Went here on account of the rave reviews and was sorely disappointed! The almond milk latte was really quite bad! I had to throw it. And was hoping for a vegetarian breakfast sandwich, which they really didn't want to customize. I guess I caught them on a bad day, as the service was very minimal and unfriendly! And really not worth the rave reviews this place had, so I will not be back here, nor can I recommend them! A pity, as this place has potential!

Wicked Espresso has great coffee with fantastic customer service! The coffee shop is so cute and has so much personality with a great seating area on the patio. The owner made our coffee and was very nice, talkative, and gave us a run down of history of the shop and the area. Highly recommended!

This is such a cool spot! The wife and I rented a room upstairs at the Wicked Inn for our vacation. We started the day with some amazing coffee and pastries, and then spent most of the morning hiking around Sylvan lake (highly recommend BTW). When we got back we relaxed on the patio, played some connect 4, and sipped on some Mimosas! All in all it was a great day! I highly recommend Wicked Espresso/Inn for anyone visiting the Custer area.

Overpriced coffee, lacking flavor and somewhat smug service. Visited early morning, and service was less than friendly.

What an excellent little breakfast spot in downtown Rapid City, South Dakota!…read more We went early one morning on our way to do some business in Rapid and we found tons of street parking right in front. The place was fairly quiet, so we got right up to the counter and placed our order for a apricot "pop tart" pastry, an Elvis waffle, and a turkey avocado sandwich with a coffee & an Americano. Service was congenial and swift. Seating is rustic and hip (they have an adorable Volkswagen van inside the cafe) and lots of nice seating. The coffees were great and the petite apricot "pop tart" was super tasty. My turkey sandwich was fresh with high quality turkey breast (looked like it was shaved off a breast of a big roasted turkey, not traditional cold cut pressed turkey) and delicious fresh ingredients (fresh avocado, sprouts, beautiful bread), but my husband's waffle stole the show! Smothered in peanut butter with sliced bananas, chocolate chips, and whipped cream, that was on top of a perfectly executed Belgian waffle - I kept stealing bites! It was absolutely delicious!! Looking forward to returning and trying something new (if I can keep myself from ordering the Elvis waffle or that delicious turkey avocado sandwich again!) ;)

Sirloin Steak was cooked to perfection, shrimp was awesome, roast beef dinner, and the pasta was sooooo very good. All dinners came with the salad bar and it was plentiful. Kudos to the chef. Everything that we ordered was a culinary masterpiece. Service staff was great. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted and seated. And upon choosing a table, we were given menus by our server, who didn't have a name tag, so I couldn't reference her specifically, and asked to select a drink. After getting water, we eagerly wait for 15-ish minutes for our waitress to take our order. After placing our order of two burgers, nothing special, we waited patiently for our food. Keep in mind, we arrived at 8:10, 50 minutes before closing. We then waited 30 minutes for our burgers, only getting a light apology after 25. Upon receiving our food, we were FAMISHED, and it tasted good! But I think practically everything tastes good when you're hungry, am I right?!? After GOBBLING our burgers down, we received the check at approximately 9:05, and the waitress was eagerly looking at the screen when we politely left a tip justifiable for the service. I'm one always to tip a server, even if the service isn't the best. At the end, we were sent off with an "okay" and nothing more. I'm not one to complain, but a thank-you would've been nice since we weren't rude to her about the insane wait time. Ultimately, be warned: when you come here, it's a cute place to take family when passing through, but not when you're on a time crunch. In short, the food is pretty good, somewhere between 6/7 out of 10, but the service was very subpar, leaving us with a sour taste in our mouths.

Visited on 5/12/2026 with my family after a long morning at Mount Rushmore. The location is…read moreconvenient -- right inside the monument -- but convenience and the view are about the only things going for this place. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak ($18), a Cheeseburger ($17.50 + $0.75), and the Grilled Chicken Platter ($14.50) for our kid. Total came out to $54.50 for three people -- which, okay, it's a tourist spot, so I expected to pay a premium. What I didn't expect was to pay premium prices for food that felt like it was barely tried. The Philly was overcooked and dry. The meat was dark and tough -- no juiciness, no flavor. For $18, that's just not acceptable. The burger looked decent but tasted flat and underwhelming. The Grilled Chicken Platter for my child was the most disappointing -- it's listed as "grilled" on the menu, but the chicken came out barely touched. Pale, soft, almost like it was steamed and then given a quick pass on the grill just for looks. The mashed potatoes and corn on the side were fine -- nothing special. I'll give credit where it's due -- the ambiance is genuinely great. Eating with a direct view of Mount Rushmore is a cool experience you won't get anywhere else, and the dining area has a nice open feel to it. Service was also okay, no real complaints there. But when you're spending $54 on a family meal and every main dish misses, the view only carries you so far. If you're visiting, pack your own food or eat before you arrive. You'll thank yourself later.

Best Mushroom Bison Burger [Devils Tower WY]…read more Right before you enter the Devils Tower Monument and just across the DT Trading Post is this cafe... plenty of seating inside. This is a counter service so we placed our orders at the counter then they brought us our food to the table. I ordered the Mushroom Bison Burger (lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on the side) and it was deee-licious! The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. Bison is naturally leaner than ground beef too! The only thing that bothered me a little was the amount of flies inside the restaurant. Other than that I was enjoying my bison mushroom burger. Lots of parking on a paved parking lot. From the parking lot we walked up to the Devils Tower National Monument sign and took some photos with the rock in the background. Review #3488
