Friday night is Tejano night! Dancing dinner off & fun! Beware before 9pm is line dancing and a lot of teeny boppers. Didn't have any problems just a OMG we are old moments!

Stopped here mid afternoon before catching a movie nearby. The place is very large with different rooms. It was quiet and pretty empty. Looked they were getting ready for the evening events of line dancing class and possibly some private parties. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was great and helped us with our decision on what to order as we couldn't decide. We ended up with the ribs and a fried chicken sandwich tossed in buffalo sauce. The ribs were fall off the bone good and the chicken sandwich was thin and crispy with great buffalo flavor. I'm picky when it comes to French fries. These were very good, cooked perfectly with a nice crisp to them. We will be back for sure to try a few other items on the menu that caught our eye.

Came here for an event with tipsypicassos- hat burning! Really fun. I had never been to whiskey roads so that was a bonus getting to try a new place! We just had drinks and appetizers.. but they were tasty! And during happy hour so it was nicely priced. Our server was very nice and fast. It's a big place, lots of different eating areas plus a dance floor! Very nice :) we'd come back to do some dancing for sure. The cheese crisp was really good.. but the app sampler was ok.. nothing to write home about. Overall good experience!

First time ever down at this place. Great country bar huge dance floor live bands and a DJ. Two separate bars so the ambience before the live band started was pretty decent. You could still hear each other talk once the band got going a certain parts. it's just a little bit loud but no big deal. I mean, you could still have a good conversation. I ordered The sampler appetizer platter. Very good had a good variety. I had some wings and fried zucchini, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, and french fries all in all it was really good. The service was good and prompt. The bars were on it really good. Make sure you got your drinks quickly and Got going. I highly recommend this place if you're down in Tucson if you're looking for a good country bar for some good dancing.

Alex and I absolutely loved this place! From the hidden entrance to the colorful lighting, carved…read moretiki figures, incredible artwork, and enormous collection of tiki mugs, there was something interesting everywhere we looked. We learned that the mugs are part of the owner's personal collection, which he has been building for years. That makes the atmosphere feel even more special and authentic. Hayden was our bartender and a true mixologist. He was extremely knowledgeable about the drinks and the history behind the place, including the artwork created by someone from the University of Arizona's art department. We loved hearing the stories behind all the details. Alex ordered the Desert Comber, and I had the Painkiller. Both drinks were phenomenal--and very strong, which made them even more phenomenal-om-om-om! We also shared the shishito peppers, which were delicious. The entire experience was unique, fun, and memorable. It truly feels like you've escaped Tucson and entered another world. A huge thank-you to Hayden for being so cool, welcoming, and fun to talk to--you made our first visit even better! We will absolutely be back!

Fun experience with great service and incredible cocktails!!…read more Great tiki motif that felt very original. Be sure to walk around inside to look at all the tiki mugs - so unique! The whole vibe is awesome - they even have a submarine room. My guy had a Painkiller and it was delicious. I was all about the spectacle of having my drink lit on fire so I went with the Tandoori Express. I was honestly not expecting it to be as tasty as it was. I was super impressed. And when the fire gets lit - watch out! I was tempted by the Spam Musubi but sadly didn't order it. We did get some Stoner Fried Rice to go and ate it when we got home. Really good!

I decided to revisit Trident, as it has been a few years. I usually go to another establishment,…read morebut we all need to venture out of our usual places now and again. I was greeted by the bartender who was SUPER friendly and made me feel very welcome. There were others at the bar that asked if I needed a seat at the bar. Very cool vibe. Sports bar vibe....with a family friendly place as well. The second bartender that relived the first one was..nice and friendly, but I did not get that "happy your here "feeling. I ordered the HH cod tacos with slaw, avocado lime sauce, and salsa. They were so good!! The blend of the fresh fish with the slaw....YUMMY. The fish was perfectly cooked. Crisp and not greasy, and so flavorful. I wondered why they delivered a bunch of napkins and ....a few bites in I realized. All over the face, and dripping down the chin....good!! :-) I got a burger to go, with added green chilies. I asked for rare, and I got medium to medium well. Sad panda, but it is still a good burger. I just really love to taste the burger at a rare temp. I also asked for a cup of the gumbo. My first bite was SO salty. I don't know if it was in storage or not fresh, but it was a salt lick. Could not taste the flavor past the saltiness. Good locals place, and prices are reasonable. I appreciate a Veteran owns the establishment and since I am a Veteran as well....I will always support Veteran owned!!

Been here twice in two months - once during a weekday happy hour and once on a Saturday night…read more Different staff both times but the vibe was the same: annoyed that we came in at all, and apathetic at best. Two visits doesn't make a pattern. But so far my experience is that you can walk in at any time and receive the same dismissive attitude. To be clear, I don't necessarily fault the individuals - this is typically a management issue (coming from someone who has worked behind the bar). Bottom line, a simple hello goes a long way, just sayin. Our business favors those who realize their patrons have options. FWIW this is my first-ever "negative" review. In any state. Take that for what it is. If I don't like a place, I just don't go back. But there's a missed opportunity here, y'all. We went to a different Trident in Tucson and met the best server ever, no lie. IV, please get it together and we'll come back.

Wondering why a brewery with kids? Well, half of this place is a giant game room filled with old and new pinball machines, a pool table, a couple video games, foosball, a boxing game and shuffleboard. I met Jim, the awesome bartender on duty, who told me some really net stuff about the place and gave me a limited tour of the brewing room. I tried the CDO Blonde beer, which is fitting for this blonde CDO grad. I thought it was really good. Jim explained that they don't add sugar to their brewing process, and instead their natural flavor options serve as the sugars in brewing. Things like fruits, flowers and nuts take the place of added sugar. The pinball machines are very fun, but I have to say the boxing machine was the highlight for the teenage boys in our group. Seeing who hit hardest was all the rage. Catalina Brewing Company takes their beer on the run, or should I say mountain biking trails, to serve to people at events, which sounds fun. There some neat history in this place. I hear they have trivia nights as well. They are family friendly, serving sodas as well. They make cocktails with wine converted to various types of "liquor ". Overall I thought this was a great place I'd go back to in a heartbeat. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and parking. It was clean and best of all, cool in the summertime. Check out the walls when you're there, including the bathroom walls, for funny memorabilia.
