When she returned hours later she was told "you need a brake job and an oil change -- that'll be $165!" He claimed the charge was for "diagnostics." He had not done any of the work she requested on the vehicle and told her he did not have time to do the work on it that day. She says he got very aggressive with her when she questioned the charge. Agree with other reviewers here who say this fellow "fleeces you depending on your level of car knowledge and whether or not you live in the area. Ridiculously overpriced... greedy, unhelpful." Greenport Tire at Empire Service station saved the day for us! While driving to the ferry at Orient…read morePoint, we hit some kind of sharp metal object on the road which caused an immediate flat tire. We were able to pull over and safely put on a spare and saw that Greenport Tire was just 1 mile away. We ventured over and spoke with the tire serviceman. He dropped what he was doing to help us. He inspected the damaged tire and felt it was repairable. After it was fixed and checked to see if it would hold pressure, he removed the spare and installed the repaired tire. We were back on the road in about 30 minutes. The charge was a modest $30, and we gave him a nice tip. We had a long drive back to NH, and I was relieved to do not have to do it on a spare tire. These guys saved our day #ThankYouThursday

Unnecessary. I go in to get coffee and or gas THAT'S IT. Should be hello/goodbye. I don't know you, don't talk to me. Don't talk about me. Never have a problem with the daytime manager. Oh and there is one more employee there, older man around 50 years old with glasses...go in for coffee and he asks me to show him around town! Disgusting. The owners really should reevaluate their staff. I will take my business elsewhere and not be harassed.
