We were hesitant to try this place because of previous reviews. Food was hot and fresh! The restaurant was clean! The employees were courteous and helpful. Service was very quick...less than 5 minutes to get 5 burgers, fries, and a breakfast sandwich. The only problem was it was warmer outside at 64° than inside. Even the employees had sweatshirts on. The previous reviews seem to be pre-2017. I would recommend this place for a quick meal. read more

This was my first visit ever to White Castle to try the new Incredible burger. The initial dialogue going through the drive thru was decent. I was able to ask a few questions about the burger and my options to dress it. After a 3 minute wait to have the two Incredie Burgers cooked fresh, I told the Jesse, the kid who gave me my food that if it was nasty, that I would come back around through the drive-thru for a refund jokingly; However, what happened next was no joking matter. I took the first bite while parked on the side of the restaurant and instantly I was disgusted. The burger had a bad taste and aftertaste. After about 5 minutes I started to feel a little sick. After biting the burger I drove back around to the drive-thru to request a refund. Crystal, the manager who did a good job at helping me Choose the burger when I first ordered, was now telling me they I couldn't get a refund, that she made the burgers fresh, and they weren't nasty. She also told me that everyone else like them and she can't give a refund every time a customer says something is nasty. Not once did she offer for let switch out the burgers for anything else or offer an apology. Instead she threatened to call the police and told me that I could speak to Felecia, the morning manager in the AM about a refund. I sat in the drive-thru, called the customer service hotline, made a report. Crystal came out of the restaurant to the drive-thru to hand me a cordless phone to speak to someone whom I couldn't hear. She then proceeded to argue with me about me asking for a refund. She's came back out after another 10 mins and told me that a someone from district told her to give me my $4.12 refund. What should have been handled in a more professional manner, in a timely fashion, lasted 35 mins, with a call to corporate, a upset stomach, no appetite, and a police call. read more

This place is awful. I went here with my family and our experience was terrible. My chicken wasn't fully cooked and the staff was a disgrace to the establishment. I went up to the counter to purchase a chocolate milk for my son and the employees acted like I wasn't even there; I mean looked me in my face and everything. I and another woman waited until frustration set in and the lady said EXCUSE ME. She purchased her stuff and the worker walked back off, again leaving me waiting. I said excuse me and he looked at me like I was bothering him. Sorry that you had to take time out of your personal convo to DO YOUR JOB. Went here on our way to our friend's house in Clarksville, TN on a Saturday night...around 8pm. I had another bout of Nostalgia after seeing a "White Castle" highway sign... the coveted fast food chain whose popularity was somewhat reinvigorated by the classic cult movie, "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." This is the first time that I've ever seen or been to a White Castle restaurant and I was surprised to see that it was a combo restaurant with KFC??? We went via the drive through and ordered 4 sliders with cheese. Each slider was in its own trademark boxed container and in each slider you will find a small square patty with cheese, diced onions, and a small pickle slice or two. I ate two of them and it wasn't as good as I expected. This is going to sound kind of weird but the patty kind of dissolves in your mouth...reminds me of eating some other type of meat spread or minced meat. The texture of the patty was very soft and not what I would expect from a good burger or slider. Lately, it has been a battle between nostalgia and reality for me...and reality is telling me that these burgers are mediocre. I would say that a burger from bigger chains like Jack-In-The-Box, McDonald's, Wendy's, and Burger King is a lot better than these White Castle sliders. For me, I'd come here after exhausting all other options as a last resort. I'm all about experience and if you have never been to a White Castle, try it just to try it...and don't go in with very high expectations. read more

I was feeling nostalgic for Church's Chicken so I looked up the address, and off I went. This place shares a place with White Castle. In any case, there seemed to be a lot of people around doing something, although "verbally beating up" the new guy really shouldn't have been tolerated by the manager. So I ordered the 10-pc chicken. Everything smelled a little stale. I took the chicken home to devour. The chicken had a great crunch to it. But the taste reminded me of rancid oil. I ate a couple pieces and decided to not eat any more. Within an hour, I was feeling nauseous. I'm certain now it was the oil they were using that night. Should gave trusted my senses on this one. I used to love going to pickup chicken at Churches Fried Chicken in Honolulu. But I don't think I'll re-visit the Wilma Rudolph store. Maybe I'll try another store, as I cannot believe Church's would want to put out an inferior product. Clearly, there is a lack of training there in many areas, and I hope the owner(s) take note. read more

