It literally HURT me every time I saw them. Brandon at Caliber was awesome...after he did an assessment, he said he thought he could buff them out...WHAT!? No big paint job needed? But wait...how much will that cost? He said it would be complimentary...and then he proceeded to do his magic...poof! The scratches were gone and then we talked a bit about how important customer satisfaction is to them and that they value customer feedback so they can keep improving. Rick France was a godsend; he looked over the car thoroughly, explained things in layman's terms (I know NOTHING about cars), and went through the estimate. To be fair, the estimate was around $3300, which was more than half of what I paid for it to begin with. He could see I was visibly upset and gave me some great advice, which was to list it on craigslist as a car that could be rebuilt, rather than sell it to a chop shop which wouldn't pay more than a few hundred. Rick even went so far as to check to see if someone he knew (who was looking for a fixer upper for his daughter) would be interested. You don't get that kind of service many places). In the end, I placed it on craigslist and had two interested buyers within an hour. Ultimately, I ended up trading it in for 2k at a dealership which I put towards a new car. If I ever (holy sh*t let's hope not) rear end anyone else, I'll be back here for sure.

He threatened that the other insurance would force them to use subpar parts and that we would have to pay for labor. This was in direct conflict with what we heard and experienced from the insurance company. In one conversation when we were asking questions he hung up on us after suggesting we might want to take our car elsewhere. I had been over to the Honda dealership which is really a rip off, the price they wanted was outrageous and I've had to wait several months anyway because of the pandemic and parts being hard to find. I just taped up my window and thought I would figure it out later. I was fortunate to come across Jeremy here at Caliber Auto Body in Lincoln City and he told me I'm pretty sure I can do this for a lot less. He was right it was quite a bit less and he is so easy to deal with. The entire shop is all about integrity and honesty. I really feel comfortable working with Jeremy, I wish he had a car repair shop because I would only go there. If only I had somewhere good to go to get my car repaired like Jeremy's shop that would be wonderful. Everyone who works there is so kind and understanding they make you feel right at home. You feel like you are dealing with friends and not people you have to be leery of. As a woman we all know how difficult it is to bring a car in for repair and hope that you are getting what you are paying for. I have only great things to say about this business and if God for bid I ever do end up in a wreck and let's hope I don't this is where I would go and I would feel safe and well taken care of. This was after the repairs were "done" they instead of fixing my car they created more damage. I…read morementioned it to the manager and he just shrugged his shoulder. I told my insurance (allstate) that i was concerned that they would do more damage. They said the district manager will look after your car and everything will be great. The last photo is "everything great" and "watched over". So if you go here you WILL get more damage done than repairs. This was on hoyt st I got hit two times in the a day. So I had 2 repairs at the same time. Before i went my driver window worked. After it didn't work. (They tried to say preexisting) I had pictures of it working AT the accident, they also made my key not work in the door. And i had rear damage. They didn't do the back bumper correctly. It wiggled and was soft. When I inspected it more they forgot a shock exorbitant in the bumper. I went back and the general manager said my 2014 car was so new nissan says it's not needed anymore. So my car is so old the window wont work but so new they are changing things? I went to nissan of salem to check. There have been no changes to the bumper and it's a safety thing. So I was lied to about the safety of my car. This was lewis st. This all happened in a 2 month period.
