Ordered the wings - husband got one order with only 6 wings (supposed to be 8), son's order was bone-in, not boneless. My burger was super greasy. Service was SUPER SLOW. Will not go back. Me and a group of friends went to the whip to get a few drinks, and weren't served for the entire 30 minutes we were sitting. This place has horrible service and the servers are insanely rude. One side of the bar is rude and very loud local regulars that are there to only get drunk and then drive while bartenders continue to over serve visibly drunk people that can barely walk. Used to be a great party bar, big crowd, lotta college trim running around lookin for the next notch on their belt, and now, shits dead. Place is constantly looking for kitchen help despite the fact that the food is usually quality bro. Problem is you go to "the whip" you're gonna get hammered drunk, and then you have to leave, and in either direction is just a fuckin bear trap, especially on weekends. You got a 50/50 shot you're winding up with a DUI. The pigs are like leaches around here. But I digress, they have a full bar, mixed drinks are pricey as fuck, and they swap out top shelf booze for low end bullshit and think no one knows. The beers on tap are usually pretty good, couple of micro's, and few domestics. It's a shame because the majority of the bartenders are nice to look at. Yeah they have pool tables, keno, a touch tunes, help your self fuckin pop corn, and a dj on the weekends. Wow......This place reminds me of a frat house on the morning after a big blowout party. Most of the patrons were hammered, or looking to get that way in a hurry, and the volume level was seriously loud as they belched and yelled their orders to the bartender. Yeah, I remember my first beer too.... I stopped in on a weeknight for a burger and a glass of local beer, and quickly decided that sitting outside on the covered deck was preferable to getting caught up in the testosterone-laced drinking games that were going on inside. Not to mention that delightful morning-after stench of stale beer and unmentionable puddles on the floor of the restroom. Sure its not fancy and SURE you may see every boyfriend you have ever had since the 1st grade grinding on a middle aged woman with camel toe on the dancefloor. This place has cheap beer, cheap well drinks and a HUGE patio to hang out on when the shenanigans on the dance floor get to be too much to stomach. When its packed full of my friends I have a blast. The music is loud, the bartenders are fast enough and the parking is indeed some of the easiest parking ever. On a Monday night The Whip is awesome. I love this place during football season. The staff is on point and nice. The food is good every time they don't slack because it's a bar. 2 pool tables, a deck and music plays all night either for the jukebox or a live DJ. About 10 Flat screens on every game on that day with No watered down drinks and the beer is always ice cold. They run specials though out the week but I just love dollar wing Mondays!!! read more

Place is unreal. I got 3 Budweiser drafts and 6 hard shell beef tacos and my bill was under 10 bucks. Patio is nice once it gets loud if you need a break. My coworker and I stopped by this place a couple times, albeit, for the $1 beers originally. This is your typical local bar. Couple of pool tables, some flatscreens playing games, races, etc. Table area, patio with more seating, and a U-shaped bar. I am not reviewing the bar portion, I am more focused on the food. Two particular dishes stood out to me the most. The chicken ranch pizza (small 10" pizza) was trouble to finish. IT WAS MASSIVE! Packed full of toppings. Perfectly cooked, not doughy and not burned. The other dish that really stood out to me was the (small) Calzone. Packed full of meat. It was so dense, that with every slice, and every bite, I could feel my stomach expanding. The Pool tables were open, so we played a little bit. The cues were well-used. Not a single straight one. And the one that was straight-ish, has the end cracked/broken a bit. When I am back in the area, I will be going back. Its a chill place to go to. Its not a hip be-seen kind of place, which I like. Don't go here for the food! I had a shaved steak and cheese sandwich and it was awful. I ate with three other people and not one of use liked what we had nor would we go back. The covered deck is just a spot where the smokers hang out. Of course the smoke just flows right back into the bar through the windows. The bartender was nice, forgot her name, but she was the best part of the place. The bartenders are awesome here, I've recently started becoming a regal due to the fact that the atmosphere starts to be very inviting. I can now see they are working on renovating the place so in time it will be the bar to beat. We got there at 3:45pm We quickly put in a order for water and apps. Then did not see our waitress again for a good chunk of time. She was far too busy talking and flirting at the bar (No food, drinks, or money being dealt with) When I finally got up to go speak with her, she came over and claimed that it was busy and she was the only one working. It was not that busy. We finally got a second pitcher or water . We were a table of five and kept getting only four cups, utensil bundles, and plates. One app came out, the second finally did, the third was never written down or delivered. When our meals were delivered it was one by one. By the time the last two meals were delivered, the rest of us had finished picking at ours. The apps were alright, but the meals were soggy, cold, and even appeared microwaved over actually grilled. The last meals finally arrived and was requested to be boxed up to go, so some in our group ended up not even being able to eat there. read more

The waitress said she was the only one on and I believe she was the bartender too. We received our water and then waited about 15 mins for her to come back and take our order for our appetizers. They came out one at a time instead of all at once. We then had to wait another 15 mins before she came back to take our orders. Which then took over an hour to receive our food and again it all came out one a time. 2 of our friends received their food then 10 mins later another friend received their food. By the time I received my food I told her to just box it up because everyone else was done eating. Not sure why it took over an hour to make food when it was slow in the bar. The bartender/waitress was too busy flirting with the guys that the bar and talking to her friend. We finally all turned around to see what she was doing and she looked over at us and then continued to talk to her friend. This was the worst service I have ever had at a place. got a gift certificate for this place, what a dump. got chicken wings "to go" and they were so over cooked and dry we threw them out,, not edible. The pizza we ordered was good, not great.. Don't know if the man we talked to about our gift certificate was the manager or owner but he was definitely not happy with our "restaurant.com" certificate and was very reluctant to honor it. During our conversation with him he Told the bartender to put a sign on the door that says they "no longer honor Restaurant.com gift certificates" No mention of "alcohol not included" in the certificate but we were told we had to pay for that seperately. On the brighter side, the bartender was very pleasant and accommodating..
