First time trying this spot. While the place has a cute layout, it didn't feel very clean, surfaces and menus just had that overall sticky feel. And so did the condiments on the table. It was a pretty rough dinner service. The staff works hard, but they were clearly overwhelmed by the dinner rush. The phone was ringing off the hook and takeout customers were waiting a while for pick up orders. To top it off, it was a bit hot inside (the server even apologized for the temperature). The Food & Drinks: Thai Sampler: Mixed bag. The egg rolls and crab rangoons were good, but the chicken and prawn satay were bland and overcooked. Came with a basic side salad. Pepper Stir Fry: Very basic. Not flavor and nothing to write home about. Chicken Yakisoba: Just okay. Standard, typical flavor, but decent overall. Lemonade Boba (x2): Tasted good, but took about 20 minutes just to reach the table. Again they were just back ordered. Korean Corn Dog: Ordered, but it was forgotten and never made it to the table. When we got our check I asked our waitress to take it off she ended up giving us two for free to take with us - which was really kind. Haven't had food here for a long time but decided to stop in and try their take on a Banh Mi since they've recently started to promote it. The sandwich itself was nothing impressive. It was dry as an overall sandwich as it seemed to be lacking components i typically get on banh mi's elsewhere. Such as not having mayo, maggi or fish sauce. I got chicken as my meat choose and the meat itself is super delicious! there was lots of flavor but as a whole sandwich it was underwhelming. Room for improvement however! Takes a little while to get the food but it's well worth it! This is the only place I'll eat red curry. Staff have always been friendly.

I have been here over 20 times now and after last night not so sure if we will be back. Upon entering we sat down and a short young waitress wearing a nice white blouse came to the table. She didnt say hello or how are you just what would you want. She spoke so softly we could not make out what she said. After the order that was delivered by others She never once came back to the table. She would just stand around like she was really hating her job and life. There was a table next to us with another regular and there was something strange in her food and she left with the plate on the table. Little Ms White blouse stood by the counter and looked at the table and didn't bother to pick up the dirty dishes for over 30 minutes. We could over hear her and others laughing and making rude comments about the woman and her son that left. I had dirty dishes on my table that sat there most of the time I was eating. This person obviously does NOT belong in the food service business. The owner and the owners daughter were not there and the staff that was there, spent more time shooting the chit and could be heard all over the dining room. They were talking and belittling customers. If it was my place of business Little Ms White blouse Princess would have been fired immediately. The whole staff seemed to lack any kind of training and that falls on the owner. Food....came out really fast like 5 minutes and I suspected Chef Mike(microwave) was working hard. The pineapple fried rice was excellent. The Tom Kai was perfect. The red curry was...well lacking. It tasted like they used frozen chicken and then froze it again and then reheated it in the microwave. The sauce was really runny and should have been reduced. mostly just chicken in it. The flavor was OK but the quality not so much. I asked a different waitress who was very nice about the consistency of it and she said that it was made like a week ago and may have had a cook that didn't know what he was doing. Not her exact words but you get the idea. The Little Ms Princess White blouse would stare at the few customers they had and she would roll her eyes. Perhaps her first job? Should be her last. Please take the dirty velvet covered chairs to the dump. You cant clean them but I doubt that the staff cleans anything there. This was there 2nd strike and perhaps the 3rd and I dont think we will be back. Ill go downtown where the service is really good. read more

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but this experience was really disappointing. We ordered the Korean corn dogs, fries, and seafood pho. Unfortunately, the food tasted like it had been fried in old oil -- both the corn dogs and the fries had the same unpleasant taste, and the seafood pho was also very bad. The first server who helped us was very nice, but the other two girls working there were extremely rude. They kept looking at us in a judgmental way and made us feel uncomfortable the whole time. As someone who also owns a restaurant, I understand how the food and service industry works, and I know the difference between a good experience and a poor one. Sadly, this was not a good experience. The food quality did not match the price, and we were also not given basic things like spoons, napkins, plates, or forks until we had to ask. I was a regular customer here. The food has always been good. Tonight, on Mother's Day, my wife chose here to order for her Mother's Day dinner. When we got it there was absolutely no sauce on the Pad Thai. The green curry was loaded with onions, which they don't normally put in there. My wife does not like onions and has order the green curry multiple times, it has NEVER had onions in it. It also had no flavor or spice AT ALL. Finally, the rice WAS NOT COOKED ALL THE WAY. We called them to let them know what was wrong (we never call or return wrong food, but this was so bad and on Mother's Day that we felt we needed to). We were informed that they would not remake our food because they were 30 minutes from closing and the only way to get a refund was to bring back the food. I told them that we had already eaten the gyoza (which was DELICIOUS) and drank the Thai Teas but because of the inconvenience of bringing the food back and it being a MOTHER'S DAY dinner (our kids were at home eating their food without my wife while we were dealing with this), we wanted a full refund. They refused. We brought the food back and again asked for a full refund, they still refused. I asked for a manager and was told one wasn't there. We took our partial refund and informed them that we will be calling a manager tomorrow. The woman we were talking with was extremely rude and acted like she didn't care. She said well, we are busy so we won't remake anything. As we left, another customer chased us down and told us to make sure we call. Apparently, her husband's meal was completely wrong and she was going someplace else to get food because they wouldn't remake it. She also let us know that while she was there eating she saw at least 4 other customers bring food back in. My mother-in-law also ordered from there tonight and they were missing 3 full meals from their order when they picked it up. I am unsure if she was able to get a refund or food replacement. This is unacceptable customer service and we will not be back. read more

