I called white mtn performance around the first of April to see if they could work on my kawasaki and was told there were 3 weeks out and they said I could bring in in April 29 at 9 am. I took it in as scheduled and they still haven't touched it after 3 weeks. When I called on may 17 I was told they were 4 months out? Why did I bring it in then. Not honest about working on atv or when it would be worked on. Don't trust them. Should have looked at reviews first. read more

I ordered a shell for my truck and was under the impression that it would take a few weeks so I called only to find out it would take 2 months to receive. I was also told that included installation which is true if I'm willing to wait 2 more weeks for their availability. Rob never said a word about any of this. Now I'm out another trip we had planned to take with my dogs. This place is creepy in the first place but for sure he'll never see another cent of my money! Go to the valley or find someone else. In sept I ordered a leer topper for my truck, the order got messed up and was never started by leer, was told i would get a refund that was November, it is now February and no refund. Nothing but lies from the check writer. Then i filed paperwork to go to court, AND the usps lost it. so now i have to go another route, maybe criminal theft will work, looking into it. nothing but smoke blowen up my butt from the finance people there, never ever do business there. I bought my RZR brand new in 2021 and had nothing but problems with overheating. I took it to the shop I purchased it from 5 or 6 times for overheating and it would always overheat again. I decided to take it to WMP to get a different opinion. The first time it was misdiagnosed again. Overheated within two miles of driving. I took it back again and they finally figured out what I've been dealing with for 2 years. They fixed it for free other than oil and I really appreciated that. I'm not going to lie, it took quite a while to get it fixed. But that is the world we live in now days. RZR operates at 178 degrees now, where it had always operated at 205 in the past. BEWARE Rob is a terrible businessman and extremely dishonest. Before you read my review, read the responses that Rob makes to other negative reviews that people have left. It tells a lot about him as a businessman. He tries to turn it around and blame the customer, he doesn't take responsibility, or even offer to resolve the issues. This speaks volumes even before I tell you my story. It is long and I will try to stick to the most relevant issues, but it was a long-drawn-out situation. Our oil alarm on our pontoon boat was beeping. We thought maybe the squeeze rubber hoses were bad. We called to see if they carried the hoses, they did, we wanted them to install them. We took the boat there. We got a call that the lower unit was bad, that it was torn up and needed a bunch of parts. They said they might have trouble finding all of them. I have a mechanic in Oklahoma who had worked on my boat over the years before we brought it here. Rob called him and gave him a list of parts. I paid my guy directly (over $600) and the parts were sent to Rob. After a couple of weeks, I got a call from my mechanic, that Rob had called him again needing more parts. My mechanic called me right away and said that Rob had no idea what he was doing, that he should not need all the parts he was asking for. That there is no way that every part in the lower unit would be bad. He has over 30 years' experience to support his concern. He was worried that Rob was ripping us off. He also said that the job is a max 4 hour of labor, if he was charging me more than that, he would be ripping us off on labor. I went in to talk to Rob, he said "I needed more parts, I ordered them, when they get here, I will put them on". I asked if he was charging me the 4 hours for labor, he said no you can throw that book out, that is only if you are standing over the motor with your tools in your hands....that doesn't count looking for parts etc. I asked what are you charging? He said at least 1200.00. I called my husband to bring the hitch up, we went in and asked for our boat, the parts he ordered, and our old parts. We took it down the street to EZE Trailor repair and they looked at the old parts, there was not one damaged part. They sent us home with the new parts so I could send them back. They put the lower end back together with all the original parts, with the exception of a seal kit since it was taken apart that was necessary. They also addressed the oil problem and fixed that. The labor for the lower unit was 4 hours. I went back to White Mountain Performance to talk to Rob to give him a chance to change the outcome of this complaint, a chance to do the right thing. I asked him to pay me back just the cost of rebuilding the lower unit, he said no way. He even looked at the receipt and said that's too much. I said you were going to charge me 3 times that amount, plus I had paid for the parts (that he didn't need, and I can only assume he would have sold to someone else). He said well we had to back the boat in, I said my husband did that, then he said well there is time looking for parts, I said you mean if you're on the phone for hours on hold looking and searching for parts you charge you customers for that time, uh well no. He was tripping over his own words. He said my lower unit oil was filled with metal shavings, not possible, we had just changed it and the only way to get metal shavings in the lower unit is if the gear is torn up and it was not. He said how do I know they fixed it, I said I waited to take the boat to the lake, it is running great. He said what are you going to do when it breaks down again in a couple of weeks, my son said not bring it here, Rob's response was and I quote "I wouldn't work on your shit if you brought it here". . He absolutely is a terrible businessman and would have had no problem ripping me off had my mechanic not called me. I gave him a chance to change the ending of this story, I told him it is a small town, and I would be letting people know of my experience, he said say whatever you want I don't' care. Rob, before you start trying to defend your self and put the blame elsewhere, I have pictures of the parts, receipts from the guys who put it back together, a witness in my mechanic who spoke with you on the phone, and an audio tape of our conversation. Instead of not taking responsibility, why don't you try to do better by your customers. read more

