Terrible Customer Service, Food Always Is Old & Hard, Line Is Longer Then The Parking Lot Every Night. The White Guy At The Window Rolled His Eyes At Me Because I Wanted To Upsize My Drink. I Asked For His Name He Refused & Closed The Window In My Face. I Went Inside & Manager Said That They Cant Give Out Names But Clearly Wearing Name Tags. No Stars Hope They Go Out Of Business

Whataburger? What a joke. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Thanks anyways!

Never. there's a Whataburger every square block in Texas! Try it sometime next time you're passing thru and you will quickly see why Whataburger in Tallahassee is beyond SubPar. You will spend an eternity waiting for food while the staff acts like you are bothering them for being there. Whataburger in Tallahassee should be replaced with a FRESH NEW APPEALING restaurant that doesn't make its employees suicidal and it's customers angry and off put. Whataburger gets NO MORE chances. Some of us can't be persuaded from our standards by pathetic excuses. This location alone has used "staffing" as en excuse for failure since at least 2013. Their goal is 100 years of excuses for piss poor performance. Tallahassee should remove this stain from our city.

We have been waiting in line.

The wait times at this Particular Whataburger are getting ridiculous . I am the fifth car and we have been sitting in line for 45 min. The problem is we are stuck because of the drive thru and can not leave. Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL.

This is supposed to be the #1 combo which is the classic Whataburger.

Review Highlights - Whataburger

All the Whataburgers in Central Florida (Gainesville, Ocala, Orlando) are gone, so any time I can get up to the Panhandle, I stop in at a Whataburger.

Wanted something before I caught my flight from Tallahassee and Yelped my way here. I pulled-up at…read morean odd time and wasn't sure the place was open. Was greeted, as I expect from Tallahassee hospitality, and kindly led through the place's food and beer options. I ordered the very generous "sampler". You're looking at the turkey link and chorizo. I wish for a three (half-link) option as there are so many good choices. I am a French fry snob. I judge a burger by its fries and learned I do the same for links. Why coated? Why? A well-fried, plain potato with a bit of salt and pepper is all that's needed up against these links. I'm crying, foul! The mac & cheese was okay. There is a kale salad, but I'd love coleslaw. I don't know why this place isn't packed with frat boys and their partners. Perhaps a couple more tvs? Perhaps a beer & link combo? A student discount? I will definitely visit this place again. I ordered two classic beef hot dogs, and their bratwurst on a toasted pretzel bun. The ambiance was alright. They have outdoor seating which is great on a nice sunny spring day to have a toasted brat. Overall my experience here for a work lunch was pretty good. They also make their own sausages and sell them by the pound. Pretty sizeable sausage for multiple uses. This is a good place to get away from the usual fast food.

Tallahassee is no stranger to fried chicken joints, and Slim Chickens slides right into that…read morecrowded lineup with ease. While it may not reinvent the wheel, it delivers on what matters: tasty chicken, fast service, and a decent overall value--at least as far as today's quick-serve prices go. I grabbed the kids meal (yep, no shame), which came with 2 tenders, fries, and a drink for about $6-$7. Surprisingly, it was just the right amount of food, especially given how pricey fast food is getting lately. The chicken had a satisfying batter--crispy but not greasy--and their Cajun ranch sauce was a standout. Fries were just okay, nothing to write home about, but they did the job. The staff were kind and efficient, staying low-key even while the place was packed. The dining area was busy, but the drive-thru was clearly the main event. If you're looking for a quieter experience, dining in might actually be your better bet. Despite the name "Slim Chickens," don't come here expecting a bunch of healthy options--it's more in the Zaxby's, Guthrie's, or Chick-fil-A realm: comforting, fried, and familiar. All in all, it's another solid option for fried chicken in a town that definitely doesn't need another, but I'm not complaining. Just hoping my wallet can keep up if I keep eating out like this.

Awesome Lunch For…read more$11.49 I had a very delicious lunch from Slim Chickens #2 located at 2329 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee. I've been driving by this restaurant for the last 6 months, but today I decided to give them a try for lunch and I'm glad I did. The parking lot was cleaned with ample parking and the outside of the building, including the outdoor dining area, was very clean. The beautiful well-designed lobby, including the front counter and self-serve fountain drink area, was also clean. Not a sports bar, but there's several TVs positioned in the lobby for entertainment while dining enjoying your meal. Customer service was awesome and placing my order was a breeze with a well-positioned menu that was easy to read and understand. The wait time to receive my order was about 3 - 5 minutes. I ordered the new 10 Piece Tender Bites Meal with fries, Texas toast, and a drink served with my choice of two house dipping sauces: barbeque sauce and honey mustard sauce. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and served hot. The chicken, which was large for bites was tender, moist, juicy and had great flavor. The toast and fries were also hot and very good. I'm used to dining at Chick fil A when I want nuggets or tenders, but I may have a found my new dining option while working in Tallahassee.

I was in town for business and stopped at this location on the way to the office…read more The McDonalds deprived kid in me loves the little hamburgers that come in a happy meal. I live in north Texas and I always order the same thing at McDonalds. Just a hamburger with extra pickles. In Texas, that simple order results in either a hamburger with NO pickles or a hamburger with TWO pickles. I was curious about Florida's interpretation of a hamburger with extra pickles. It was a hamburger with ONE pickle. I'm not even mad. It was so ridiculous, I got a good little laugh out of it. It was good, just needed the extra pickles I ordered. The staff was distracted but friendly.

Very simple order. PLAIN McDouble meal with fries and chic nuggets and sprite. Ordered from the app for drive through pick up. Arrived. Told to go to first window. Some very large ( I think woman) opened the window enough to stick her arm through and tossed my receipt at me. No " hello. Thanks for the order. ) nothing. Proceeded to the second window. Told to pull up. Asked, " How long do you think it will be?) answer, " when it's ready ". Waited 5 minutes. Order finally came out. I drove to a parking spot and checked the order. Fries were COLD and limp. Mac Double was not plain. Fully dressed. Chicken nuggets were crazy cold and the sauce I ordered? Not anywhere to be seen. No napkins. No straw. Went inside and was hit with, "It ain't my fault!" I just walked away. Threw the garbage in the garbage and went to Culver's next door. Had a great experience. Bye bye McDonald's! You will never get my $$$ ever again!
