After visiting the silos, our group of tourists were craving a true Texas lunch. We stopped in and were greeted by Gregory, the nicest gentleman you could ask for. He gave us time to look over the menu and answered any questions we had. Our food was delivered to us with such kindness. We loved the fresh, hot burgers and fries. After driving by many Whataburger locations on a recent trip to Texas we decided to stop in . After some initial confusion with our order due to a new girl was being trained in as cashier we received our lunch .We ordered the standard cheeseburgers and were pleasantly surprised at how large they were , more importantly they were very fresh and tasted well . A nice touch was the manager was going table to table asking if everything was going well which is unusual for a fast food establishment. Give Whataburger a try ! read more

It's fast food, I don't usually expect too much. But I walked in and everyone in there sitting already had their food. It took them 4 minutes before they even acknowledged me and took my order. If there was a way to give less than a star I would. If you enjoy apathy, disheartening service, comments like "I don't work off the clock", and odd concoctions of burnt meat wafers with blocks of cheese then boy do I have a fast food experience for you. Step right up to the longest drive through line or in store wait money can buy. I dislike giving reviews or negative comments in general, however after many negative experiences I was filled with motivation and spurned on to give a riveting culinary review. I've been to many Whataburger locations across Texas and I firmly believe that this is the worst location I have ever been to. And it's every single time, the drive through takes an hour plus no matter what time of day and the service always seems like they have a stick shoved their ass. Tonight I drove through and ordered my food and than asked to order my friends food on a separate order and she said word for word "no nope not today I'm not doing separate orders today." DOUBLE OFF THE WALL! Yummy breakfast. Grabbed breakfast here before heading back after parents' weekend. This was my FIRST TIME ever at Whataburger and I was excited. First of all I was very impressed with how clean the place was. I'm not sure what I expected but was pleased nonetheless. I had the pancakes and a sausage and egg taquito and they were off the chain good. The pancakes were fluffy and the syrup was good. The taquito was really good too. This location just got renovated and it looks great! The food was fine despite the fact that my order wasn't right. Typically, younger workers aren't the most enthusiastic, but let me tell you about Jardarin. He absolutely impressed us and embodied the ideals of customer service. Two of my friends ordered small milkshakes and had been waiting over 10 minutes for them. When he came by to check on us, they told him about the situation and he promptly apologized saying that if he knew, he would have went behind the counter to make them himself. He acted quickly to give them medium milkshakes that were going to another table and then remade those milkshakes for the other table that hadn't been waiting as long. These are the kind of employees that deserve recognition because they turn eating into a dining experience and make this one of the best Whataburger location I have ever dined at. read more

It absolutely breaks my heart to write this but honestly save your money and go somewhere else (or even just a different location). I love whataburger to death but this is probably the worst one in Texas you can go to. The service is incredibly slow and I understand that it is the closest one to campus meaning it's always packed but even when it's dead it takes forever. Although some of the employees are sweethearts, a handful of them are not and they make you feel like a burden when asking for anything extra. My husband and I use to enjoy a quick lunch, but the last 3 we have tried in the Waco area have given the same results. First VERY slow service in the drive thru. Today was the worst by far, 28 min. line to be approached by a worker, that did not seem to happy to have to come outside in the first place. She asked again what I ordered and she took my card with no words exchanged. She returned 7, min later swinging my bang and once again no words exchanged as she just handed it to me then ask "Did you get your drink!?" When I responded no and repeated what I had ordered she gave me a disgruntled face as if I was putting her out. She returned 3 min. later with a drink, again no words exchanged. I at this point not in a mood just drove off. When I arrived at work I didn't even get anything I had ordered!!! Not even the drink was right.