Absolutely not good! The pho broth was cold instead of scalding and without any flavor...maybe because it the end of their day?! You shouldn't have to add sriracha, or hoisen sauce to make it good. Not only was the broth flavored like soapy water, it was also the smallest amount served too. The flavor of the meat was like dish soap too as if the cutting surface was flavored with dirty dishwater. I'd blame it on cilantro, but there wasn't any in the dish. The brisket was very chewy and the sliced "rare" steak was cooked through, not even any pink. My child wouldn't eat it and he loves noodles. No issue about the service, the food sucks. I tried calling 3 times and couldn't get through for a to go order. Someone answered once and then hung up on me. So I decided to go in. When I got there I ordered our order (orange chicken and tofu pad Thai) and then decided to add some boba teas. I was told they didn't have milk tea anymore, only the blended tea. Okay that's fine. Ordered them and waited. Also the front girl speaks very softly, maybe learn to speak up if you're working in food service. The tables weren't cleared so I sat at a table to the side and waited on my food. I got my food first which wasn't bad. Every person behind me got their full orders and then left. I was waiting for my teas when I realized they were just sitting on the back counter. I had to flag down the lady to grab them. When I got home we noticed the tofu in our pad Thai seemed old / Kindve chewy. We also got orange chicken and I remember the girl asking if we wanted rice, and yes I did want rice. We didn't get rice. Overall not really impressed. I've been before and had mediocre experiences but this time was probably the worst one. I really hate to post anything like this but I've worked in food service for years and know how hard it can be, and what needs to be done to make this better. Why not my pho (formerly known as why not my tai kitchen) has definitely gone down hill. Let's start with the service. We had a table of three and were only brought 2 Menus. We then ordered and the two sodas we ordered took 10-15 minutes to come out. The Coca-Cola did not taste right. We then ordered food which came out fast but the quality and the taste was poor. Here's what we got: Spring rolls: The spring rolls were good but served with tough rice paper. The peanut sauce that comes with the spring rolls tasted disgusting. Not like your normal peanut sauce The orange chicken noodle plate: The orange chicken tasted like biting into deep fried fair food fried with dirty old oil, with a very plain chicken. Most of each piece was just breading. The orange flavor was alright. The noodles were burnt and disgusting. Korean corn dog with hot Cheetos: Presentation was pretty good. The Breading tasted like nasty old oil. The spicy mayo just didn't go with it, should've topped it with a different sauce, maybe cheese sauce? Ambiance was alright very cold in the restaurant and it smelt like old dirty oil. We barely touched the orange chicken plate and asked for a refund on just that plate. The server went to the back and the manager came out and told us that "we ate half of the plate" when we only ate two pieces of chicken and a two bites of the noodles. The manager told us she could only give us 50% off or a different plate. I tried to tell her we only ate two pieces of chicken and were not interested in trying anything else on the menu but she didn't care. My body was craving some salt, and I knew Pho was in the neighborhood, so I called in an order. The gal who assisted me was super kind and helpful. It was ready within the time they said it'd be, I tipped 20%. It felt nice and hot through the bag and ready for my ravenous consumption. I pull open the bag, no chopsticks, no big deal I have extra. no hoisin/oyster sauce or garlic chili sauce, no big deal.. i've got sriracha.. A few bites in, tasting good, satisfying nomz. I look in the bowl... I see a fucking bloated ant. there are no ants in my house. I had to give up on the $30+ meal and throw it away. the iced thai tea was bomb though. I think Yakima food is suffering.. about 7 months ago I went to Arby's and ordered a beef and cheddar. I unwrapped the sandwich and noticed a chewed up hunk of beef/cheese sitting next to my beef sandwich. Service is extremely slow, only one server and one chef for the entire restaurant which is not bad but food took way too long. Side plate for pho did not come with basil, lime was unripe and was so hard to squeeze. Way too much noodles, it was basically soaking up the entire broth. What I don't understand is why is a bowl of pho 16 bucks. I'm from Seattle and it should be 10-12 dollars on average. I would not call this place authentic whatsoever. Took 20 minutes to get our waters, nobody checks on us so I have to refill my water by myself. People ordering takeout were sitting around complaining. This was my first time here and I liked it but the A/C wasn't working properly so they had a big fan to help with the 104° heat that was blazing all week. It was tolerable but not comfortable. The place felt spacious and clean. I ordered the #44 combo rice . This dish could easily feed 2-3 people as an entree and 4 people as a side dish. The rice was good, tasted fresh. I've been here twice. Always for the Bahn Mi sandwich and Korean style corn dogs, because there is nowhere else in this valley (that I know of) that sells them. While I know they are not "authentic" they are pretty good. The bread has improved since the last time and so have the Korean corn dogs. The meat on the sandwiches (pork) could be less dry but other than that I really like it! The milk tea boba is not that great like 0/5 stars but the lychee and passion fruit tea with fruit jelly is pretty good just a bit too sweet for me. Over all 4.25/5 since they are bringing a scarce service to the area but ther is still room for improvement. read more

I doubt that the owners read these reviews but if they do know this - your employees do not answer the phone. I have called and called and called trying to call in a take-out order and never get anything but voicemail. This is understandable because the owner only has one person working the front - answering the phone, taking and packaging orders, and waiting tables. I assume they simply don't have time to answer the phone so they take it off the hook and ignore it. This makes ordering takeout quite difficult. I have to physically go into the store to place an order and then sit outside while it's made. This is frustrating as the food is pretty good and I would eat here more often if the ordering process wasn't so cumbersome. The owner simply needs to hire another person for the front then their business would double. The employees are sabotaging this establishment simply to cope with being understaffed. Oh, and be careful about the level of heat. I'm no puss when it comes to heat but "medium" is simply inedible while "mild" is bland and not that great tasting.
