The food is good for white castle and the servers are nice, That is not the problem. The issue is everytime I order a 20 piece ring, I always get shorted 1-2pcs. I emailed the store after the second occurrence and they corrected the issue. I went back after and still have had 2 more issues with their rings since then. I emailed the owner again and was ghosted. Same server everytime doing the rings. The trainer there made it clear their are to count the rings but he just dumps them in and hopes for the best. I love this white castle and my only complaint is that it's an hour away from my house! Everytime we are around the Indy area we always stop in for a crave case We do a half and half Jalapeno sliders and regular cheeseburger sliders and they are so yum! When you live in Iowa... Where there is NO White Castle! Seeing that White Castle 24/7 sign along the highway while I was on my way home from Columbus OH... It was like God reaching out directly to me, tapping me on the shoulder, and saying... "Hey Dan. Whatever else happens... Right here and right now. Today is going to be a good day!" It was 1030 AM on a Monday morning when I hit the drive through. I ordered the 10 cheese sliders for $7.99 deal and a large sweet tea. An angelic voice came over the speaker and asked if I had time to wait for fresh pattys. Of course I do! When my time came at the window the gal asked me if I wanted ketchup or mustard... No thanks. I like them humble just the way E.W. "Billy" Ingram intended them to be served. The sliders were hot, fresh, and cooked perfectly! The divine messenger at the window..! Flawless service! They were all gone before I hit Illinois. Those of you who have a White Castle closer than four hours away obviously take these little white citadels and the celestial beings within their walls, who are doing the Lord's work, for granted. And not as the gifts to this world that God intended them to me... Like a neglected partner... Had to try the famous White Castle while traveling in the east. Trust me, I wasn't expecting much. One word....disgusting! I can't see how this place has been around all of these years. And people continue to come here. It makes McDonalds look like a fine burger establishment. I was shocked at how small the burger patty actually was. It was like a single piece of lunch meat. I got "The Crave." Usually I satisfy this by buying the frozen ones and then steaming them but I haven't seen them at the grocery for awhile. So I ordered from Door Dash and they chose the Brownsburg store to send to Danville. In order to get $12 of food and avoid fees, I ordered a 1921 slider, 4 doubles and a sack of onion chips. Well, the food temperature is what one expects being delivered from several miles. The quality of all the sliders was POOR! They had obviously ALL been sitting on the grill until they were dry and nasty. They should NOT have been served in the first place. The onion chips had been fresh and a quick blast in the air fryer brought them back. I saved 3 of the sliders in a ziplock bag and will steam them tomorrow for lunch. FYI - don't nuke the frozen sliders from the grocery. Use a steamer basket and line with parchment paper sprayed with a little cooking oil. Put the sliders in top bun side down, cover, then steam them for about 10 minutes. These come out steamy and just like the first served off the grill. read more

Westbound and down across western Indiana on Interstate 74 (I-74) west this afternoon - I'd missed breakfast due to some unforeseen delays - and now it was past lunch time - I knew I'd be pulling into some small, forsaken burg for lunch at some point. Then I saw it - the Interstate signs that depict which food joints are at the next exit - all of the usual fast food suspects were listed - but also - White Castle!! I knew that I must visit the Castle! I exited I-74 into a small town named "Brownsburg." It was just after 3:00 pm when I walked in - a couple of other folks were in line in front of me. I ordered one double bacon cheeseburger, one double jalapeno burger, and one fish w/ cheese and an order of Onion chips, and a caffeine-free Diet Coke. When I got my food, I was a little disappointed, the sandwiches - all three of them were lukewarm - like they had been sitting out. I was expecting something hotter and fresher tasting. The Onion chips were fresh and hot - and nice and crisp. The Coke was icy and refreshing. Somewhat disappointing given that I don't get to experience White Castle that often - when I do - I want it to be a phenomenal fast food experience! read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this White Castle. The service was very friendly and super fast. The food was typical White Castle, I did try their ghost pepper slider and it is spicy. Drive-thru service only due to COVID-19 and it seems as if the employees at this location are taking advantage of the fact that customers can only order and go! Shame on the young boy at the drive through as if I'm part of his circle of friends. "Yeah what do you want" coming from the drive up speaker. After getting to the window and requesting ketchup I get "what you says" eyes popping out as repeat the request again. Not a word just pushes his hand out the 1/2 covered window with 3 ketchup packages for a bag of fries. Ugh I hope this isn't a sign for the school system of Brownsburg or the lazy management. Sorry White Castle. I'm not a fan. Why must everything be deep fried? Why can't you have a fruit cup or something healthy? My problem is my husband loves White Castle and every time we get near one he has to have it. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I had the fish sandwich and it wasn't too bad. But again, it was deep fried. I also had the deep fried cheese sticks which were OK. I just really wish there was a healthy option at White Castle. Maybe a little grilled chicken??? read more
