Angleton, TEXAS This company's rep came to my house and asked my wife if they could perform a one time spray for ants for a 35 dollar charge. She agreed as it needed to be done. 3 days later, I get a call from this pest company and they claimed she signed an agreement and they needed 150 dollars.. I asked my wife did she sign anything, and she said obsoletely not, they guy only had a cell phone with him. The woman from White Knight that I talked with first was nice, and said she understood what happened and that there will only be a 35 dollar charge, which I agreed.. This week, I get a text and said to call a number to finalize the cancellation. I called and White Knight informed me that I owe 344 dollars. Bottom line, their agreement they fraudulently signed with some initials is cancelled I'm out 162 more dollars on top of the original 35 dollars. TWC and the BBB has already been notified with a complaint form. Looking at the BBB reviews of this company, I see I'm not the first, and until legal actions are taken, they will continue to get away with this.. damn thieves.. read more

Stay as far away from these guys as you can. They have you sign a contract and after you satisfy the contract you they still make you call them 30 days in advance to make changes. This way they get an extra months payment for nothing. Their last treatment was the final straw for me and I did not want them at my house again. So I called to cancel and told them I was dissatisfied with the service. They told me I had to pay for another treatment anyway regardless of whether I wanted it or not or whether they came or not. They proceeded to charge me for the future visit that never happened. And then they started harassing me to pay, telling me I had to call them not write. I guess they don't want anything hanging around in writing. I considered going to small claims court but decided to pay them and to leave a personal experience review instead. The #1 reason we didn't even go ahead with our initial service is their name alone. My boyfriend is black and after I spoke with the rep and set up the service, my boyfriend said he wasn't comfortable with their name and didn't want them servicing our house. For reference we live in the south, "The white knights" is also a name of a branch of the kkk. They should highly consider renaming. Also, the sales person was shady and not upfront. He asked that we give the a year to try out, which is understandable, he did NOT say it would be a year contract. I signed what I though was confirmation for our apt, it was a contract. White Knight services our new neighborhood, so we looked into them. Their prices were on par or better than the competitiors, their staff is friendly and amazing as can be. Our tech, Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and detailed. He warned us of the onslaught of bugs that'd be coming out of the house once he flushed them out with the first treat, and boy, he wasn't wrong! We can already start to see the difference and we're excited to have him out again tomorrow to treat again and flush out any more! We live in a new development that was previously ranch land, so we've overtaken the domain of the bugs, so we have no illusions that they're not here. So treating just made sense and White Knight is doing a darn good job to do it right. We feel much more comfortable at home knowing they're here to help treat and protect our investment from bugs and termites! read more

The work was fine, but I chose them because, unlike my previous mosquito control company, they told me there was no contract, no obligation; that I could cancel at any time. I canceled my final appointment for mosquito treatment in October as I was out of state when they wanted to come. They charged my card on file an early cancellation fee. When I spoke to their customer service department, I told them all of this. They agreed I had not signed a contract. The solution they offered was that I go ahead and have one more treatment, which would be the exact price of the early termination fee and I would not be charged for the treatment.I acquiesced to this suggestion, assuming it would be the fastest and easiest solution. My complaint is that they did not stand by their word that there was not obligation and I could cancel without consequence. Very disappointing from that perspective. read more

I had several problems with White Knight starting with the high pressure salesman that landed on my doorstep. I signed on not because I believed I needed the service or would be getting a good deal but to get rid of the stranger who wouldn't take no for an answer. Knowing I wanted to cancel as soon as my contract was up, I called to ensure services would not continue after my contract. I was told that a note was made on my account and that I would still need to call closer to the date of last service. I did that and was told that because I waited too long to cancel, I would still be charged 50% of the service fee. No one I spoke to ever seemed concerned by my complaints. We asked them to provide us a reminder to cancel service to which they agreed. Then, after not getting the reminder we asked for they forced us into continuing with another service visit that we didn't want, need, or could afford. They couldn't care less about our situation and forced their service on us regardless. This is some of the most inconsiderate, unreasonable, worst service I've ever had. read more

White Knight Pest Control is the worst company I have ever worked with. When you call for service they promise that all your issues will be addressed, both indoors and outdoors. On the two occasions that they came out to my home the technician never knocked on my door and only serviced the outside of my home (so they say). Both times I called the office, and both times the office assured a manager would contact me to address the fact that I was not satisfied with their service, it has been over three weeks and I've yet to be contacted by a manager or anyone for that matter. I have tried to cancel my contract and I am being told I will be penalized if I break the contract. I have express that they have not held up their end of the contract, but they refuse to allow me to cancel any future services without paying a $279.00 penalty. The last straw with this company was, yet again, a treatment appointment that no one showed up for, and no notice about the no-show was provided. This has happened numerous times. It used to be a good company and I had been with them for years but, as it grew, it just became worse and worse over time. Today, I see it as just another grifter money-grubbing corporation, poorly managed by incompetent people; greed always starts from the top. The tech churn is remarkably high, due in part that White Knight Pest Control obviously is not paying employees well enough to retain them. I haven't had the same tech visit for a very long time, but the real evidence of poor management decisions was after treatment, an app pops up to rate the tech, and then asks for a tip! Overall, I'm a very generous tipper but I'm not going to tip anybody for simply showing up to do the job they were hired to do. And even then, some of those were also slackers, so perhaps they were promoted to the executive suite? Anyhow, after all these years I'm happy to be done with such a now-poorly run company. My first treatment by a competitor fixed more things in one visit than this company did in a year. Don't let the bugs bite! read more

