I'm doing home renovations and decided to replace my AC and Furnace. It seems that choosing the right company to properly install and service a new AC and Heating system is as important, if not more important, as is the choice of equipment and brand. After doing some research it seemed to me that White Mechanical might be the company to choose as it seemed initially to be well run. Now, after completion of my new AC-Furnace-Thermostat installations, I'm exceptionally pleased with the high level of professionalism and great service provided by everyone involved from White Mechanical. They've been diligent, attentive, hardworking, highly responsive and professional in every way. It's clear to me that the intent of White Mechanical is to provide the best service and professionalism possible (clearly they understand that "great service" is the key to WINNING in business). While challenges will regularly arise in any business and are unavoidable, this company seems to really try their very best to consistently make things go as smoothly as possible and keep the customer happy. Everyone I've dealt with from sales, installation, office staff, service and technicians to their residential manager/supervisor have all been great. I can confidently recommend White Mechanical for your AC and Heating sales and service needs. My experience has shown White Mechanical to be: Accessible: They quickly return all calls and emails Professional: They do their very best to completely address all needs and do so promptly Punctual: They've been on time every single time High tech and up to date: Their system is completely automated, high tech and up to date. They email appointment reminders. Their agreement can be read and signed online. They text notifications when they're on the way and then they follow up with a phone call to notify of their arrival time. Skilled: My installers (Joe and Aden) were both great. They worked hard and worked late to ensure that all was installed properly and all was functioning properly before they would leave (even skipping lunch and then working overtime on the final day!) They were both friendly, professional and always cleaned up everything well before leaving. They were a pleasure to work with and diligently did great work. The team Gary (in sales): Always professional and friendly. He returns emails and phone calls very quickly and addresses each and every concern promptly and effectively. There's never any pressure. He simply evaluates the proper equipment size needed and then respects which features the customer wants. Joe and Aden (my installers) were both great. (see notes above regarding Joe and Aden) Heather and Susie (in office coordinators): They've both been SO pleasant to work with over the phone. Both are so kind and helpful. After installation they registered my equipment for me (for my warranty) without my asking and promptly emailed me all of the completed registration paperwork. So easy! After installation they promptly scheduled the first of my two inspections. They made payment easy and then quickly emailed my paid invoice. All is professionally and promptly done in their office, all through email and over the phone. Kevin (follow up service provider): Kevin was helpful and quick to come and properly evaluate my thermostat concerns as he and I did our best to figure out why the thermostat I'd chosen was not allowing all programming. Kirk (Top technician): Kirk is exceptional. He's highly skilled, highly trained and friendly as he provides the oversight and finishing touches required to make sure that all has been installed properly and is running properly. Kirk has been trained in this line of work by his father since he was 8 years old! I'm sure it's not easy to find workers with his degree of skill, commitment and professionalism. I'd chosen a plain and basic thermostat with a glitch which turned out to be a bit challenging. Kirk came by and swapped it out for another brand which he likes instead. His suggested thermostat turned out to be FAR BETTER than what I'd chosen! His thermostat choice is SO cool! It's easy to use, easy to program, looks great, has a nice colorful touch screen and works very well. A great choice thanks to Kirk and his superiors. Steve (manager/supervisor over all residential installations): Steve does an excellent job overseeing operations, ensuring that all is done properly. It was a pleasure meeting him as he went above and beyond to supervise and ensure a high quality installation. It was very reassuring to have so many eyes on my project (professional). I am doing this as this company was so far OVER THE TOP then any service company I have ever dealt with and felt compelled to let everyone know what this company represents. thru the entire process starting with Scott Russell came to house and listened to my needs (and more importantly to me what i DID NOT need) and gave me options for what was needed in my course of researching other companies he answered or returned every call immediately and NEVER gave me the hard sales pitch (I am a sales person by trade so I know it when I see it). he was awesome comparing all the products and company options. then I dealt with heather Herr at their office and she seamlessly walked me thru all application and scheduling. she answered all my questions and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. then the install comes and they show up ON TIME... for BOTH DAYS of work... OMG how many contractors have I dealt with that don't even do this simple thing!!! also there work was done on time as they told me, another simple thing that does not always happen!! Their install techs Gary McCrae and Theo (sorry I did not get his last name) went out of their way to show me any issues and explain everything they were doing and guess what EVERYTHING they fixed and installed had $0.00 ADD ON Fees!