The food took forever to prepare and it was plain disappointing. The burger samplers were soggy and flat, the cheese fries were sticky and I was unhappy with the way they made the food. Horrible service! We went through the drive thru with a small order of 2 drinks, 2 chicken sliders and a 4pc chicken. At the window, we were told to pull forward to crave zone #1 while the chicken sliders were being finished. 5 minutes went by...no food. 10 minutes....15 minutes.... Cars ordering behind us got their food and drove around us (we were still parked in the wait zone). At the 20 minute wait mark, I asked my husband to go inside and check our order status because this wait was getting ridiculous. Once inside, it looked like they were cleaning up the kitchen (8:30pm). My husband asked someone about our order. They said in muffled tones, "what the f*ck, did we even make it?". Another worker, (pants sagging and underwear hanging out), replied to his coworker, "It's sitting right here, I was wondering why you needed it!" (profanities used). So my husband grabbed the food and left. After driving off, we noticed that our fries with the chicken piece order had gotten cold. Extremely disappointed in the service we received. It was too cold to turn off the car and we wasted gas idling the truck for 20 minutes in the wait zone. What was hoping to be a quick food stop turned into a very inconvenient and unprofessional experience for us. read more

So I have no choice but to do this. The service I received was inexcusable and couldn't go unexposed. I had an office Thanksgiving party that I needed food for. White Castle has a seasonal turkey dinner slider that I thought would be perfect, given the theme. I called ahead and ordered it so I could come by and pick it up. My office is 30 miles away, so this was my best option. Everything seemed to go fine on the phone call and I made my way over. I came in and was told by the manager to wait before even being greeted. I waited for 10 minutes until she finally came over to assist me. I paid for 30 sliders and got my crave case. When I opened it at the office, we noticed that it was just a piece of turkey on a bun. The menu clearly said that they would have a sweet potato fry and cranberry sauce on them, and I confirmed that it is what I paid for on the receipt. What they gave me wasn't even an option on the menu, just something nonchalantly thrown together without any care. I called to complain about the order and was interrupted multiple times by "WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM US TODAY?". I guess there was no training on this type of thing, so I had to tell them I wanted a refund. So now I made the long drive back to get the refund. I waited at the counter for 15 minutes before anybody would even acknowledge me. By this time, the lunch party was over with no food. The manager (Dianna) truly didn't seem to care about what happened. It was very obvious that she was phoning in the standard manager speech with no conviction in her words. She told me the refund would take up to 2 WEEKS to process, so now I'm out $60. I calmly left without making a scene, but knew I had to tell about this. This location seems to have attitude issues. Before they were remodeled, I avoided it at all costs simply to avoid confrontation. When they reopened, things were better for a while. But now it seems old habits are being revisited. Management has no accountability for their employees even though this is a well known issue. A few days ago, a lady in the drive through literally told me i was burdening her because it was the end of her shift. WHO SAYS THAT!? I'm not sure what the future is of this location, but I think it is time for a corporate review. People are out here fighting for $15 minimum wages, and this place just adds to the opposing arguments. UPDATE: The assistant manager (Selika) was leaps and bounds better than the GM. She took it upon herself to remedy my issue in a very professional matter. Roles should definitely be switched. Upgrading review to 3 stars. read more

The owners need to "restructure" their night crew! We stopped last night after the predators game ( so got here about 11ish) as we were waiting in line (we had two cars ahead of us) we realized something wasn't right as our wait was getting longer and longer. About 15min of waiting we were ready to just leave and the first car got their order, so we figured they were making fresh food. so then the truck right ahead of us got their order and instead of leaving handed it back and got his money returned. Yup shoulda left, but we didn't. We finally get to the window (about 30 minutes after we ordered now) young man at the window tried to give us the order just returned to him. Told him that wasn't our order and said what we did order. He again tried to give us the food that had just been returned to him. By this point we said never mind cancel our order. With a smile he said ok and we left. Guess that's one way to get paid and not work. The owners should be mad at the loss of money and the management should be embarrassed at their lack of control. So went to Wendy's and yup the truck that had been in front of us was in front of us again. Atleast Wendy's food was fresh we got the right order And even with a longer line we were ordered and on our way in under 10min. If we ever try this place again I really hope they have a new crew with people that want to work. But honestly we most likely never will. read more

My food is never hot, the cheese on my burgers is never melted, it's like they just slap a cold piece on there before putting it in the bag, and my service this last time was horrible. I had white castle before in KY and loved it so after coming back to the USA from being gone 6 years, i was so exited to get me a white castle .This place on Wilma Rudolph blvd was so dirty and smelled like it was moped with a old stinky mop.We turned around and left without even ordering .Just plane cross.The manager should be ashamed of him/her self .This was about Year ago and it still bugs me that places like this are open fur business. read more

I drive 130 miles to eat at the Clarksville white castle. my grandkids get donuts for breakfast,then I go to white castle for my burger breakfast.the service has always been good and the burgers and fries are the very best. too bad this is the closest white castle to our west tn. home. read more
