I am so grateful for this shop!!! I am a complete newbie when it comes to bike stuff and mine was not riding right after a crash on some boulders. Greg was extremely kind, found all the issues caused by the crash, and explained what he did to fix them plus assured me that it's good to go for awhile now. It was so refreshing to have someone go out of their way to explain things and not try to upsell me (as a new, female rider that happens to me a lot and makes me really nervous since I wouldn't be able to tell what's right or wrong). I needed to have my bicycle tire repaired so I looked on Yelp for good reviews. Wheel Sport South is easy to find from I-90. Their busy looking bike repair shop stopped whatever else they were doing and installed a new tube while I waited. I didn't have to wait very long because the guy obviously was skilled at his job. He checked the brake adjustment after reinstalling my tire, and noticed and mentioned that the back luggage rack was pressing against the brake linkage, and suggested that I might bend it a little for clearance. He also lubricated the chain. I didn't get a general tuneup because they are booked until September. Off I went with my bicycle with new tire in about 15 minutes or less. Good experience. We shop Wheel Sport and Wheel Sport only. They sell bikes that they care about and take good care of. You can go somewhere else and risk it... But these guys will take good care of you. It is a little pricey but you will make that back in repairs and how they take care of your ride. They almost always greet you at the door and come right over to help direct you to your needed area. My wife and I love the Specialized Crosstrail hybrid bikes for our active lifestyle. read more

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I was looking for a starter road bike on a budget and called around a few places arriving at Wheel Sport. Staff was really friendly and wasn't pushy on selling a bike. Mostly I appreciated the fact that Lauren actually discouraged me from buying a bike that I was ready to purchase because it fit my budget but was a size too small. She went out of her way to locate a similar model that fit me and what I wanted to spend at their north location. I ended up driving up Division Wheel Sport. Nate fitted me for the bike, made necessary adjustments and handled the sale while the techs did a look over of the bike before I took it home. Overall a very smooth purchase from start to finish. I don't waste my time reviewing a lot of places but If a shop goes out of their way to be honest they deserve 5 stars and I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I rarely write reviews immediately upon leaving a place (I'm sitting in my car in the parking lot), but the service was so great, I've got to. Had a bike in my garage for a couple of years that I wanted to get serviced. One of the techs looked it over, oiled some stuff, checked the breaks, filled the tires. He told me it was a 6-week wait for a tune-up, but that my bike didn't look that rough, so it could likely wait til the end of the season. No question about where I'll be coming to get that tune-up and buy anything bike related now. Thanks! read more

Jon was very helpful getting the bike I wanted after listening to my needs. It had to be ordered then put together which happened over the course of a couple of weeks. Once ready Jon took 2 hours to explain and go over the ebike in detail, making sure I understood the warranty , operation and what else was needed to enjoy my new bike to the fullest. Highly recommend Jon and wheel sport. I could have purchased any bike online, but I really valued the help and knowledge from Jon which I could not have gotten online. I purchased my Specialized bike 4 years ago and my experience from then until now has been excellent. Gary is second to none when it comes to knowledge and ability in both customer service and repair. I recently went in with a broken wheel thinking they would have to order the parts and receive them a week later which would take me off the bike during prime riding weather. Gary meets me at the front door, listens to my tale of woe and goes to a rack of wheels and two hours later I am back on my bike. To top it off, he is going to bat with Specialized to get the broken wheel fixed under warranty. The cost for the repair was exactly what he quoted, which he didn't charge me for the tune up and inspection of the bike. Can not say enough good things about Wheel Sport and Gary. read more

Mark helped me get an awesome hybrid bike. I just told him how I planned on riding and my price range and he got me hooked up with test riding a few. I love that you can test ride bikes on the street and they loan helmets to make sure you are safe. Great customer service, healthy selection of bikes, and wonderful follow-up care for the bike. Chose this shop based on Yelp reviews, and I am so happy. I ride a seven year-old hybrid bike, and I wanted to take it somewhere that didn't give me guff for not being an extreme athlete. I thought I would need enough work that would necessitate a new bike, but Joe lifted it up on the rack, played around with everything, spoke to me about what he saw and *what he did not think it needed*... He was Great. He recommended and installed a replacement odometer, and they even helped find bolts for an old fender of mine. Such a fair price. Such nice people! I immediately took it on a quick trip to the Rocket Market from the parking lot, for a frosty beverage, just to make sure everything worked well. Today, I commuted to work for the first time. I have been a customer for a number of years at wheelsport. Under the new ownership a sad change has come over my shop. It is run much more like a business with outrageous prices and "wheelsport rewards" they you can't unlock unless very specific circumstances take place. I had earned $30 wheelsport rewards, but after an $80 purchase I was not able to unlock them unless I came in and bought more stuff. Another example, they quoted $200 to install bearings on a mtb I have, Division St Bike shop installed them for $60. The recyclery guru at the wheelsport on division claimed only they knew how to put a bike together right. Thats just be. There's plenty of good shops in the area, and any shop that tries to tell you otherwise is just trying to blind you. That's sad to me to see a great shop go the way of corp... such nice people that I want to interact with but management has ruined this shop. Try north division bike shop by whitworth or just shop around and find a shop that fits you. Don't be a sheep and believe there's only one competent shop in spokane. read more

Lets see my wife went in to the store and the sales person "Stunt Man" was helping her. First he put her on a bike that was way to big, (52cm) and while helping her he had her get on the bike while he held it. That would have been good had he not dropped her. Now she can hardly walk let a lone ride her 46cm bike we bought elsewhere. read more
