Update: was able to get a call back and will be coming back this week to fix the mesh/screen on my roof. Will update as the progress goes. I asked to have my pigeons on my roof to be removed. Steve and his partner placed mesh to cover areas so they don't come back. I'm not sure if it was placed wrong because the pigeons went around it easily. They never left and still on my roof. Tried to contact the company the same day and many times after and I'm not able to get a hold of anyone. I tried to contact them via email and phone (unable to leave message VM full), texted and called the number they provided to BBB and It's a wrong number. They can at least call back email back or anything but they are not trying at all to communicate and they promised a guarantee for a year. It's two weeks and the pigeons are still on my roof. Steven calls back after posting this and said he will get back to me and has never got back to me. He called in the middle of the night and I think he might have been drinking or something. I told him I want a refund and he is not professional and does not keep his word or do his job like he states he does. This is his text and kept saying his busy but apparently it's what he says to everyone once he gets his money he will never return or finish the job. Do not go to this person he is a scam. This guy will ask for cash if you're in an emergency situation, such as removing a live animal from inside of your home. Sure you want it out now, and he's arrived to help, so why wouldn't you honor his request to pay $275.00 cash. After the animal is handled he will ask for a ridiculous amount of money to perform an inspection of your home ($475.00). He takes a check for the $475.00 and says he has to come back another time to perform the inspection. Why wouldn't he collect the inspection fee after the inspection is completed? It's because he takes the money and runs. I never got a follow up for the inspection I had paid for. I called him several times and get a vm that's full. Something to consider before hiring this company, what is the license number for? He claims to have a license. What kind of license? He could respond to this review and clarify the type of license. He displays a license number on the company profile. One thing is for sure, it's not a California Contractors License. I checked www.cslb.ca.gov. It's also not a DFG trapper's license. So what type of license is it? If he has no legitimate license he likely has no insurance either. Wish I had looked him up on Yelp before hiring him. But I was in a desperate situation at the time and wanted the animal gone. So I guess it's my fault I was taken advantage of. I told him it did not make sense for him to put a trap in my backyard when I was concerned about the rodents under my house. We argued for 72 hours before he came and picked it up. I received an early Sunday morning call from my mom who was frantic saying she saw the head of a raccoon through a whole it made in her ceiling. We searched on google and contacted several pest control companies. Not many returned our calls since it was Sunday but Steven from White Owl called us back. We met him at my mom's house. He set up a trap with bait. He said it would cost $375 and that it was good for 3-5 raccoons. He requested we pay up front via Cash App. The next day we could see that a raccoon entered the cage, was trapped, ate the bait and then escaped the trap. We knew it wasn't a cat because of the feces it left behind. We called Steven to come back to either fix his trap or provide us with another trap that worked. He never came back. Every day it was a different excuse - can't make it today will be there tomorrow and then not show up, car problems, etc. Steven has a pretty good scam going on where he preys on people's fears. For $375 you think you are getting a pretty good deal so you give it to him but in reality all you are getting is a $50 cage with a small bag of dog food in it. Well played Steven. read more

I caught a two-striped skunk in my Havahart live trap Thursday night. Called WhiteOwl to see if they'd come pick it up and place it somewhere far from me. Although they usually place their own traps as part of a larger project they agreed. Ran a little late on Friday PM but got here. Steve and a masked cohort took the poor little critter inside my trap out to their pickup. I paid them extra to return my trap by the PM, or Sat latest. Haven't heard back from them or received the written receipt promised, either. I'd rate them higher if I had my trap to reset for more of the darned critters constantly invading my property. read more

This company pretends to be able to catch raccoons, but their cages are not strong enough to keep them in. They escaped every time we caught one. The company simply refused to refund us for the prepaid amount they are charging..329$ for NOTHING! Also very bad service.. Just a 2 man company with no staff and no money to purchase decent cages. Keep getting the brush off and even though I made an appointment. Once I finally messaged STEVEN he gave me a bogus excuse about not having GPS for driving directions. Very poor experience with this company. They came to my house to deal with pigeons. But instead of sealing off all the eaves like I asked, they said pigeons don't like lower areas. If there is an issue we will come back. Of course they never returned even after confirming multiple dates and times. Lame excuses or simply blew me off. I had Steve fix a pigeon problem on my roof. They were nesting under my solar panels....leaving their business around the house. Steve showed up right on time for the estimate and gave me a fair price. He installed screens around the solar panels and added other protection on the roof to stop birds from landing, which was more than I expected. Steve gave me a 1 year warranty on the work. We had 2 raccoons visiting our yard and we have small dogs. They were using our and a neighbor's fences for transit. Steven was able to secure a trap to the fences. I had a dead racoon under the apartment complex (I am a property manager). I had no idea what was causing the smell throughout the building at first. I called PG&E, called plumbers and finally was informed it was a decomposing rodent. This happened late evening on a Friday. I called many places and no one would service me or they were closed on the weekends. I was worried I wouldn't find anyone until Monday. The smell was consuming half of the complex (inside their homes). Saturday morning Steven called me, although he was booked he agreed to come right away he serviced me within 2 hours!! Then, we tried to reschedule many times. Finally, we agree that it will be 4/22. He didn't show up as he told me he has another job that pays over $3k. I decided to go with White Owl at that point. Steve was friendly and arrived as scheduled. He took a look at all the possible entry points, showed me what he was going to do and completed the work within a few hours. He was thorough and conscientious. Steven never finished the job he promised. I had rodent problem, so I contacted Steven. He came to my house and set up traps. Then asked to get paid upfront. Once he got paid, he never showed up to clean the traps. The dead animals were stuck in the trap and I had to discard them. A bit surprised by the discovery of, not a handful but a colony of bats. This is a small start-up company. Steven responses very quickly. Provides quotes very fast. Flexible in scheduling. Answers my questions in great details and explains what are needed to be done before conducting work. Rats problem in attic is gone after first repair in January 2017. They came in the second time after one month and did more work sealing one more plumbing vent on roof per my request. Two months passed and I have not noticed new rat activities. No squirrel activity is noticed after this. Will continue to check rat/squirrel activity and I believe that Steve will come to fix it if any. The warranty is one-year (10 mo the left). So far I am happy with the result. (By the way my roof is Spanish tile which is the worst type of tile for rodent proofing. Rodent proof is much easier for other type of roofs) read more

My wife wanted immediate service and all big exterminator companies had only 9 to 5 hours that we called. Stephen is professional and efficiency. When I heard some light steps on my attic, I called Stephen, he came right next day and fix the holes on the whole house to prevent animals sneaking in, and then put traps on the attic and basement, in where we found mouse drops. He said usually it took 4 weeks to get it cleared, and schedule for next service in a week. On his next service, 2 mice were caught on the trap in the basement. He took them away and replace with new traps. Stephen came back again to check if any new activities in 2 weeks. Nothing found. No new sign to see any activity. It's really happy to get mouse cleared in 4 weeks. Highly recommend. read more
