Always an exceptional experience. Went in today to have a bracelet sized and had another lovely experience. They were able to do the adjustment in less than 30 minutes while I waited there with my daughter. I live in Lakeway and appreciate that they are able to do rush work while I wait so I don't have to make multiple trips. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Emilio sized the bracelet perfectly. He made sure the fit was perfect before we left and even surprised me with the leftover chain from the last piece that I had sized that I left on accident. They were fine the first time I went in. Time after, they scammed me so hard that I literally went in the very next morning and they said "sorry, we don't do any refunds of any kind". They went out of their way to say they don't refund things that aren't even in their fine print. I went to several businesses to evaluate the gold they sold me...they scammed me in price. When I asked them to please refund less than 24 hours after my purchase...they had a host of excuses for why it was a reasonable price...and why they couldn't just take back their unused gold. read more

Despite it not being as large in footprint as some chain jewelers, I was so pleased to see the wide variety of beautiful pieces, ranging in funky, artsy, classic, bold, refined, and environmentally conscious (see - lab grown) pieces. I was really just going in to look, as my husband and I are approaching a 10 year anniversary, but after trying on almost everything, I fell in love with some stunning earrings that my love surprised me with by taking them home. Business-wise: they are "fine". Customer service-wise: very inauthentic and rude. We have gone in only twice. Once to drop off some necklaces for repair, and the following time to pick them up. No greetings, no eye contact. They only looked at and spoke with my husband, because he was paying. They complimented everything about him and couldn't even reciprocate a smile my way. (All, except for the young man behind the counter.) Considering I'm the one wearing the diamonds, you would think they would at least acknowledge his wife. He asked how much a cleaning was, they whispered to him "it's always free". Then bagged his necklace up and sent us on our way. Did not even ask/offer the cleaning. Thank you, Kristina! I wasn't even remotely prepared for the experience we had this morning. My son found one of my old watches with "bling" and asked me if he could have it. This watch is 20 years old, lol. We took it on for a tune-up and a new battery and they were happy to help. While we waited, my son and O walked around looking at all the gorgeous pieces. They have classic designs, fine stones and metals, and even estate collections sold by the gram. Kristina came over and offered my son a drink (juices, water, etc) and then she offered me a Mimosa! Yes, please!! My son asked her how much a real pearl was and she walked us right over to talk about freshwater pearls and their value. After that, she was excited to show him all about diamonds. He got to learn about how they are millions of years old and how to handle them carefully as well as showing him the difference in clarity. I was SO impressed by the service. We took our time to look at all the wonderful pieces. If you're a peridot birth stone like me and have been avoiding it all these years? You'll reconsider when you see the rings and pendants they've got just begging to show you off. Have been here several times now for jewelry repair, purchases, and for a custom necklace made with a diamond from an old ring. Customer service has been fantastic, not pushy at all, prices are fair, and I love their selection with a great mix of many different styles. The repair on the tennis bracelet was especially good. They shortened it a bit and rebuilt the clasp. It's better than when new (and much better than a previous repair at the place we originally purchased the bracelet). Was in Cedar Park for a doc appointment and searched for a nearby jeweler to adjust some watch bands I had recently purchased for my new Samsung watch (love it btw). Was so pleasantly surprised by Whitestone! A grand space and the most stellar customer service EVER! As we were sitting waiting for the first band links to be removed, my husband and I both looked at one another and said "this place is great" at the same time. We agreed then, that despite it being far from home, this would now be our go-to "neighborhood" jeweler. The owner and staff truly made us feel like family and wanted us to enjoy our visit - "would you like a water while you wait?" asked everyone who passed. As they were working on the watchbands, I asked if they could clean my wedding rings; and my husband's. "Sure, and I'll check the prongs for you as well." "Great! I really need to have that done more often!" In short, the bands were sized perfectly for a very reasonable fee, everyone had a bit of fun playing with my "smart" watch, we chatted about common interests, and our rings were returned to us in a state I didn't remember was even possible at NO CHARGE...despite having them "professionally" cleaned several times over the last decade. Blushing, but I forgot what a GREAT job my loving husband did with his choices. ;) Whitestone is going to appraise our rings for updated insurance info on our next visit. Still sparkling like pixie dust, I told my hairdresser about my experience during a recent appointment, not remembering she lives in/around CP. Took in two rings for sizing. One was sized correctly while the other was not. When we went to pick them up, they offered to correct the issue, but I said we would see if it would work. It didn't, so we took it back and they put a rush on it and got it back within two business days. They were very friendly and although I worked with a different person each time I went into the store, each was able to deal with the issue quickly and efficiently. I was impressed. read more
