My life is a series of food cravings.... But, I'm currently pregnant which gives me extra leverage with my husband. I was having a flash craving for a fried fish sandwich and was sure I'd have to go all the way to Oakland but this place came up on Yelp and did not disappoint. The fried fish sandwich is a definite winner. Hot, fresh, seemed to have lettuce, tomato, cheese and tartar sauce. Hot sauce on the side. Fair pricing. Would recommend and will return so that's two thumbs up for me.

Been driving past this food truck that's near my home and after running into the owner at the supermarket I decided to come support as this is a desperate need in my area. Fried catfish, prawns, wings and more! First things first the owner is very friendly and gives you service with a smile. The food is extremely fresh and hot. The catfish was really good, nicely fried and seasoned. The prawns were also fried well and seasoned. The fries are really good and fresh and seasoned. I will be back to try other options for sure.

Who Da Combo, fish, prawns and chicken with fries

I was out taking a walk in the Tara Hills neighborhood and stumbled across "Who Dat Cat." I ended up ordering the "Who Da Combo" which consisted of 1 piece of fish, 2 wings and 2 prawns with fries. Everything was fresh and delicious with great flavors. The fish and chicken were tender and the prawns were sweet. The food tasted as if it came out of a restaurant not a food truck.

It's always nice to support a family-owned business that has built a strong local following. I ordered the D & D plate which comes with prawns, hush puppies, and 2 sides- I ordered fries. Everything came out fresh, hot, and well seasoned. The red snapper was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside while still tender inside, and the seasoning was just right. The hush puppies and fries were a great addition to the plate and paired well with the fish. Simple, flavorful food done right. Service is excellent. We've tried the fried catfish, snapper, prawns, and chicken, and everything has been fried and seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside, flavorful and tender on the inside. The portion sizes are generous for the price, making it an even better value. If there's one small drawback, it's the limited side options--fries, potato salad, or coleslaw. A few more choices would make the experience even better. Overall, we highly recommend it. You will definitely leave satisfied!

But turn the menu over and you'll see even more options for bento boxes, tofu soup, hot stone rice dishes (dolsot) and more. Service was fast and friendly, but don't overstay your welcome since the restaurant is small and very popular. Bulgolgi bento was awesome - it comes with ita own banchan, japchae, fried gyoza, and a food portion of beef that our 6yo som devoured by himself. Chicken Dolsot was also a solid dish - I like having veggies, carbs, and proteins all in one on a sizzling bowl with a fried egg. Wife and her bestie shared a half order of soy garlic KFC, which were large, crispy, and sticky. Its my favorite KFC flavor and wished we got a full order so I can have some more, LOL. Definitely keeping this place in mind for future visits. A good dinner takeout place if I ever need to work late from Richmond during evening commute.

I'm not sure if that's why our food took over an hour to come out, but it definitely made the wait even more frustrating People who sat down after us had already gotten their food, finished eating, and paid by the time we even received our meal. We drove 45 minutes each way to come here, so waiting over an hour for food with no explanation or real acknowledgment was super disappointing!!! What made it worse was that there was no concession or attempt to make up for the experience. When we finally paid and got up to leave, another server rushed over with the POS asking if we had paid. After everything, it just felt like one thing after another. The woman managing was very sweet, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the overall experience was just really poor and absolutely not worth the 90-minute round trip. Also the server who was stepping in to help in place of our original server kept apologizing and let us know the kitchen was slow. What am I supposed to do w that information. For reference we were originally at table 1 and were moved to table 16.

I ordered my food to be cooked I was hangry and left with a triple wide big back. My seafood I picked was Alligator, Baby octopus, Basa, Catfish, Jumbo Lobster Tail, Jumbo Tiger prawns, Sea Scallops, and Oysters. I also ordered a bottle of Kim's Crack Sauce. My total damage with cooking fee was $130 it was well worth the price with the amount of food and the seafood per pound is great! I was told it was an hour wait for my food to be cooked and I was totally fine with it. Less than an hour later my food is done and I am handed 2 giant shopping bags full of food and head home. You can also request you food to be fried hard if you want. I will definitely be back. I want to try other seafood items. There is no dining area to sit and eat Soultran's is strictly order to go.