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they were courteous and clean in my home and presented themselves as the utmost professions that they are!! This whole team was tremendous in EVERY WAY!!! THIS COMPANY GETS IT!! AND OBVIOUSLY PRIDES ITSELF ON NOT JUST HRING GOOD TECHNICIANS THAT KNOW THERE JOB BUT PEOPLE WITH TRMENDOUS ATTITTUDES!!! I had White Mechanical replace my 20 year old HVAC system (A/C, furnace, ductwork) on 7/16/2020. Of the three quotes I received, White Mechanical's was pretty much tied for the best. The reason I decided to go with White Mechanical was because of the initial meeting with Scott who reviewed my home and provided me the options available. I did not feel pushed at all to make a commitment. I felt like he just provided me with information and answered all of my questions without trying to make a sale. I wanted a Lennox system because of the energy efficiency aspects and decided to go with a two stage unit for a more consistent comfort level. Heather called me the next day, worked with me on my payment, and got us scheduled just before the summer heat hit. The installation team (Julio and Lorenzo) was awesome! They called me ahead of time to let me know they were en route. They arrived on time and were very professional and polite throughout the two day installation. Julio made sure that I was informed throughout the process and ensured to check with me before any decisions were made and to understand our expectations. Lorenzo was equally accommodative to our needs and wanted to understand our issues with our previous HVAC system to ensure he designed the ductwork to our satisfaction. Everyone I interacted with at White Mechanical were very polite and always made me feel important. After three weeks of having our new HVAC system, I could not be more pleased. I can only wish this had more stars! I've been working with White Mechanical since 2014 with Cushman & Wakefield and from my experience with White Mechanical on that portfolio I brought them to TriQuest Development Company in 2015. White Mechanical performs our preventative maintenance to keep it in optimal condition and provide proactive recommendations as to potential future problems or breakdowns. As our units were reaching their end of life we replaced approximately 11 units in 2015, 8 in 2016 and 8 in 2017 ranging from 3.5 ton to 10 ton heat pump packages. As we tend to do more than one unit at a time, White Mechanical has been flexible with their pricing. In 2017 I hardly had any service calls from our tenants. I contribute this to the preventative maintenance we have received since working with White Mechanical. All the staff is wonderful to work with at White Mechanical. However, the majority of my service calls are handled by Kirk Dorsch. Kirk is considered one of our own here at TriQuest Development. His talent and cleanliness goes miles with our tenants. He is always prepared, responsive and knowledgeable. The tenants all love him here. He's polite, skilled, patient and a pleasure to deal with at all times. It's not often I receive a compliment from a Tenant, but Kirk Dorsch has been the exception to that rule. Tenant's rarely compliment good work which in return has prompted me to write a review on Yelp. I highly recommend White Mechanical and all their staff. A few years ago, we were experiencing problems with our AC unit. I called two places to diagnose the problem and give me bids. Each company sent out a technician to examine the unit and each told me I needed a new AC unit and furnace at a cost of a minimum of $10,000. I called White Mechanical and Steve Pannell came within two hours of my call, assessed the problem and told me all I needed was a fuse. Since then, I have referred everyone I could to White Mechanical. Two weeks ago, I turned on the AC and nothing happened. The unit is over 30 years old and I suspected it was finally dead. I called White Mechanical and Gabriel Guizar came to assess the problem. Once again, he found a minor problem, replaced some parts and the AC is running better than it ever has. My airflow upstairs was MINIMAL at best, in my 2 story town home. Even w/ dual pane windows, it was taking forever to cool my 1300 sqft town home. I figured since the A/C was all original (1989), it was time to dump about $6k for updated equipment. Mike Hollis came out the same day and inspected the whole system. He suggested we replace the ducting in the attic as opposed to replacing the whole system, because there's a good chance that it's leaking and not efficient. Kevin came out a few days later and replaced all the ducting in the attic. He used bigger and more efficient updated ducting w/ controllable dampers to help w/ the flow upstairs. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Obvious freon leak in system since we did a full freon charge the year before. At dbl the price for freon, now, I was expecting a sizable repair/recharge bill. I asked for "Steve" and they actually sent Steve to work on my AC. He replaced a damaged schrader valve, charged the system with a "Stop Leak" sealant to plug any small pinholes, and recharged my AC with R-22...All in less than one hour! There's really no telling how long that leak will stay plugged but White Mechanical provided a sensible solution to my problem considering the age of my system and they charged a fair price, too. Five stars!! My home warranty company said my heater problem was the zone control board, which is not covered. White Mechanical was hired for providing the second opinion. Charlie carefully tested everything and found the problem, which was the furnace circuit board and should be covered by the home warranty. During the long and painful arguments with the home warranty company, Charlie patiently explained to me how he reached the conclusion and also rewrote the diagnostic with more details. About 2 years ago, we had some creepy a/c guy come through, he was the contractor under the house warranty. He came in the and looked completely perplexed by the a/c unit. A temporary fix was found (with my help, by the way)...another issue came up recently, so I was leery about having another strange, worthless a/c guy come through. But we lucked out. Their web site has a fair special on diagnostics and my technician Wade was truly professional, experienced and honest and took time to explain the options and available technologies. My heater had stopped working because of problem at furnace and at the same time he installed a wireless thermostat receiver in the attic and a thermostat in the house. Had my AC unit go out on saturday night. Was 101 degrees that next day. Called this group on Sunday and they responded which was the first surprise. I was told that someone could get out, at a premium price, but there was a chance parts would not be available, and it would be best for a visit the next day. Given a time of between 9 and 11am.
