We were shocked at the total, which came to nearly $17.00, but understood that in this economy and with grocery prices, it was what it was. We arrived at the window and waited, and waited, and waited. I knew that they cooked everything to order, but it felt like an eternity had passed since paying. Finally, the order was ready and we went home. Not only was I disappointed with the burger, but I was upset that what we paid for and the time we spent did not equal what we received. The amount of Guacamole was like a spread, and there was no deft to that burger. For the amount that we paid, that burger should have been loaded. My mom made the most appropriate comment, " Honey, Somebody shrunk my burger!" There appear to be two dining rooms, so I'm not sure if only our side was closing or if the entire restaurant closes then. The food was good overall, but it wasn't seasoned much at all. I found their house seasoning blend on the table just as I was finishing my meal. I wish I'd noticed it sooner because I think it would have made a big difference. Our server was friendly and attentive, and our food came out quickly. The restaurant has a cozy, family-owned feel with lots of charming decorations, heartwarming quotes, and family photos throughout the dining room. One of my favorites was the sign that read, "I Love You Like Biscuits and Gravy." It was such a cute touch that perfectly fit the warm, cozy atmosphere.
