Cool glow in the dark side axe throwing

4.5 stars but I'll round up! Such a fun place to go to. I really loved the space and the layout of this place. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is bc they don't serve alcohol, but that's just for me but I can see why they shouldn't serve alcohol lol kinda dangerous if ur drunk. And maybe high schoolers would love it more bc it's just a fun activity and reasonably priced and clean! It was kinda slow the day we went and I liked it lol. But I heard it can get pretty busy especially on Tuesdays Cory the owner actually made an extra effort to come teach us how to throw the axes and also conversed with us about his business and family.Such a kind nice person!! Definitely recommend! Parking lot is big with lots of parking, and they have a menu of mocktails!

    Small axe in the target

My wife and I have been axe-throwing one other time in Lake Tahoe and it was similar, but with some notable differences. Here, the wood target is not an actual slice of log, so it was sometimes more difficult to get the axes to stick. However, here there were two types of small axes and both were much more fun than the hatchet we used at the other place (and couldn't make stick at all at the other place). Here, there is an absence of alcohol and food, but they do have snacks and mocktails. Gavin did a good safety briefing and helped my Mom feel more comfortable. At $30/person/hour, it's a reasonably affordable way to experience something new in the area and have some fun.

We came here for a Valentine's Date and it was so much fun! It was the first time here and we were just so excited to try something new out for date night! Check-in was really easy they had you sign a liability form, and then you have someone to coach you through how to safely and properly throw the axes . Each lane comes with like a table top and also a bar top that you can sit on you can order drinks or snacks at the snack bar. There wasn't too much to choose from so either either you got to eat before you come or eat afterwards. They're very small snacks. Like chips and popcorn. It's not anything big at all. So it took a while for us to figure out how to properly throw it once we got the hang of it it was so much fun! It's really empowering and it's a really great way to just release energy and tension and just have a good time! We definitely will be coming back again! It's a pretty big space. They also have a dance floor cause I think they do line dancing here and I think you can also come here for like birthday parties other events. I think it's a great place to like come with friends or double dates or whatever.

    Different sized axes

Great experience this afternoon at Whoop. Overall it was a super fun experience and great environment. Fun music playing the whole time. Coaches were awesome -- very funny and helpful. Lots of variety with the axes make it fun. Lots of shapes and sizes. Great place to go for a date night, going out with friends, or work/school event. Would recommend checking it out! Tips: --you must wear closed toed shoes to throw axes --if you are struggling, make sure to ask the employees for help, they are very willing to give you pointers and help improve your throw --coaches accept tips so make sure to give em a nice tip if the service was good! You can tip when paying initially or wait until the end and give a cash tip. --if you're going with a big group you'll want to call ahead or make a reservation online. If you're going with a small group, you should be able to walk-in

Special thank you to the staff for making my daughter's 15th birthday and absolute blowout success! I can't begin to tell you what a perfect venue this was for me to host her and nine of her friends. Not only did the staff help me figure out drinks decorating set up and overall experience. I am just thrilled to death that this venue is offering a safe haven for teenagers around this area to hang out. Have some fun do some line dancing and just celebrate life. There are so many people in the society who complain about kids having nothing to do and I give whoop ax a gold star for offering a fun Saturday night. I really can't recommend this place more and thank you again for making my daughter's birthday the best experience ever!

Happy Birthday to me! And always hang up the axes and hatchets when not in use. You can also see the cute photo opp mural on the far wall

This review is long overdue (ha! I rhymed!!) I booked a lane for me and some friends to celebrate my birthday. Booking and paying for us was an easy process. It's difficult to find as there was no large external signage to mark their spot but luckily we followed another group of flannel clad folks who were going in as well. (It's at the far corner of the desolate looking shopping center where Big 5 and We Play Loud are) It's a big space that's clean and well maintened with friendly coaching staff. We were greeted by Olaf, their resident dog, as the owners Kaden and Cory explained the safety rules and taught us how to throw. There are a variety of hatchets and axes to throw so if you're not good with one kind, there's still hope that you can hit your target with another kind. They have non-ETOH beverages for purchase as well as snacks, clean bathrooms and cornhole and giant jenga too! We'll def be back. Note: throwers must be at least 14yo, wear closed toe shoes and don't be scared to throw!

