I showed them a photo of what I wanted and left looking a little like Cameron Diaz in Something About Mary. Because they were so late I didn't even bother asking the stylist to change it up. I brushed it out. My hair had SO MUCH hairspray in it! It was heavy and ended up falling flat. My first experience was great. This being the second fell flat, literally.

My only complaint and the reason I gave only four stars is, I didn't love the shampoo bowls. They don't have the rubber neck support in the bowls, and I just felt like I kept sliding down in the chair and it made me think too hard and not be able to enjoy the shampooing experience. I work with my hands for a living, and my nails genuinely needed proper cleaning and prep before tips were applied. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly ask for basic prep work while being made to feel uncomfortable for speaking up. The tips were then applied with excessive glue/product underneath the nails, leaving thick chunks underneath that make the nails difficult to properly clean. When I expressed concern, I was told the glue "had to be there" to make the nails strong. I have been getting my nails done for decades and have never had a technician argue with me for not wanting large globs of hardened glue underneath my nails. When I said I wanted to stop the service, I was told "let me fix it," but the issues were never actually corrected. The nail lengths and shapes were inconsistent, the filing/shaping was uneven, and there were visible imperfections, debris, and rough edges throughout the work. I also had concerns about sanitation. The UV lamp being used appeared dirty and damaged, and the drill/e-file bits looked visibly unclean between clients, which made me increasingly uncomfortable during the appointment. I've attached photos so people can judge the quality for themselves.