They installed a new steel bumper on my truck. Did a great job. Quoted me a good price and didn't even charge me for some additional work to fix a light that was damaged when the original bumper was hit. Told me it would take the better part of the day and I was out the door by 2:30. read more

If I could give negative stars it would definitely be a complete minus, do not take your vehicle to this place they are incompetent. I took my brand new Jeep there to have a towing base plate installed, by brand new I mean I had just picked it up the week before it didn't even have plates on it yet, when I picked it up I took it home and washed it and noticed deep scratches where they had taken out the tail light and let it hang on the painted bumper then there were ding in the body along the area they were working... this was a brand new car they were the first to work on it, I took it back and showed Rob of course he denied they did it "because they were professionals" and they put protectors around the area they work on. When I went to check on progress one day they did not have any protection on the car. Again when confronted he vehemently denied they did it to the point calling me a liar when I asked if he was calling me a liar he backed down and said to go get a bid for repair, I again asked if he was still denying that they did it he responded yes but told me to go get a bid to have it repaired. I received a bid of $1,400.00 took it back to Rob which he just shook his head, I paid for this repair, the auto shop made two attempts to get him to pay for it which he didn't... DO NOT TaKE your car here! Again they are incompetent and dishonest! In such a small town news travels fast and bad news twice as fast the owner of this place does not deserve your business take it to a more reputable place. read more

I took my 2012 dodge ram 2500 truck to get a 6" pro comp long arm kit installed. I was told by rob it should take about day or day and half the most. They end up keeping my truck for almost 5 full days telling me that the pro comp kit was extremely hard to put on and basically its a pos kit and that rough country is better LOL. I called 4 other lift shops down in the valley and they said it should take about a day and quoted me same price range as rob. I got extremely worried and uncomfortable after rob kept saying today/tomorrow and that they had to cut grind weld etc..He try to tell me the kit wasnt for my truck at first after I told him well I will come and take it back switch it out get the right parts he tells me well I spoke with pro comp and they said thats the right kit. I think it was his way of trying to buy more time knowing his not going to finish when he said he was. If he been installing lift kits for 35 years he should have known he had to do this with any long arm kit and this wasnt any special or complicated kit. Anyways after I pick up my truck it was already around 5 pm so I couldnt even get alignment anywhere so I had to drive my truck back home (heber) than go back to showlow the next morning. On my way home when i made turns my steering started shaking make noise so I look and realized that my tires were rubbing against my long arms. I wish rob would let his customers know that there tires are rubbing against the new kit they installed and that I am going to need spacers. When I was picking up my truck his mechanic pulled it out of the garage. I seen him tell rob something about it and rob was looking but I didnt know what they were talking about and not once did rob tell me hey there rubbing you need to fix that dont turn the steering wheel all the way or even write it on my invoice so i can know like any other customer would expect him too. Now after I spend $4k on a lift kit a day later the powerd coat off my long arms are rubbed off from the tires all the way to the metal. Have to paint it so it wont rust. If he let me know I would of bought spacers and have him put it on while my rims were off. I own all kinds of off road toys and I was planning on having him put a new lift kit on my cj5 maybe do some front end work on my samurai but I dont think I will be going back there again because as a owner of two businesses I think customer communication and honesty is the key to sucess other than doing the JOB right. Rob is only good at one thing robbing his customers out if time and money. They also kept some of my old parts when I went back they lied and said they put everything in my truck. BEWARE! read more
