clean look. Every employee I spoke to (4) was exceedingly polite. I noticed one employee getting off of work, telling the others to 'have a good shift'. That is the kind of camaraderie that makes a business good. I said to myself, it that young man walks past me Im gonna shake his hand and tell him people like you are good for a business. We ordered our food to go, got home and all was well. We love Whataburger and live near this one so we go there often. We normally go on weekdays during lunchtime. We decided to go there today (Saturday). We entered and a friendly employee greeted us as he went outside. There was no one at the counter so we waited. A couple of employees came out, didn't say a word to us. We waited as they discussed something at the register, still ignoring our presence. After they finished the man said they'd be with us soon and they went back behind the wall (prior to the remodel customers could see into the kitchen). We waited and waited until it felt like they didn't want our business. We left without ordering. We were very sad, this is not normal for this location, but it is unacceptable to allow customers to wait as long as we did without taking their order. The 3 stars are for the young man who greeted us and for finding a parking place in the shade. read more

It's been a while since I stopped in because they were obviously struggling. This time there was significant improvement. The woman who took our order was extremely helpful and friendly. I had a couple of questions that she answered immediately and she even offered to personally take care of a special request. She did that within a couple minutes of placing our order but we had to wait for the rest of it. While they were in better shape than before, they do have some opportunity to pull it together. I can appreciate the military style that the manager was trying to run things, but her gruff attitude was hard to watch as she was ordering people around. My food took quite some time to be delivered. Other than the item that we received immediately, my order included normal menu items so there was no reason that I could think of why it took so long. Finally one of the staff asked what my order number was and discovered it sitting on the counter so she filled it and made sure the fries were totally fresh. When I received my order it was correct, with hot fries but with lukewarm burgers. Despite the temp, they tasted pretty darn good. Things that were great - the condiment and drink station was very clean and I loved the attention that the original clerk gave us. Whtaburger has always been one of my go-to fast food joints because I know that I may wait a little longer, but the food its on point. My last experience was awful. I ordered 2 meals via the app and was told that the pick up time was in 15 mins. I got there 20 mins. Later and was told that "they're working on it". So I sat and waited waaayyy too patiently for 30 mins. Now i'm irritated, so I ask "is my food almost ready?" This man asked me what did I have? I shook my head and told him... Then i saw him walk to the register and reprint the ticket. They had more than enough staff, but were too busy joking with one another. I ended up walking out after the manager told me he couldn't refund my order because I used the app. I reached out to via to corporate and they never followed up. I just let it go, but that kind of piss poor service needs to be brought up and addressed. read more

I have visited this location twice so my review will be based on my two experiences. First visit was a dine in. Dining room was empty. Not dirty, but also not clean. Food came out w/in minutes of ordering. Burgers where average, not "wow what a burger!". Nothing really spectacular. Overpriced in my option. Here is the second visit. Drive through took 30 minutes from pulling up, ordering through speaker, then paying and pick up. No joke! When we got home burgers where thrown together and buns where smashed. After taking so long then not impressed with the food. Instead of "what a burger !" It should be "why bother w/this burger?". Not going back to this location anytime soon and I wonder if I will go back to another location when there are more choices out there that are better, ah Wendy's or Hardee's. read more

I ordered my one hamburger a#3 at 6.44 PM according to my receipt! At 7:08 the two girls who ordered 4-5 burgers 10-12 min after me were served! At 7:12 the family of 3 who had ordered their food 15 min after me were called to be served. I walked to the counter to complain and my order was announced when I got to the counter!Then some one in the back said no its not ready! I told the guy at the counter I wanted my money back. He called the manager to have my money refunded from the back the manager asked what the problem was. When I explained he offered a free milkshake with a smile! I used to go here about once a week for lunch when I was working. The basic Whataburger is one of the better fast food burgers. Heavier on the mustard as opposed to Burger King's heavier on the mayo. Service here is usually pretty good and prompt, even during lunch rush. I only had 1/2 hour for lunch and seldom had to rush my lunch. read more

We needed Texas after so many days in Florida....we had to leave the hotel we were staying at because it was smokey there I didn't even want to eat there! We were headed back on the road to drive back to Houston, and wanted something to tide us over, so decided to stop here. It was filthy AF, as in seriously dirty, and we probably should have turned around and walked out, but hey sometimes you gotta live on the edge right and test your immune system, right? The food was hot and fresh, and the people were super friendly, so those were pluses, but man, they need to work on getting that place cleaner. The soda station was covered in dried soda, and there were spills everywhere, and a lot of tables were dirty. I'm not sure when, or if, I will be back in Tallahassee, but I might try again but if it were still as dirty, I would probably go elsewhere. read more

I've enjoyed Whataburger once a month or so for years. The burgers are a cut above regular fast food, and the honey chicken biscuit is really good. The service is usually the best I've experienced at,a fast food joint. Today, however, while the food was fine, the counter service was decidedly subpar. The employee at the register didn't say a word, she just looked at me. I ordered a patty melt meal large. When my receipt printed out it was a medium. I asked her how I get the large. She handed me a large cup, turned and told another employee to give me a large fry, and walked off. When it was delivered to my table, it was a medium of course. Dear Whataburger, Once upon a time, I lived where you were on every street corner. Now, I have to wait until our infrequent trips to places where you exist, which usually means Tallahassee, lately. I decided to give up fast food for 2011, so yesterday I told the boyfriend that we needed to give you a visit. Because, you know, there is absolutely no better farewell to fast food than a couple of taquitos. Luckily, he obliged, because he loves you too. One bacon, egg, and cheese and one potato egg and cheese taquito for me, and a double meat Whataburger for him, later, we were in our happy places. Who knew it would take less than $15 to get us there? Its the small things in life that make me happy. That's lucky for my boyfriend, right? I have been a customer at the whataburger location on appalachyee parkway in Tallahassee for the past thirty years . and until this morning I have never once had a complaint that I felt it necessary to write a review about .I and my husband went to whataburger this morning at 5.36 am to order breakfast for the family which was four breakfast bowl combos . when we arrived their where two vehicles ahead of us and by the time we arrived at the window twenty minutes had passed . and by the time we received our order a total of fourty five minutes had passed.i and my husband were discussing if we should just cancel our order and get a refund when the employee who I think was management because her uniform was different than the other employees it was a orange shirt. Finally brought our order to the window . forgetting the coffee we ordered with one of our combos and when she gave it to us we asked where the cream and sugar was that we requested with the coffee she went in front of the restaurant and stayed five minutes before coming back to tell us the cream and sugar was in the bag .so we decided to give her the benefit in trusting the cream and sugar was in the bag it was when we arrived home frustrated food cold and no condements we asked for including the cream and sugar wasn't in the bag . this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at whataburger and I would be seriously surprised if the two vehicles in front of us didn't also complain. The employees were standing around just chatting and the manager I'm assuming she was the manager because of her uniform . when we spoke to her it was like she was high or something she wasn't completely all there she saw our lips moving and heard sounds but it was like she wasn't comprehending .if we do choose to return to this whataburger if the manager is the same we will not order there and we are a valued customer who eats at this restaurant sometimes three times a day or go there at least four times a week just for shakes or breakfast.and the shake machine is another whole different problem it hardly ever is working or at least that's what we are told .I would greatly appreciate if someone would look into this matter because I really like whataburger thank you and have a wonderful blessed day read more
