    Just needs carbon wheels

Highly recommend Freddie and his services! My newish frame arrived Thursday night and being super excited to ride it on the weekend, I built up most of it by transferring parts from my old bike but needed: - chain install - install / adjust derailleurs front and back - route internal cabling on the top tube that was driving me crazy I dropped off my bike at 9am (what shop is open at this time?) before work and came by before they closed and guess what? My bike was ready to roll! The best part was when I was riding on Saturday morning and the bike shifted better on the new bike than the old. Same cabling same parts. That's when I felt like how Ultegra should feel - crisp and smooth. Fast service and great quality work. No more Incycle and Montrose Bike Shop for me.

Freddie, the shop owner, came out my way and fixed a flat for me at the last minute last Friday after I got a flat.

Moreover, they sell helmets, gloves, apparel and other bike related stuff. I was in the market of an e-bike and found this cool shop. It's spacious and staff were accommodating. The fancy carbon fiber bikes cost more than others. I like that this store is organized and clean. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I will definitely going for that e-bike on my next visit.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about bikes at all. After my friends attempted to help me switch into bike pedals and having a little trouble completing the job, I decided I needed some professional help. Luckily they were open on a Saturday afternoon, so I swung by and was able to talk with Ron who took a look at my bike. I can definitely tell that Ron and his other employee definitely knew what they were doing. He not only helped me switch out my clip-on to a pedal, but he took a look and helped me fine tune the bike so that it would be rideable! I was losing air in the front tire, the gears were "locked" and some other issues. He was able to fine tune everything and even gave me pointers on how to start/stop the bike when riding haha. Thank you Ron and your team for helping me sort out my bike issue. I was able to ride it the next day without problem. Definitely come out to support a local shop, you won't be disappointed!

I initially just needed the seat raised and the handlebars adjusted, but it turned out the chain was incredibly loose, the tubes were probably at least 10 years old, and there were a handful of other things that needed attention. I worked with Joe, who was absolutely fantastic. He was genuinely excited about the bike and eager to help. He even brought me outside, watched how I was riding, and made adjustments on the spot. After that, we brought the bike inside so they could take a closer look and handle the bigger fixes. They really took their time to make sure everything was dialed in perfectly. Joe also noticed I had a women's seat on the bike, which is fine, but as a man it wasn't the best fit. I appreciated that they paid attention to details like that. They were also very mindful of my budget and made sure we didn't overspend while still getting everything safe and road ready. Ben handled the tube replacement and did a great job. It truly felt like a team effort to make sure my bike was not only running well but completely safe. They even threw in a free water bottle holder and installed it because it was hot out! I ended up grabbing the sickest Grateful Dead inspired water bottle and filled up while I was there, the ride home was so much less intense because of that. My family and I have been going to Around the Cycle for years and have bought multiple bikes from them. Every experience has been excellent. It's clear this is a tight knit group that genuinely cares about their customers. This isn't some corporate chain. It's exactly what you'd hope every neighborhood shop would be like. Anytime anyone I know needs anything bike related, I send them to Around the Cycle without hesitation. They're simply the best. Huge shout out to Joe and Ben for the amazing service and going above and beyond. They will have my business for life!

I bought a Surly Preamble from ATC about three months ago. Love the bike, but there was a problem with my derailleur that I didn't immediately identify because I rode a single speed for years and haven't had to shift gears since I was a teenager. At first I thought I was just shifting wrong. Brought the bike in repeatedly and the issue would get fixed, recur, get fixed again, recur again, etc. It was annoying but ATC was always accommodating. Eventually it became clear we needed to replace the derailleur. By this time I was out of the 60 day service window AND the part had sustained damage at least twice; I had crashed once and had the bike banged around on the train. I was fully prepared to shell out for the new derailleur - I was pretty sure the original one had been fucked from the start but I couldn't prove it and I HAD damaged it before its first service appointment so I figured I'd pay the stupid tax. Not necessary; ATC swapped in the new part and didn't charge me for it even though they totally could have and I would've totally paid. And it wound up being the fair outcome, because as soon as I started shifting gears with the replacement it was immediately clear to me that the original part had been janky all along, long before I damaged it. It never shifted smoothly and, having experienced smooth shifting, I now understand that. They are very helpful, focused on customer service, and committed to ensuring you leave happy and have a smooth ride. I had a challenging first few months with my bike but I'm glad ATC was the shop untangling it for me. Also if you take your bike on the train I recommend standing by it the whole ride so it doesn't get bashed around.