Awful company to work with. They charged me twice in the same month after I cancelled my service. They only would refund 1 charge because I didn't give 30 day notice, I was a few days short of 30 days. They came out to do my last service and only did the front of the house, not the back nor inside even though it was requested. When I called back they said, they would resend someone out. I waited all day they never showed. When I got a hold of someone there I was told the system cancelled the appointment because my service was cancelled. I'll start this review by saying Cory is hands down one of the best humans I've meet. My wife and kids absolutely loved our experience with him. He knocked on our door right as we were sitting down for dinner. He explained what he was doing for the pest control in the area and we signed up. We were dealing with ants, spiders and all manner of pest. He was funny, caring, he eased our minds about his products being safe around the kids and my pets. He ended up playing football with my boys for a few minutes as they were both excited about the brand new balls the received as gifts. I know he was working and trying to get to the next customers house. But, he made my boys feel like they were the only thing that mattered at that moment and I appreciate that so much. White knight pest control has been an amazing experience thus far. Our ant and spider issue has virtually vanished as well as the scorpions and wasp. I have used 3 other pest control companies in the past and none have came close to white knight. If you have a company switch over to white knight ASAP. If you don't have a company call them and ask for Cory or if he knocks on your door listen to him. I have had white knight for 2 and half years and it has been ok. They come they spray charge you and gone. The initial visit they missed a mud dobber nest in the garage but came back and got it. Then they missed a wasp nest the size of a soft ball. Had people over and had to take care of it. Then lately spiders and bugs have been in the house so I had a service today to spray inside and the quarterly outside. My wife and I were sitting outside and noticed some Hornets on the back patio. Looked around the corner and reference the picture attached. Not only did I call the technician to come back and fix it. But he then said he would be back shortly and never showed back. *(Edit- in the Technicians defense he did show back at 725 and was apologetic, however I had already taken care of it myself and will just continue to do so.) In short, this company might have some good reviews but personally they are a 5 minute spray and take your 100 dollar payment. Always an excuse about the season and I am over excuses. Do the job you are paid for or so not take my money. Just another service I will have to do myself. read more

A White Knight representative rang our doorbell shortly after we moved in and offered their services at an introductory rate of $50. After agreeing to have them treat our house for a total of 6 times, with the remaining 5 treatments would be $70 each. The company performed 3 treatments over the next 6 months. After the 3rd treatment there were still bugs in the house, spider webs outside and crickets in the garage. I decided to cancel and was told that I had 3 treatments remaining and would have to pay an early termination fee. I thought that would be the $20 difference. It turned out to be $300 as that is what they charge for the first treatment. Since it was less money to have them continue I reactivated the service. What a crappy company that has to keep customers that way. The service is terrible and I would not recommend them. Best advice stay away!!!!! read more

This company has fraudulent workers, I had a sales oerson solicit my residence 4 in 2019 , after his sales pitch i told the gentleman that I would try them for a one month trial at which i went to my local walmart and purchase a pre paid gift card to pay for the one time service only. Now the prepaid card had an expiration of like 2026 or 2028 for the card which had over 70.00 on it. The sales rep called me after a couple days stating they didnt have a machine that processed credit card payments with expirations that far out. I told him that was not my problem and that I wasnt about to be inconvienced further by trying to find a way to take the funds off the card. I wanted to update my review and to be fair to this company. Although we had a rocky start (to say the least), my review actually got the attention of the right people. This resulted company reaching out to us and we ended up deciding to try out the company's services. And almost a year has gone by and we are still a client. We have seen improvement in results and have been able to communicate effectively with company on timing. When the Pester shows up they are respectful to property and ask if we need anything else before leaving. Do NOT use this service. It's clearly a company whose business model is to cheat and obfuscate their service. They are quite competent at signing you up, but you will have a terrible time trying to stop them billing you. We are moving and it took 2 calls, both over 30 minutes to reach anyone. then you can't understand or hear them. They claim that we couldn't cancel as we agreed to give them 30 days notice. I'm ok with that, but they just argued with us saying we couldn't cancel. We had to literally threaten them with charging back any further charges with VISA. Finally after a loss of an enormous amount of time, increases in blood pressure and loss of stomach lining. They agreed to cancel. It won't surprise me to see additional charges and having to go to VISA. Ridiculous and just plain dishonest. read more

Be aware of verbal bating on the agreement of service and duration. After calling to cancel due to moving, they threatened me with collections and refused to listen to the recording as requested. After arguing they explained i could transfer service, but at that point thier lack of customer service will cost them a long time customer.
