After they worked, our car is White again. They worked hard at vacuuming and cleaning the inside of the car, including the trunk. Their crew took out and cleaned floor mats and they seemed to wipe down everything as best they could. We also have dogs so there probably was a little bit of dog hair in the back too. The woman who runs the business said they needed to charge extra to shampoo one of the carpets because there was some sort of stain in the back. I thought that was reasonable. Considering that it has been years since we seriously cleaned the car, I think they did a good job and put a lot of attention, I think the price I paid was reasonable.

In all cases, California Detailing produced fantastic results that made the new cars look better than they were at dealer delivery and the well-used vehicles look as close to new as possible. For vehicles that we've subsequently sold, California Detailing's attentive work helped protect their resale value. Even when we don't have big jobs pending, we drop by their shop a few times a year for installation inspections and touch-ups (no charge during PPF or ceramic coating warranty period). In addition to being skilled professionals, California Detailing also have great customer service that easily makes my family and me feel at home during our visits. I can come by to take a look at your car and give you a quote. 30 minutes later (if that) David was in my parking lot, assessing the damage and wiping off random bird poop stains off my car while telling me the detail and repair plan. I was in. He even offered to come pick up my car and drop it off for the service. I don't know how grateful I was for the straight forward feedback on repair and the before and after says it all. The quality of detail I received for the price was the best I've had in forever. I've paid $300 for detailing service and received crap back. How do I give more stars…read more I came to David at Steamworks after getting quotes from other shops that wanted to charge an arm and a leg for scratch repair and or new parts or just flat out rejected doing the work at all. What a difference. Before I even booked, David gave me a thorough, honest upfront assessment -- no overpromising, just a clear-eyed look at what was possible and what the process would involve and how much it would genuinely be and what else my car might need. I dropped my car off within a single day, he removed rust, corrected deep scratches across the rear quarter panels, polished and restored the paint, and even cleared up the headlights. The car looks almost brand new. The before and after difference is incredible. The price was insanely fair compared to what dealerships and other shops quoted me. If you're dealing with scratches, scuffs, or paint damage and don't want to get gouged, come here first. David does the work right, treats you like a person, and delivers results that speak for themselves. But enough words. I'll let the photos do the rest.

Ron, within minutes of entering our home, confirmed our suspicions and quickly got to work, starting with the removal of the severely damaged drywall segments followed by the removal of paint. He doesn't do plumbing, but recommended a plumber that he trusted and partnered with over the years. After the pipe was repaired, Ron proceeded to patch up the wall and prep it for painting. His professionalism throughout this multi-day experience was very positive - he shared his thoughts on what happened and why. I appreciated his candor and friendliness. They worked Monday through Saturday 7:30-4:30 with Cesar sometimes staying past 6PM to finish up a few things or to discuss issues that may have come up. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the results. The paint job is beautiful with two coats of hand paint which is the gold standard. In addition, Cesar's helped fixing my gutters and downspouts and doing water testing on the windows that I had water leaking problems in the past. I also let him restored my decks and stairs to the natural redwood color and they now look beautiful as well. Compared to the two similar jobs in the past, Cesar's job is clearly the best. I would highly recommend A&F to everyone.
