We went inside after a cross-country race, and we were hungry. There was a long-ish line, but we did not wait long. The burger was delicious, the fries were good, and it was overall a pleasant experience. Good job, Whataburger!

I brought Barbie to Whataburger Even though she thinks that meat is murder What ocurred in the toilet? It's on film, I won't spoil it But everyone in the lobby heard her This location has super friendly employees and super cute customers and a 24-hour lobby with an outlet that came in handy when I was traveling across country, and the place reaffirmed to me what I already knew. Which is that I am really not a big fan of Whataburger. I had a half decent chorizo egg taco which my server didn't even realize was on the menu. I had some pretty decent fries that don't really live up to the magic of McDonald's fries although they were fresh cooked so I give an additional star for that. And I had one of the worst chocolate milkshakes I've ever had - I asked for a small and ended up with a massive thing. I felt sick and bloated afterwards and only drank a third of it before it hit the trash. Fast food is definitely not my thing and even if it was, Whataburger is far from one of the better ones. The burger itself is all bread and pickle and relish and mustard and no meat - the patty itself is extremely thin and nothing to write home about. Not really sure why people love it so much but nevertheless I'm glad it exists.

There are not any Whataburger restaurants where we live but I've heard or read about them for years. So when we stayed overnight in Texarkana, AR, and I found that there was a Whataburger about a mile away from our hotel, I had to try it; and I wasn't even very hungry. My wife had to be on a conference call so I agreed to go there for a take out order. Since it was my first time at a Whataburger, even though I had reviewed the on line menu, I still needed to look the menu over for a few minutes to decide what to order. We had seen an advertisement for a Coffee Shake that we wanted to try (we often refer to ourselves as a marketer's dream) so I ordered two large ones. Then I also ordered a Whataburger Meal (after all, it's called Whataburger) and a Grilled Chicken Sandwich Meal and substituted the shakes for the meal soft drinks. The sandwiches were a good size and tasted good, although they would have been better hot, as a dine in option as well as the fries. The service was a little slower than I normally experience at other fast food chains but was reasonably friendly. While I was waiting I observed a customer walk in and ask for the manager about an order problem and the manager immediately took care of making it right. Overall this was a good first experience for me with Whataburger but next time I think I'll dine in instead.

Before reading the reviews, we stopped in here because we love their breakfast taquitos!! Welllll, one of the worst ones for customer service...we literally sat in the drive- thru waiting for the attendant to get on the speaker and take our order so, we decided to pull up to the window...we waited....waited and waited another 10 minutes...I finally walked inside and asked the inside employee if they were working the drive thru today- the older lady with the dress on said she just put her drive thru headphones on!!!! Huh??? Wow! So I shake my head and walk back out to the truck, keeping in mind we are pulling a camper through here and cant back up- so we finally get to the window, truck in front of us taking forever, and she takes out orfer BUT makes us drive over to the Raceway gas station next door...we waited in line...people behind us was honking like crazy. !!!!!WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! Will not be back-

I am not from Texas, don't claim to be, and don't want to be. I've heard this is the greatest fast food burger around from a whole bunch of Texans so let's test out their theory. First of all the fries. These are the closest thing to McDonald's Fries you'll find without a Mc in front of them. Not bad at all. I ordered a Double Meat Whataburger with everything. I hate to admit it but it is a mighty fine fast food burger. Maybe the best I've had in the realm of fast food. Seasoning is tops for me and this burger was well seasoned. A McD's like French fry and a large well seasoned burger makes this a thumbs up positive review for me. The Yahoo at the window sucked and service wasn't fast but the food was nothing to complain about. Whataburger is good to go with me.

Over 30 minutes to get our food! Employees were rude and buns were dry. Worst Whataburger I've been too. Very disappointed.

I love how you can see the kitchen but at the same time it's separated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We told them it was our first time and they helped us make our choices, by informing us of their items. I got the ghost pepper cheese burger with a side of cheese curds and my wife got the classic cheese burger with fries. It took less than 10 minutes to receive our food after we ordered. Everything was fresh, even the fries so it was all very hot, nothing that had been precooked sitting under a heat lamp. The ghost pepper cheese burger was phenomenal! It was the perfect amount of spicy. Just enough that you were able to eat without discomfort but by the end, you had a little sweat on your head . The cheese curds were very good too and I felt the size I got (regular) was the perfect size. My wife ordered the classic cheese burger. She said hers was good, but not 5 star good. Her only complaint was that the meat did not have enough seasoning. She said a little more salt would have made it a 5 ‍. Overall, I loved this place and can't wait to go back for more. It's located right in the heart of all the shopping in Texarkana, so after you get your shopping done, swing by and grab a fantastic burger!

The vibe and atmosphere was stellar. The staff were more than friendly and knew their craft beers! We tried some new flavors and were made undeniable fans. I ordered a plate of Duck Fat Fries. This is a total game changer! Even more so, dipping them golden fried sticks in Truffle Mayo... as Buford T. Justice would say... SUMBITCH. And that homemade ketchup? So good it made me want to go smack Junior's mama. We also ordered the Crawfish Dip. It was disgustingly scrumpdidallyumtious!!! Pure flavor profile explosion in my mouth. Never had anything like that before. My wife and I also decided to split a Smash Burger and that thick cut bacon with juicy beef patties... damn. One of the most memorable and satisfying experiences I've ever had, and I haven't even talked about the drinks. My eyes sparkled when I seen a Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned on the menu. A must try. ER MA GAWD!!! One of the best I've ever had... everrrrrr! We also ordered the Cinn-Full Cran Hard Cider by Locust... I now have to find this... just have to! My FIL ordered an ice cream treat with three spoons... lol. Everyone had to give it a try. We ended up ordering a growler of the State Street Blonde to go, and it lasted a day. Unbelievable. I'm heartbroken the place is closed, but will forever leave an impression of Texarkana for me. Thank you! As always, Enjoy & Happy Road-tripping!!

While passing through on a road trip, my local friend recommended Pecan Point and I'm glad I went. Located in downtown, you'll find free street parking in front of the restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we entered and the inside is spacious and casual. I ordered the raspberry Chipotle smash burger ($16), peach cobbler, and a flight of beer and cider ($10). What made this burger stand out was the raspberry Chipotle sauce and fried jalapeños! The flight includes four 4oz pours of any draught and mine were Irish red ale, Pecan Pointe ale, bock beer, and apple cider. The Irish red was my favorite and the Pecan Pointe my least. I would have liked the cobbler to be a little more crunchy, but was still enjoyable. I recommend and will visit again when in town.
