Stopped in for dinner. Sat outside- misters really kept area cool. Drinks and food came in a timely manner and again service could have been better. I understand when you get a large group and it sounded like drink orders were all over the place. It took us standing up about to walk inside for help to pay our bill to get out of there. Seems like other servers who weren't busy would help. Again it's been many, many years since I served in a restaurant.... Noticed they provide takeout- well most likely go that route if we decide to eat from there.

Yumm, the food was amazing along wither the amazing staff and margaritas. We had some amazing tacos and enchiladas with salsa verde and the best mole. Everything was so good, and once it's cooler out months from now LOL the patio area will be great to visit.

Humo Cocina is a deceptive powerhouse! Their modest sized space is beautifully appointed and is essentially a pocketed-sized full service restaurant that never disappoints. Breakfast or lunch - the food is amazing, particularly the quesabirra

Humo does the fun patio part while still delivering on amazing food. It's the type of place you could reasonably bring a huge group of friends or a date and have a great time either way! The guac (not pictured) was solid, but pales in comparison to the fragrant seasoning on the tacos and in the burrito. So juicy and so so good!!

Had a little date night at Top Golf and stopped by for dinner after since it's so close. We had a guac app, so good! Then my husband had a shrimp burrito swimming in green and he raved about it with every bite. I had a taco platter with asada, birria, and pastor; they were all very good too. Overall we were very happy with the service, meal, pricing, speed, and atmosphere! One thing that did happen that I'd like to share is that we ordered flan to share (as we do literally anywhere we go because it's husbands favorite) and when we got it, with the first bite we both looked at each other because it tasted like soap. For anyone who doesn't know, if you wash silicone in a dishwasher, it will make the food it touches taste like soap, and since the flan was in a molded shape, it definitely tasted like soap. Once we got past the edges an into the middle where it wasn't in contact with the silicone, it was SO GOOD! Ties for our first favorite with Blanco. We told our server who got a manager and we shared the experience with him as just a heads up, something to consider, and he was very gracious and open to the feedback; he even comped our flan! We didn't expect that at all. Sharing all of this to say that their customer service is excellent!

I've been wanting to try this place, but the location is normally a challenge for me to there. Today was Make a Difference Day, I'm proud and thankful that the Yelp community had an event to help make a difference. I was unable to attend due to a friend's roadside clean up event which was near Humo. So this was a nice meal to grab after. I got the menudo, before your meal chips and salsa are served. The salsa is delicious. The menudo was very tasty. I wasn't given an option to get a tortillas or bread, but bread was served and it was good. The menudo was rich and flavorful, just the way it should be. I'm not sure what was going on today with the staffing. A lager party seated and ordered before me received their food after I got my food. It's very possible their order just took longer to prep. The amount of staff seemed to increase a by a few folks as the meal went on, but the service was just OK. The server didn't check on me for a bit. I'll definitely try them again.

    Horchata and Salsa, exceptional.

Lunch on 2/26/2026 - ALWAYS FANTASTIC. Juan took great care of us, seriously foot stomping great service... and the food - my goodness. Beans, carnitas, and the Negro Salsa - I've said it before, I will say it again - out of this world. It is as simple as that!

I'm so glad to have this upscale Mexican restaurant in my area. It's a cute boutique restaurant. It's very intimate inside and the have a cozy patio as well. I sat at the bar and had excellent service. I got an iced tea, rolled chicken tacos, and beans and rice. I also asked for a side of hot salsa. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I loved that it wasn't super greasy as well. I felt fueled and clean afterward. Food and service were amazing. I'd love to go back for a cocktail. They look amazing. Cheers!

We moved from California last year where amazing Mexican food can be found around any corner. Thinking it has to be even better in Arizona we hadn't found anything that compares to what we are used to. Until now. Humo has terrific food. I can't say enough good about this place. And not only is it good, but it's pretty. My wife had sopes and there were pansy flowers on top. I look forward to our next visit there.

Went here for my birthday lunch and had a lovely time. We sat on the patio and it was perfect. Adorable decor and fast service! I loved the humo margarita and the shrimp toritos were delicious.

Friend suggested we check this place out and I'm glad we did! I will say seating was a bit limited, but we got lucky enough to score a table without a wait. Interior was clean with simple but stylish decor. Service was good, staff were friendly, and prices are reasonable. Food was delicious! Their house salsa definitely had a kick and wasn't your standard salsa you get at most Mexican restaurants. Guacamole was also delicious and fresh. We both got chimichangas with green poblano sauce on the side and the serving size was big and sauce amazing!! The only disappointment was the beer battered fried fish taco; the sauces were great but the actual fish was pretty simple and bland. Will definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere is really nice and perfect for like couples date or a relaxing evening! Nice music!!! We ordered the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp were large and plentiful. The juice was good too. The beer were perhaps TOO good, lol! I only had a sip, but with better planning next time, I'll have more!! It was Pacifico on tap. The carne asada chimichanga I ordered was really large - and we ended up sharing it with leftovers still. Salsa. Yummy. Very clean inside. The servers were really sweet and it's definitely somewhere we'd return. They also have a drive-thru!

Tacos!! Carne asada, chicken, shrimp, and pork. Double rice sides as my daughter doesn't like beans.

My faves were the coco nido wings (wings with coconut rum glaze), the Stoner fried rice, and the ahi wonton tacos (cucumber, jalapeno, soy ginger, Chubasco aioli, wasabi peas). For my drink, I ordered the Fogcutter (vintage favorite combines a blend of light rum, cognac, gin, orgeat, fresh orange and lemon juice, and is finished with a port float), refreshing and not too sweet. We implemented the 'take 1 and pass left" maneuver to share all the dishes amongst us. We had a great time eating and comparing notes. There were 2 bartenders and 1 dude running food. it's not a place to eat fast. You have to be willing to chill and take in the vibe. Half the people in our party had just arrived to town so it was the perfect, festive yet low key, speakeasy setting for our party. I got a lot of in-law family points picking this place. This was my 2nd here and both times have been super fun. Thank you, Cabali, for a memorable family occasion!

We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.