    I tried lol

This was my first time going to an axe throwing venue. I threw an axe over a decade ago at a wedding and nothing stuck. I wasn't sure how it would go this time. Having a coach was reassuring. Tristan (also known as Dirty T) was our coach and he taught quick lesson before we started chopping wood. Well, his lesson paid off after one of my throws stuck. He provided feedback during our session which helped us get better after each throw. My favorite axe was the "Big Bertha". So much power with one axe! We were a party of 4 and we each had a lane to ourselves. I'm not sure if that's the same if it was busy. I saw that you could become a member and throw axes anytime!!! I'm totally thinking about it!

BRAVO STAFF BRAVO!!! First off not only is the hotel,…read morebeautiful, it has so many amenities for its customers. It is also a sports club. Customers have access to the gym and pool. Let me tell you about this AMAZING staff. To Giselle our hostess with the absolute most energetic personality. Super kind and helpful. Our bartenders Saul, super hilarious! Great guy! Sarah, who made up drinks on the spot, and they were delicious . Levi, Sam, and Taylor thank you for great service both nights. To Danny, the cook lead. I want to highlight this gentlemen and give a special thank you for the ginger ale drink for my stomach. Danny saw me at breakfast downstairs in pain and took it upon himself to go to the bar and had a special drink made for me. By the time I was finished with breakfast, my pain and nausea was gone. It is that kind of hospitality that makes people want to travel and experience new places. A thousand thank yous Danny. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The pillows by the way were the most comfortable. They also had small windows that open from the bottom. Fresh air is the best! I found a smoking area across from the front entrance of the hotel. It is surrounded by beautiful trees and a small bench. The hotel has a parking structure for parking, No charge, just park on the 2nd floor. I cant wait to come back to this hotel. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Other Hotels take notes! Hospitality at its finest! I would give 10 stars if I could. Thanks staff!

I'm actually writing this review because of one person: Taylor, the hostess at the bar…read more The hotel itself is solid. Clean rooms, good atmosphere, and the ClubSport fitness facility attached to it is honestly one of the best hotel gyms you'll find anywhere. The place has a real "active resort" vibe with pools, spa amenities, and a full health club attached, which is pretty unique for a hotel stay. But what made the night memorable was Taylor. When I first sat down at the bar, she was the only person who actually noticed I had been waiting. No eye contact from anyone else. She immediately stepped in and took care of it. Then she made my Old Fashioned exactly how I like it. Not overly sweet, balanced, and actually tasting like bourbon instead of syrup. You could tell she cared enough to get it right instead of letting a rushed bartender crank something out. The best part came after that. I'm from Northern California and admittedly have a slightly obnoxious wine palate. Instead of just pointing at the wine list and walking away, Taylor spent a solid 10 minutes walking me through their red selections, talking about flavor profiles, letting me taste a couple options, and helping me land on a bottle that actually hit the spot. That kind of hospitality is rare. Most places are trying to turn tables as fast as possible. Taylor did the opposite. She slowed down, paid attention, and made sure the experience was right. Great hotels have nice rooms and amenities. Memorable hotels have people like Taylor. If management reads these reviews, give her the recognition she deserves.

Our wedding day was absolutely magical - better than we could have ever dreamed or planned for. Speaking of planning, the wedgewood team was phenomenal to work with from start to finish. Not only were they super helpful, detailed, and organized, but also so kind and so fun to work with! We feel incredibly lucky and grateful. Day of the wedding, Sierra (day of coordinator) and Lily (banquet captain) went above and beyond to ensure our special day was absolutely perfect. They were so awesome that even our guests were commenting on how sweet they both were! That made us so happy to hear. As is its so gorgeous - the ceremony site was in full bloom for our April wedding, the patio for cocktail hour overlooks the Saddleback mountains, and the indoor reception space comes adorned with twinkle lights and some draping that was just magical.
