Stopped here mid afternoon before catching a movie nearby. The place is very large with different rooms. It was quiet and pretty empty. Looked they were getting ready for the evening events of line dancing class and possibly some private parties. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was great and helped us with our decision on what to order as we couldn't decide. We ended up with the ribs and a fried chicken sandwich tossed in buffalo sauce. The ribs were fall off the bone good and the chicken sandwich was thin and crispy with great buffalo flavor. I'm picky when it comes to French fries. These were very good, cooked perfectly with a nice crisp to them. We will be back for sure to try a few other items on the menu that caught our eye.

Came here for an event with tipsypicassos- hat burning! Really fun. I had never been to whiskey roads so that was a bonus getting to try a new place! We just had drinks and appetizers.. but they were tasty! And during happy hour so it was nicely priced. Our server was very nice and fast. It's a big place, lots of different eating areas plus a dance floor! Very nice :) we'd come back to do some dancing for sure. The cheese crisp was really good.. but the app sampler was ok.. nothing to write home about. Overall good experience!

First time ever down at this place. Great country bar huge dance floor live bands and a DJ. Two separate bars so the ambience before the live band started was pretty decent. You could still hear each other talk once the band got going a certain parts. it's just a little bit loud but no big deal. I mean, you could still have a good conversation. I ordered The sampler appetizer platter. Very good had a good variety. I had some wings and fried zucchini, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, and french fries all in all it was really good. The service was good and prompt. The bars were on it really good. Make sure you got your drinks quickly and Got going. I highly recommend this place if you're down in Tucson if you're looking for a good country bar for some good dancing.

Had to upgrade from 4 to 5 stars. Had a Whiskey Burger yesterday and it was one of the best burgers I've had in Tucson. The service was spectacular even though they were busy and the fries were fabulous. This Had become one of our favorite Sunday "after movie" spots. A really fun location with live music and dancing. Give it a try!

Great bar! But the DJ says he'll play songs and then doesn't. Just asked to play Blink182 and he said no, rude for a DJ to say no!

Bad pours, flat beer, average and overpriced food, awful country pop music. Many better places in Tucson.

Food was cold. Bad and unfriendly service/management. Lots of better alternatives on the NW side of Tucson.

Fun experience with great service and incredible cocktails!!…read more Great tiki motif that felt very original. Be sure to walk around inside to look at all the tiki mugs - so unique! The whole vibe is awesome - they even have a submarine room. My guy had a Painkiller and it was delicious. I was all about the spectacle of having my drink lit on fire so I went with the Tandoori Express. I was honestly not expecting it to be as tasty as it was. I was super impressed. And when the fire gets lit - watch out! I was tempted by the Spam Musubi but sadly didn't order it. We did get some Stoner Fried Rice to go and ate it when we got home. Really good!

In the future, I would probably limit a reservation to 6. My table ordered 1 of everything on the menu. My faves were the coco nido wings (wings with coconut rum glaze), the Stoner fried rice, and the ahi wonton tacos (cucumber, jalapeno, soy ginger, Chubasco aioli, wasabi peas). For my drink, I ordered the Fogcutter (vintage favorite combines a blend of light rum, cognac, gin, orgeat, fresh orange and lemon juice, and is finished with a port float), refreshing and not too sweet. We implemented the 'take 1 and pass left" maneuver to share all the dishes amongst us. We had a great time eating and comparing notes. There were 2 bartenders and 1 dude running food. it's not a place to eat fast. You have to be willing to chill and take in the vibe. Half the people in our party had just arrived to town so it was the perfect, festive yet low key, speakeasy setting for our party. I got a lot of in-law family points picking this place. This was my 2nd here and both times have been super fun. Thank you, Cabali, for a memorable family occasion!

I was greeted by the bartender who was SUPER friendly and made me feel very welcome. There were others at the bar that asked if I needed a seat at the bar. Very cool vibe. Sports bar vibe....with a family friendly place as well. The second bartender that relived the first one was..nice and friendly, but I did not get that "happy your here "feeling. I ordered the HH cod tacos with slaw, avocado lime sauce, and salsa. They were so good!! The blend of the fresh fish with the slaw....YUMMY. The fish was perfectly cooked. Crisp and not greasy, and so flavorful. I wondered why they delivered a bunch of napkins and ....a few bites in I realized. All over the face, and dripping down the chin....good!! :-) I got a burger to go, with added green chilies. I asked for rare, and I got medium to medium well. Sad panda, but it is still a good burger. I just really love to taste the burger at a rare temp. I also asked for a cup of the gumbo. My first bite was SO salty. I don't know if it was in storage or not fresh, but it was a salt lick. Could not taste the flavor past the saltiness. Good locals place, and prices are reasonable. I appreciate a Veteran owns the establishment and since I am a Veteran as well....I will always support Veteran owned!!

We had to try the deep fried pickles (excellent, they are spears not chips), but I had to leave most of my fries behind. Also be aware that the sound level can be pretty high making it hard to carry on a conversation without shouting. Service was snappy and efficient - our drinks were kept full. Atmosphere is bar-like with a see-through kitchen. My wife had the fish & chips - excellent. I had the Captain's platter which is a little bit of everything. The shrimp were to die for. The one downside is everything came fried in the same batter & oil, so everything starts to kinda taste the same. We'll be back the next time we get a craving for deep-fried seafood!

I rolled up at 530 in a Thursday evening and was greeted by a great entertainer on the patio strumming live music. The tacos were juicy and plated beautifully with lettuce, onions, avocado and crema. The beans and rice, which are usually an after thought were well seasoned and delicious! The tamales were some of the best I've ever had and I loved my Quesabirrias. We also ordered beer battered fish tacos which weren't my favorite. The interior is very small so we chose to sit at the bar for more space. The bartender was friendly and provided great service. One thing that was a bummer was that they wouldn't turn on sports when we asked. They said that the owner doesn't allow sports to be played? The World Cup was on so I feel like an exception could've been made but oh well. Now I know not to come here to watch sports.
