Located in Block 37, commuters can catch a decent variety of sandwiches for lunch. This intimate fast food place is close to the red and blue cta train lines. There's meatball, tuna, lamb gyros, and a host of other sandwiches. Staff are wearing masks.

Every time I do the survey for the free cookie (same guy when I dropped my shake n the cup cracked didn't want to give me another cup)at the register says they don't honor it. He reads the receipt aloud like he's unaware of what they offer on there sales receipt .. I gave this location a good review on the survey that they said if you do it I will receive a free cookie now there not honoring it at all I was told to speak to a manager and I'm on my lunch break and there's never one there when I come . So I'll be doing the survey again giving my experience today 1/27/23. I ordered the steak sandwich. It was disgusting the meat could've been more done the bell peppers should've been cooked not raw and they forgot the Mayo. I probably want order this again.. Yuck. I wasn't even going to write this but I had time today

    Speaks for itself.

I'll take the Turkey sandwich with extra clip. Accidents happen and when you're moving fast, it's easy for shit to happen. But this is ridiculous.

I ordered the famous "wicked" sandwich from here and was very unimpressed. 5 meats but the disclaimer should be theres barely any of them on there. I added spicy brown mustard, peppers and pickles which was a nice touch. The service was pretty fast and nice but my sandwich was not up to par. The meats were very skimpy. My sandwich had the potential to be good if it was a full sandwich and not just vegetables and bread. I don't think I will ever come back to this location or any other Which Wich and I will continue to get my sandwiches from potbelly.

Really disappointed. Ordered from here for the 1st time and got the "Wicked" with pepper jack, provolone, and cheddar cheese. What I got was some bread with 3 slices of super thinly cut pepperoni, one piece of undercooked bacon, 1 thin slice each of turkey, roast beef, and provolone. No ham and 2 of the 3 cheeses were missing. It was a sad looking sandwich that wasn't dressed at all (no lettuce, tomatoes or sauce). The pepperoni overwhelmed the entire sandwich. Maybe it is a more balanced sandwich if there actually is enough ham, turkey, roast beef, and 3 cheeses along with being properly dressed. Don't know. Friend had the Cobb salud wrap and it looked ok and she seemed to like it. Ordered 2 sprites and received 2 mountain dews.

Got the BLT sandwich here. Honestly, one of the best BLT sandwiches I've ever had. But to be honest I don't think it's that worth it to spend like $10 on a sandwich that wasn't super big. Will be more of a rare treat and craving kind of place, not a regular in-the-rotation kind of place.

Had the chicken sandwich from this location along with the black pepper and salt chips and a salad selection. The sandwich was wrapped nicely in paper and then in foil. The tomatoes could have been fresher so that is why I gave this three stars. I would have enjoyed the sandwich better.

What should of been a Wicked was not.

I used to love going here. I started going here about 5 years ago. My two go to sandwiches was the thanksgiving sandwich. Turkey with stuffing and cranberry sauce and the Wicked which is a meat lovers sandwich. All or most of their featured meats. I hadn't been back for a while probably for a year. So after doing a focus group survey I picked up a Wicked. At least I thought I was getting a Wicked. See how they do things is you take a paper bag which has the sandwich of your choice. They usually have one specific for the Wicked. This time they didn't have Wicked bags so since I haven't been back for a year I had to guess what the Wicked was. I don't do cheese on my sandwiches. So I didn't pick a cheese. I love their caramelized onions. So they have 3 different size sandwiches. The one I normally get is the super. When I took my bag to the cashier he said he couldn't make my sandwich a super but instead they can make it two regular sandwiches. Strange but ok. Half of The super fills me up usually. So when I got my sandwiches to work. I opened one of them and was I disappointed. They put cheese on it. No caramelized onions. The meat was shredded not sliced and oh so skimpy. I took maybe two bites and gave the rest to a homeless person. Calls to the restaurant were unsuccessful. Even emails to corporate were unsuccessful. You might ask why am I taking this to corporate? Because I was a regular customer for 5 years and had great experiences but this visit was horrible. The bacon was half cooked. Food poisoning risk. The sandwich was not toasted. I felt like they just threw together a sandwich without care. Never going back again.

    crab salad sub
    Cheryl W.

I enjoyed the crab salad sub. It didn't have a ton of mayo which was nice. I wish I would have gotten more seasoning on it. I enjoyed the sub overall and will be coming back for it! The staff and service was good and prompt.

Yummy tasty sandwiches and a fun "write on a bag" system. Vegetarian friendly, creative, and we wish we had one in Boston!

When this place first opened, it was awesome. Always packed at lunch time. Then they started using stale bread and now it's not so great.

The meat portion was very generous; the beef was thinly sliced but juicy and not dry or hard at all; the sausage had a rich smoky flavor, not too salty, and tastes a lot like Harbin red sausage. Al's Classic Hand-Cut Fries: They were piping hot when I received them, so touching! I couldn't taste the hand-cut texture, but there was a spice powder similar to salt and pepper, and the flavor was quite good.

Kinda skimpy on the fixings on the Chicago dog, but still gets the job done if you're craving a Chicago dog. Fries are the type that are greasy to the touch; not my fave style of fries but I know it's a well-liked one to others. Super friendly lady at the cashier (all smiles, patient, and offered menu help)! Also fast service (got my order within a few minutes). I visited on a Saturday late afternoon and it was very chill here (also shoutout to the early 2000's era music playing :p it was a vibe). Overall I'd say it's not a bad food spot at all if you want a quick bite and want to be a little away from the Magnificent Mile crowds.

Great lunch/breakfast spot with fast service and simple/fresh sandwiches…read more The oven roasted turkey sandwich was great, tasted like something my grandma would make me (in a good way). Will be back.

I really want to like them so much more than I do. If there were a continuum from hipster deli…read more(think Mile End) to traditional deli (Manny's, 2nd Avenue, etc) Schneider would on the hipster side of center. Two of us shared a half pound pastrami on rye with a side of hash browns. The rye was pretty decent but the pastrami was sliced far too thick and the meat was lean. That is not a good thing when it comes to pastrami and I attribute the lean meat to the deli catering to its hipster-ish audience. Although the flavor was decent, the sandwich was dry and difficult to eat. We disagreed on the generously sized pickle. One of us thought the flavor was just right, the other not so much. We both agreed on the hash browns. It's a no-go. They were well fried but entirely unseasoned. I understand the lack of schmaltz but there was no onion or salt or anything else. Waffle House has nothing to worry about. (IYKYK) Service was fast and polite. The space is tiny, but it works. Prices are okay for this area but if you want traditional deli in Chicago, go to Manny's.
