If I could give a 0 I would!! Sadly this is not the first bad experience at a Whataburger in the past 2 months. My husband and I use to enjoy a quick lunch, but the last 3 we have tried in the Waco area have given the same results. First VERY slow service in the drive thru. Today was the worst by far, 28 min. line to be approached by a worker, that did not seem to happy to have to come outside in the first place. She asked again what I ordered and she took my card with no words exchanged. She returned 7, min later swinging my bang and once again no words exchanged as she just handed it to me then ask "Did you get your drink!?" When I responded no and repeated what I had ordered she gave me a disgruntled face as if I was putting her out. She returned 3 min. later with a drink, again no words exchanged. I at this point not in a mood just drove off. When I arrived at work I didn't even get anything I had ordered!!! Not even the drink was right. I had ordered the Monterey melt and received two very cold dry chicken tenders. I don't like giving negative reviews, but this place has more than earned it. The food is awful, the service is somehow even more atrocious​. I know I shouldn't expect good service from a fast food place, but this particular location is easily the worst fast food location I have been to. I will describe to you my last encounter with this place. I kept hearing about how amazing the honey butter chicken biscuit was so I decided, okay, everything else seems to suck, maybe that's why people still go here. I drove into the drive-thru line and pulled up the speaker box. "Hold on." That's what I heard before I said one word. I waited. And waited. And waited. Five minutes later, "hold on." At this point, I have said no words. I waited another five minutes and heard, "I'll be with you in a minute." I thought​ to myself, it's 11:15 P.M. and nothing else seems to be open, I'm starving, whatever. I waited for​ another ten minutes before I decided, screw it, I don't want this. I pulled up to the speaker box at around 11:05 P.M. and decided to reverse and leave without even placing an order at around 11:25. Keep in mind, that's not how long it took me to get my food, that's how long I waited to order my food before I decided to give on ORDERING MY FOOD WITH NO ONE IN FRONT OF ME. I ended up going to Fuego​ that night. I'm all for giving a place a second chance but I've wasted money here multiple times already. We ordered a box of burgers online for a group of employees. The first thing we noticed when we first stood in line was that the guy who was manning the register was very apathetic. When we finally got to the register, which took 15 minutes at least, they told us they received our order and it'd be right out. It was out maybe 15 minutes after that that we received the order. And that was well over 15 minutes past the time they said it'd be ready on the app. Also, the order that they gave us initially WASN'T EVEN OURS! It was someone else's, who had only the first letter of their name in common with ours. Rasheeda corrected it quickly and she was the only person who seemed as though they cared the entire time. Jerry, the apathetic cashier, and whoever the manager was, a large Black lady, both seemed unbothered by the large amount of customers who either were waiting for a refund because their food was made incorrectly or because it never came out of the kitchen. Waco is crazy about Dr. Pepper. When it was invented, it was CALLED a Waco, guys. I learned all about it at the Dr. Pepper museum. This was my families first experience at Whataburger. Delicious burgers, fresh fries and SPICY Ketchup!. But what made our meal extra enjoyable was the great customer service! EVERYONE was kind and patient. At a fast food place it was very unexpected. Then I observed the manager, Lou, coming out checking on customers even clearing their trays! WHAT!!!! Lou did it 3 times during our visit! He is defiantly leading by example getting his hands dirty and connecting with customers. I even think I saw him pay for a soldiers lunch! Got a honey butter chicken biscuit this morning with a two inch chicken finger that was mostly breading (didn't cover even half of the inside) and 3 instead of 4 hashbrown sticks, after 30 minutes of waiting. Probably the worst Whataburger I've ever been to. I went through the drive-thru and at the speaker was told they would be with me in a moment. After 40 minutes of sitting in my car with at least 5 vehicles behind me and watching at least 6 vehicles ordering their food in the other lane. I just redownloaded this app specifically to rant about this place. I nOrmally get a patty melt which comes with a sauce on it but they barely ever put any on there. The wait for the food when you're dining in is usually about 20-30 minutes. And the wait when you are in the drive thru is normally 15-20 minutes as well. It is ridiculous at this point. read more

We waited in the drive thru for 30+ minutes (no exaggeration) with two cars in front. The drive thru person told us to wait to take our order. So we waited patiently, but they left the mic on and we heard conversation happening in the background. We saw one of the employees texting at the window. We were trying to just make a quick stop during a road trip back home, but we were kept waiting over half an hour for a couple of burgers and chicken strip meals. 30 MINUTES. Friday night, 10pm. My husband and I were passing thru. A few people in the dining area, no one at the counter. Many, many workers there. Friendly guy takes our order. We sit down to wait for our food. 7-8 minutes later a group of about 5 of the workers friends come in. Everyone comes from the back to hug/greet them, etc... They are then all given a large bag of food, they have not even ordered. They all sit down and start eating and some of them order more food. After about 5 more minutes I go to check our order that is still not out. A girl tells me it will be a minute, not even asking my order #. I sit back down and wait. 3 minutes pass, people are getting orders that ordered way after us. I go back up to the counter, get in line behind a long forming line. I get up to the counter to who looks like a manager, he looks at me and walks away without saying a word. I stand there patiently, finally make eye contact with him and he asks me "what?" I have my receipt and state the time on it (10:04). I tell him the current time is 10:25. He walks to the back, asking where our order is. Some other guy starts chatting me up, ignoring my now ready order. Wrong order, cold fries..whatever. We ate our crap food our and left. read more

Worst experience I've ever had... EVER!!!! Waited 45 min after we placed our order. It's whataburger between 10:15-11:00 on a wed night. "Please pull up and we'll have it right out." We waited another 20 min when we finally went and banged on their door until they gave us the wrong order. We gave it back and waited another twenty min only to get the same exact wrong order. The manager hid in the back and only came forward to unlock a register to give us our money back. Oh wait, the wrong change! You can keep it whataburger. Poor service. We went through the drive through, and the order was simply wrong. We had to re-order a milkshake, because they gave us vanilla when we wanted chocolate, and then, after we arrived home, we discovered they forgot our chicken for the chicken strips meal! We got a meal of fries and an unwanted cookie because they didn't ask which dessert kids wanted either - just put in random cookie choices (fruit chews are an option). The fries tasted hours old and we were staying 5 minutes from the restaurant. Definitely don't recommend this Whataburger! We love Whataburger, just not this one. Keep driving! read more
